Also, one of his most interesting performances that I've seen, and I've seen all of his post 1960 movies. I've seen it many times over the last 20 years and it doesn't seem to be well known these days, even within the western genre fan club. A forgotten gem! There are many forgotten gems in the genre but one I think you may enjoy,if you haven't seen it already, would be "McCabe and Mrs. Miller". You may have to watch it in subtitles at first and then go back and watch it again without. It's a great movie experience! One of the best movies of Eastwood’s career.
