Dan Morgan was pretty much as crazy We do tend to lionise our outlaws. For a more modern perspective, try "Blue Murder" (Not the British show, the telemovie made by the ABC in Aust. So real that it was banned in New South Wales due to the predjudice in the court trials of the people portrayed in the show)which is about the 1980's Sydney Ganland. Also try the fantastic "Underbelly" series (now in it's third incarnation). Great and hard to find file.
