It should come as no surprise that actor Bill Paxton knows James Cameron and Kathryn Bigelow pretty well. After all, he’s been featured in most of Cameron’s films including Aliens, The Terminator, True Lies and Titanic and starred in Bigelow’s vampire film Near Dark. He even worked with both Cameron and Bigelow on a music video for his band Martini Ranch oh so many years ago.
So it’s been kinda odd that nobody has talked to Paxton about both Cameron and Bigelow, especially as the two directors used to be married and are both nominated for Best Director Academy Awards this year. Fortunately, the folks at The Jimmy Fallon Show have seen fit to remedy this situation with an interview of Paxton, which we’ve got the video of to share with you today.
As Paxton is a friend of both directors and owes much of his career to Cameron in particular, he doesn’t really spill the dirt and give us anything particularly revolutionary. Still, it’s interesting to hear him speak about a subject, and two people, he knows so well.
Check out the video after the break.

Yes folks, it’s that time again here at The Flickcast. Recap time. In this edition we’ve got clips and previews for some of NBC’s shows including Mercy and the soon to be on his own Conan O’Brien from The Tonight Show. First up on Mercy, Veronica’s patient last night was an interesting one and didn’t look all that bad for a man who wakes up from a ten year coma.
Next, Conan had some pretty good guests on his show last night and the love fest continued. The very funny Adam Sandler and Community’s Joel McHale stopped by. Joel even made a very generous offer – to let Conan host his show The Soup.
He wasn’t the only NBC actor to support Conan as Ed Helms of The Office also stopped in (and brought his piano) for a quick song: a remix of his song from The Hangover with lyrics just for Conan. Oh, and apparently some sort of Masturbating Bear was also there.
Check out all the video clips after the jump.

Even though it seemed Conan O’Brien was getting kinda shafted by his corporate masters at NBC, it looks now like he’ll at least come out ok in one area: a big settlement. According to Yahoo News, NBC is confirming that they have reached a deal with Conan O’Brien and the check has quite a few digits on it.
According to the terms of the deal, Conan’s last show will be this Friday night and NBC has agreed to pay Conan and his staff $45 Million for their troubles. $32.5 Million will go to Conan himself while the rest of the money goes to his staff, most of whom moved to Los Angeles from New York with Conan to do the show.
Obviously, they thought the show would last longer than 7 months so it made sense to move to LA. That’s what they get for thinking, right? It’s also being reported elsewhere that as part of the terms of the deal Conan is allowed to take very few elements of the show with him should he choose to go to another network. Let’s just hope the Masturbating Bear is one of them he can take.
Jay Leno returns to The Tonight Show on March 1.

This week on The Flickcast, Chris and Matt are again joined by Elisabeth Rappe and, as usual, launch into discussions of various topics including Twilight’s vampire baby, that Breaking Dawn may be unfilmable, Conan O’Brian, Jay Leno and NBC and the Spider-Man reboot. They also discuss Stuart Townsend leaving Thor, the casting of Blake Lively in Green Lantern, who should play Sinestro in Green Lantern and a whole lot more.
The trio also made some new picks this week including Matt’s pick of Aziz Ansari’s standup video Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening, Elisabeth’s pick of Lesbian Vampire Killers and Chris’ pick of Katherine Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker, which is new on Blu-ray this week and also one of Chris’ top ten films of 2009.

For those unaware, one of the best and most poignant talk shows isn’t on network or cable television — it’s actually only on Funny Or Die. The show? Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifiniakis. The comedic relief from such films and TV shows as The Hangover and Bored To Death hosts a satire of bad local interview shows with some of his Hollywood friends, and each are funnier than the last.
Lately, he has had such guests as Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, Charlize Theron, and even fellow Hangover star Bradley Cooper. His most recent episode had the dynamic duo of late night TV, Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter. Zach has a bit of a problem with Conan, and he doesn’t hide it very well.
Check out the video behind the jump, courtesy of FunnyOrDie.com, and be sure to keep your eye on Zach G and his upcoming endeavors, as he’s on the way to toppling Will Ferrel for Hollywood’s King of Comedy.

We get a lot of video sent to us so we don’t always share them here at the site, mostly because in a majority of cases guests on Jimmy Fallon’s show don’t really “wow” us. But when one of our favorite stars from one of the best shows currently on TV does something awesome, we just feel compelled to bring it to you.
Case in point is last night’s appearance by the beautiful and talented January Jones (Mad Men). On the show she talked about the usual stuff as most talk show guests do. She also joined Jimmy in a little game of what we like to call beer pong and we’ve got video of that to share.
Any woman who’s as good looking as Ms. Jones, can play beer pong and comments when her beer isn’t full enough definitely deserves our respect, admiration and affection. Plus, did I mention she’s really great looking?
Check out the video after the jump. Late Night with Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 12:30PM on NBC. Mad Men returns to AMC for a fourth season next year. That just can’t come soon enough.
