Hitting stores everywhere today, Screen Gems’ Legion will be taking the Earth by storm in the form of DVD and Blu-Ray. Originally in theaters back in January, the action-thriller brought about the apocalypse with a cool “God purging the world of it’s disease” storyline, some cool zombie/demonic baddies, and an epic showdown between angels Michael (Paul Bettany) and Gabriel (LOST’s Kevin Durand).
Directed by visual effects artist Scott Stewart, the film fills out its cast with some great talent like Dennis Quaid, Private Practice’s Kate Walsh, Tyrese Gibson, Adrianne Palicki, and American Gothic’s Lucas Black. As part of the Blu-Ray release, we’ve got some great clips from the disc’s features to show you.
Dennis Quaid delves into the troubles of his character, Bob, Paul Bettany talks about doing (just about) all of his own stunts, and we see exactly how the production crew got the 60+ year old Jeannette Miller to hang from a ceiling.
Check out the clips after the jump, and pick up Legion on Blu-Ray or DVD today.

Back in 2008, Playstation 3′s LittleBigPlanettook took the world by storm with it’s innovative gameplay and ability to essentially create your own video game to share and challenge other players across the globe.
The plot of the game was pretty simple: you’re a tiny sock character who goes through a gigantic world, solving puzzles, uncovering secrets, and collecting points to buy more add-ons. The true beauty of the game lied with the ability to create full levels and set them loose in the real world for other people to try out and play. The game sold nearly 500,000 copies between the US and UK alone, making it one of the highest grossing PS3 games of all time.
Now, barely2 years later, Media Molocule is doing it again, but this time on an even bigger scale, with LittleBigPlanet 2.The new game boasts itself as a “Platform for Games” as opposed to the first being a platformer. The game is said to be 100% backwards compatible with the first game, giving players complete run of over 2 million user-created levels.
The game is on a much larger scale, and upgrades the customization feature nearly 4-fold. The ability to create non-playable AI characters in each of your custom levels is a new feature as well as millions of new additions to the original list of customizable options. Fans can now also compose their own score and play director with a new film-shooting feature.
Take a look at the brand new trailer for LittleBigPlanet after the jump, featuring an awesome tune from Passion Pit, and keep it here as we bring you more news leading up to it’s release later this year.

When the iPhone made its debut in 2007 everyone knew it would be an exclusive to AT&T for some time. The exact length of that exclusive agreement was rumored to be five years but it was never possible to get confirmation on the exact terms of the agreement from any of the parties involved, especially Apple. That is, until now.
Based on court papers filed in 2007 as part of an ongoing class-action lawsuit in California which claims Apple and AT&T illegally exerted a monopoly over iPhone service by telling customers the iPhone’s required service contract was two years long when the Apple / AT&T exclusivity deal was actually for five years, there’s now some light to be shed on the deal.
Responding to the lawsuit, Apple’s lawyers argued that no one was ever promised an unlocked iPhone after two years and they repeatedly confirm the existence of the five-year agreement while noting it was publicly reported in USA Today.

Many, many moons ago I recall waiting with a bunch of my geeky and not-so-geeky high school pals in a never-ending line around the block for the highly-anticipated 12:01 showing of Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. It was a showing at our local theater, before the days of stadium seating and online ticketing. I remember that the film held a certain magic in the hours before it started.
Energy was buzzing all around us. While waiting, my friends and I played poker, tossed a football, answered trivia from boys dressed as Jedi Knights, and talked about which starship would win in a battle. Anyone who goes to Comic-Con’s geekest panel of them all, “Starship Smackdown”, knows the Millennium Falcon has been taken out of the running for winning one too many times.
But, I digress. There was excitement, magic, and a new hope that this film would be great. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed. As were many others that day.
As I waited for my friend to arrive at the 12:01 Arclight Hollywood Dome showing of Iron Man 2, I recalled those days with a bit of nostalgia. As I looked around the theater, I realized the movie-going experience had evolved.

With LOST ending in less than a month, just about everybody is scrapping together anything they can to try to figure out where creators Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse could possible take the show in it’s final hours. That list of people includes just about every fan of the show out there, including a few hapless Muppets.
For those who haven’t been keeping up, Muppet Studios has recently had a resurrection in the form of viral videos on YouTube. They were nominated for two Webby awards for their Bohemian Rhapsody cover, and have pumped out a new video just about every month.
They’ve recently focused their attention of Disney’s ABC with LOST. In a great episode of the web series LOST Slapdown, which you can check out after the jump, Rizzo the Rat and Bobo the Bear break into Lindelof and Cuse’s office to get some answers to some of the most hard-hitting questions we fans have been asking since day one.
It’s pretty entertaining to see the two worlds collide, and to see Lindelof’s acting. Also, if you’re looking for some more Muppet/LOST integration, check out the weekly LOST Untangled web recaps, which feature a Muppet-ized version of Dr. Chang, which was developed by Henson Studios.

