The Spock Uhura thing did not bother me at all. I thought it gave Spock’s character new depth.

Personally i think its a twist and a play on the Vulcan norms we are used to. Instead of embracing logic as spock did for the past 40+ years we have known him for, he now embraces the human side of him self, which is very refreshing. I would like to see that move up into even seeing little Spocks running around the bridge.

But with the movies now, we have to take the last 40+ years of Star Trek and toss them all right out the window. These new movies are going to be grittier, Nastier, and im hoping far more violent than the originals.

Cheers all I look forward to seeing Star Trek 2.

Is anyone else highly disturbed by this weird Spock/Uhura thing? It defeats the whole point of the Vulcan that he is so open about his relationship to her. I don’t necessarily think it is wrong to let Spock have a romance, but I feel like the true Spock would never have kissed her in front of Kirk and such. All I can say is there better not be like a sex scene or anything. I feel like that defiles the character. Does anybody agree?

As for Khan, I feel like it would simply be beating a dead horse.

what ever happens in the next star trek movie I am sure it be good star trek has a good director in jj abrams I really enjoyed the new movie and the cast where good

please NOT KAHN! Twice was too much! Loved the actor, hated the character, hated the movie! Don’t do it again. Surely there must be another story that can be told.

Star Trek The Motion Picture and the Borg were actually merged together. See the “Star Trek Legacy” video game story line.

I have always felt that “Star Trek the motion picture” and the Borg should be merged in some way or another. BUT I would really love to see what Mr. Abrams can do with the Klingon Empire.

Make Spock go through Pon Farr but not for Uhura.
Since there are few Vulcans he has to mate with a Vulcan to proliferate the race…but still loves Uhura…
Kahn would be great…Kinda a Mashup movie
