everyone who thinks that is a sword is an idiot cause obviously there gunna put a character from ff in a marvel movie……how does that no look like a hammer u guys have obviously never seen a picture of thor

Why I agree with most it looks like a sword during the movie, after the shot from above its obvious its a Hammer. You can see the round edge on the right for one. I got online just to make sure it wasn’t a sword because I had not idea who weilded one. Glad to clear it up, and look forward to the upcoming move Thor.

I agree with Vengeance, I watched the after credits bit 5 times, trying to work out what it was. Every time I saw it I thought it was Cloud’s sword. How can they expect people to recognize a hammer when you only see the part sitting on the ground for less than a second.

Then again, even in freeze frame, it still looks like Cloud’s sword buried in the ground.

If they wanted it to be rcognized as Thor’s hammer, they shouldn’t have made the base of it look like a swordguard. From what little bit they show, it looks more like Cloud’s sword(FF7) than a hammer.

I watched this movie twice and i saw something strange but familliar…
Look at about 80 minute of the movie, when Tony creates those pipes and then Coulson come in… Coulson pick ups round thing from the box and Tony sais to give to him… I think that this item looks like Captain’s America Shield…
I might be wrong but check for yourselfes.