Following up on our announcement of Alpha Protocol going gold last week, Sega sent us over a trailer for the game which highlights some of the different tactics gamers are going to need to utilize to be successful in this cutting edge espionage RPG. In addition to strategy, the video gives a great peek at the visuals players should expect upon the game’s release.
Stealth, martial arts, and gunplay with both the assault rifle and pistol look to be the four main focuses of Alpha Protocol. From the looks of this trailer, Alpha Protocol is two parts Splinter Cell mixed with the Bourne Identity and even tosses in a little dash of Just Cause 2 for good measure. Needless to say, we like the sound of that recipe.
The trailer also gives some positive indications of the game. As much as we liked Just Cause 2 here at the Flickcast, we can’t defend the abysmal level of voice acting in the game. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like Alpha Protocol will suffer the same fate.
Take a peek below at the “Developing Your Skills” trailer and check back for more news on Alpha Protocol as it becomes available.

The world of great artists lost an icon today as Frank Frazetta, a man whose art most often depicted fantastic worlds full of larger than life heroes fighting with swords and battle axes to defend busty, helpless women from horrible beasts, died today in Fort Myers, Fla. He was 82.
According to reports, his death was the result of a stroke and was confirmed by Rob Pistella and Steve Ferzoco, his business managers. Frazetta, who had a history of strokes, had returned from a Mother’s Day dinner with his family on Sunday night and complained of feeling ill. Frazetta was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
Frazetta’s work began many years ago on daily comic strips like Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon and Li’l Abner. He then moved on to comic books in the 1950s. In the mid 1960′s Frazetta became even more popular and began illustrating pulp heroes like Conan the Barbarian and John Carter of Mars for their comics and books.
Because of his style and penchant for scantly clad women, he also illustrated album covers for various heavy metal bands such as Molly Hatchet and Nazareth. His work was also an inspiration to many artists working in comics and graphic novels and the scope of that influence can only be hinted at by the amount of activity on Twitter today at the news of his death.
Obviously, he will be missed.

This recap contains major spoilers for “I See You” the 8th episode in season three of Breaking Bad.
If there is one thing I have come to expect from Breaking Bad, it is a stellar opening sequence, and tonight was no exception. The show opens with Jesse putting on his street clothes (with considerable effort) to go home from the hospital after the brutal beating he took at the hand of Hank last week.
An orderly wheels him out to the front of the building, and leaves him to wait for his ride. Jesse sits there on the curb in his wheelchair when an ambulance pulls past him and wheels out a man on a gurney.
Jesse is shocked to recognize Hank, the very man who just beat him up. He follows the gurney into the hospital to confirm his suspicions, and yep, it’s Hank all right. Jesse can’t move much on his face, but his right eye lights up with glee at this Karmic event.
Back at the meth lab, Walt is trying to break up with his lab assistant, Gale, who is not taking it very well. Gale knows that he has done a great job, and doesn’t understand why Walt would let him go, it just doesn’t make sense.

One of the greatest and perhaps most under-appreciated feature of stand-alone GPS devices from Garmin and TomTom is the ability to download and use custom voices. Who doesn’t want the A-Team‘s Mister T shouting as you drive, “I pity the fool who doesn’t turn right in point two miles?”
I don’t want to live in a world where such things aren’t possible. TomTom specifically, has brought some great voices to market over the past few years. Homer Simpson as an example. KITT from Knight Rider for another. Even David Hasselhoff has his own voice pack for GPS devices. And yet, something’s been conspicuously absent: Star Wars!
Finally, this deficiency has been resolved with TomTom’s first officially-licensed Star Wars voice download. First up? Vader. For $12.95 you can download the Darth Vader voice to your TomTom device and begin geeking out every time you get in your car. Some of Vader’s helpful lines for the directionally-challenged include:
“Depart. Your destiny lies with me. Obi Wan knew this to be true.”
“Turn around when possible. I find your lack of faith disturbing. Then, take the third left. Sense your way.”
“Left turn ahead. Then, go around the roundabout. The circle is now complete. Sith exit.”
Awesome. TomTom plans to release additional Star Wars-themed voice packs in the near future. C3P0, Yoda and Han Solo are coming soon and will probably be priced similarly. Hit the official TomTom Star Wars portal for some great free content for your GPS including Star Wars-themed start up screens, sounds and car icons.
In the meantime, check out a great video of Darth Vader recording some instructions after the jump. You won’t want to miss this!

1978′s The Boys in Company C, along with Go Tell the Spartans, was one of the first Vietnam films to be made after the war. Directed by Sidney J. Furie, the film follows a group of young Marine recruits from Camp Pendeleton, California in late 1967 through the horrific Tet Offensive in January 1968.
The film stars Stan Shaw (Tyrone Washington), Andrew Stevens (in his golden globe winning performance) (Billy Ray Pike), James Canning (Alvin Foster) and Michael Lembeck (Vinnie Fazio). It also stars Craig Wasson (Dave Brisbee), Scott Hylands (Capt. Collins), James Whitmore Jr. (Lt. Archer) Noble Willingham (The Gunny), and R. Lee Ermey in his first major role as, you guessed it, as Drill Instructor Sgt. Loyce.
The film serves as a combat diary with Pvt. Alvin Foster as the film’s narrator. The five inductees form a strong bond of friendship with one another as they turn from raw recruits, into battle hardened Marines. The film is considered a drama, yet has very comedic elements to it. In one scene when the inductees take their oath as Marines, they are then sent to the barber where they are given their new regulation haircuts.
Brisbee (Wasson) is a pacifist who Ermey refers to as “Jesus” because he actually looks like Jesus. When they are filed into the barber a few at a time, Loyce (Ermey) tells one of the barbers to “Do a good job on Jesus for me.” Brisbee and the others then look in horror as to their new “high and tight” hairstyle.
