New ‘Victory Track Pack’ Now Available for ‘Guitar Hero World Tour’

by Joe Gillis, Jul 13 2009

guitar-hero-logoAlong with all the other cool things we like here at The Flickcast including movies, tv and comics, we also like to play some video games. One of our favorites is the Guitar Hero series where you get to at least pretend to be a rock God who plays serious kick-ass guitar. We may not be that in real life, but in the game, we rule.

Another things that’s cool about the Guitar Hero series is that they often release new song packs to expand the game and make us work even harder for that guitar mastery. And now, there’s another one that’s just come out for Guitar Hero World Tour to further challenge us (and you).

Here’s the info from the official Activision press release:

The Victory Track Pack is now live for Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and Wii for Guitar Hero World Tour. The Victory Track Pack features the following singles:

* A Day To Remember – “NJ Legion Iced Tea”

* The Sleeping – “Bomb the World”

* Silverstein – “I Am The Arsonist”

We have three more Track Packs to announce that are coming later this month: the Eagles of Death Metal Track Pack, available on July 16th; the Vagrant Records Track Pack, available on July 23rd; and the Knuckle Sandwich Track Pack, available on July 30th. Details of each Track Pack are below.

Eagles of Death Metal Track Pack, available July 16th:

* “Anything Cept The Truth”

* “Cherry Cola”

* “I Only Want You”

Vagrant Records Track Pack, available July 23rd:

* Thrice – “All the World is Mad”

* Alexisonfire – “Young Cardinals”

* Senses Fail – “The Martyr”

Knuckle Sandwich Track Pack, available July 30th:

* Protest the Hero – “Bloodmeat”

* Dropkick Murphys – “I’m Shipping up to Boston”

* Against Me! – “New Wave”

The Victory Track Pack is available now via Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 440 Microsoft Points and from the PlayStation Store for $5.49. The songs are also available as singles for 160 Microsoft Points, $1.99 from the PlayStation Store and 200 Wii Points.
