This Sunday at 8PM EST on ABC, Brie Bella, along with her sister Nikki, WWE Superstars R-Truth and the Big Show, and Nascar legend Jeff Gordon will be appearing on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. On the episode, these five stars teamed up to help out Amanda and Derrick Suggs, a couple with two children of their own who also adopted Amanda’s younger siblings to prevent them from being placed into foster care.
We recently got to chat with Brie, one half of the WWE’s hottest twins (no offense, Earl and Dave Hebner). Take a look below at what Brie has to tell us about this unique experience as well as her time in WWE and being the local girl at this year’s WrestleMania 26.
The Flickcast: For those who aren’t familiar with you and your sister can you just give a quick little intro on how you got on TV?
Brie Bella: Well we are the Bella twins, Nikki and Brie Bella and I actually debuted on SmackDown first. I started wrestling against Victoria and Nikki and I had our little tricks up our sleeve with some twin switches and then in November (of 2008), the twins debuted together. So since then we’ve been a strong tag team and been on SmackDown, ECW and Raw. Now we are the guest host assistants on Monday Night Raw.
TFC: Well speaking of tag teams, the reason we are talking with you today are because you and your sister are appearing on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and you had some interesting partners pairing up with you. You had R-Truth and the Big Show, both WWE Superstars, as well as Jeff Gordon. Would you like to tell us about working with them?

Last fall, Spike TV offered an interesting new program that piqued the interest of college students and the general male population: who would win in a fight between a pirate and a ninja? That program led to a highly successful season of Deadliest Warrior for the network, and now they’re gearing up for a second season, with even more “what if?” scenarios.
On April 20th, Deadliest Warrior returns with all new episodes and matchups including Attila the Hun vs. Alexander the Great, Aztec Jaguar vs. Zande Warrior, Jesse James Gang vs. Al Capone Gang, Persian Immortal vs. Celt, Roman Centurion vs. India’s Rajput Warrior, Somali Pirate vs. Medellin Cartel, Nazi SS vs. Viet Cong, KGB vs. CIA, Vlad the Impaler vs. Sun Tzu, Ming Warrior vs. Musketeer, Comanche vs. Mongol and Navy Seal vs. Israeli Commando.
Check out a brand new sneak peek at the upcoming season, and be sure to watch Spike TV on April 20th for the premiere of Deadliest Warrior season two.

A few days ago I raved about SyFy’s reality show Destination Truth, and hopefully inspired a few more of you to put it on your DVR or TIVO. In case my enthusiasm wasn’t enough to convince you, SyFy has sent us a clip of next week’s Destination Truth, where Gates and his crew investigate the Great Wall of China. I was hoping the clip would be of a hilarious cultural misunderstanding or bout of food poisoning, but it’s of Gates brushing up against a possible entity.
If you’ve never seen the show before, you might find yourself sneering at Gates’ goosebumps, but don’t judge too hastily. He’s actually a hard man to shake. Judge its night vision eeriness for yourself.
Along spookier lines, SyFy has also included a clip of next week’s Ghost Hunters, which finds TAPS doing its usual thing, and investigating some paranormal activity in New Jersey. (New Jersey may not be as exotic as China, but it’s just as colorful in its own way, right?) Watch them try to solve the mystery of the climbing EMF reading. Red-blooded males will probably appreciate it’s the two lovely ghost hunting ladies that are doing the investigating.
Is any of it for real? Who knows. It’s good fun, anyway. I’m not a fan of reality television, but SyFy has me hooked with all these investigations into pseudo-science. Plus, I saw Gates kiss a cobra on an Egyptian episode. Seeing someone risk death for a laugh and vaguely educational purposes is worth a Wednesday night.
The clips are embedded below. Thanks to SyFy for sending them to us!

Let me be gushingly frank. If you are anywhere other than the SyFy Channel on Wednesday nights, you’re missing one of the coolest shows on television: Destination Truth.
Oh, I know what you’re thinking. SyFy Channel! Sure, they have Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who, but it’s really just the land of classic films such as Wyvern and Manticore and the unconfirmed Sharktopus. It’s the channel of camp, even if you are tempted by Ghost Hunters’ Halloween special.
Or maybe you’re secretly indulging in Ghost Hunters all the time. I know I am. It’s my one reality show pleasure.
At least it was. But I became so intrigued by Josh Gates’ enthusiastic SyFy spots that I gave in and watched Destination Truth. Forget Ghost Hunters. This is now my reality show addiction.
The concept is silly: Gates and his team go looking for monsters. It’s cryptozoology at it’s silliest as he and his team race around dangerous locations looking for evidence of yetis, giant serpents, giant squid, and werewolves. They break it up with forays into the paranormal, and do a bit of ghost hunting or sail around the Bermuda Triangle.

In additon to the awesome Psych season finale airing tonight, another of our favorite shows is airing a new episode as well: Ghost Hunters. This week, in an episode eititled “Fort Ticonderoga” the team heads a famous revolutionary war battleground in search of one thing: ghosts.
As they are in a place where thousands of men fought and died you can imagine thie are is probably full of ghosts just waiting to scar the crap out of the team. In the clip we get a glimpse of the area where the battle took place and follow the team as they attempt to uncover the secrets buried there. Fortunately for us, the viewing audience, those secrets don’t stay buried for long.
Check out the preview after the jump. Ghost Hunters airs tonight at 9/8C on Syfy.

In today’s television marketplace the traditional paradigm of new shows in the Fall and then reruns all Summer has gone away. Now, we get new shows almost anytime during the year with the midseason being one of the most popular.
Case in point are our friends at NBC who have several new shows for the midseason and we’ve got preview videos of some of them for you today. Some of these shows include The Marriage Ref, Minute to Win It and Who Do You Think You Are?.
For The Marriage Ref we’ve got a preview where Madonna goes head-to-head with Larry David and the panel turns again host Tom Papa Plus, Kelly Ripa and Don Rickles hand out some marriage advice. Next up is Minute To Win It where we find out just how difficult the challenges can be and get a closer look at two of the challenges with a slow motion camera.
Finally, with Who Do You Think You Are?, watch celebrities such as Lisa Kudrow, Spike Lee, Emmitt Smith and Susan Sarandon experience very personal moments and get a preview of four of these stories as they discover their own pasts. Actually, of the three, this one looks to be the most interesting. But whatever your thoughts about these shows, be sure to check out all the previews after the break.

Our fine friends at NBC have sent us some video and we, being the cool people that we are, are eager to share it with you. First up is a brand new episode of NBC’s “controversial” reality show The Wanted, which concerns an elite group of crime fighters who have no real affiliation and are just private individuals, who join together to hunt down people known to be part of terrorist organizations.
Next up is a promo for a new show, Trauma, which hits the airwaves on September 28th at 9/8C, is Executive Produced by Peter Berg and is an intense, action-packed look at one of the most dangerous medical professions in the world: first responder paramedics.
To be honest, I’m kinda on the fence about The Wanted. I think the “reality” elements of the show at times feel scripted and not real at all. Plus, its just sorta hokey and lame in some parts as well. Trauma, on the other hand, seems like a pretty interesting show and one I will tune in and check out.
Click through to check out both shows after the break.
