Well friends, the long wait is finally over as the new TV season kicks off this week with the return of many of our favorite shows. Tonight sees the season premiere of one of our favorites, Chuck, with all new episodes sure to be even more fun and exciting than the last three seasons put together. Or, at least we hope so.
To get things started right we’ve got a whole batch of previews for tonight’s premiere to share with you. Among these videos are Zach Levi’s guided tour of what to expect this season, interviews with guest stars Dolph Lundgren and Linda Hamilton and Chuck learning that’s he’s been un-fired from General Beckman. Plus, Chuck discovers that even though he’s been away, things haven’t really changed in the spy business and then he and Morgan marvel at the all-new and improved Buy More.
Looking at all these previews, it seems this season looks to be pretty exciting indeed. What will happen and how is anyone’s guess at the moment but no matter what it is you can bet we’ll be watching.
Chuck season four kicks off tonight at 8/7C on NBC. Check out all the videos after the break.

If you’ve been coming to The Flickcast for pretty much any time at all you undoubtedly know we love good TV shows. That’s why we’re excited for the return of two of our favorites next week: Chuck and Community.
Both of these shows represent what’s best about TV and excel in their given genre. From action to humor to drama to romance both of these shows deliver. So, to commemorate them returning to the air next week, we’ve got previews from both shows to share with you today.
First up is Chuck and in this video you get some details about the fourth season of the show from series stars Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski. But wait, you also get a surprise appearance by Dolph Lundgren as well so what could be better than that? Finally, Casey gets a real nemesis. Or does he?
Next up is Community which, if you’re not aware, is one of the funniest shows on TV. Go watch the episode entitled “Modern Warfare” if you don’t believe me. In the videos today we’ve got all sorts of great stuff including a Season 1 remix clip and cast outtakes. Great stuff indeed and more than enough to get you ready for next week’s premiere.
Check out all the videos after, as always, the jump. Chuck returns next Monday at 8/7C and Community on Thursday at 8/7C only on NBC.

We often bring you previews of current and upcoming TV programs and today is no exception. Some of these shows are brand new for the Fall and some, in the case of Chuck, are not new but returning and we’ve already covered them quite a bit before.
Today, we’ve got previews for The Event, Chase, Undercovers and, as I said, Chuck. For The Event Nick Wauters has three videos from his production diary which give you access to the set and series star Jason Ritter. Next up on Chase stars Kelli Giddish, Cole Hauser, Amaury Nolasco, Jesse Metcalfe and Rose Collins talk about the action-packed series.
For Undercovers we’ve got interviews with cast members Mekia Cox and Carter MacIntyre who talk about their characters and what the atmosphere is like on set. Last, but certainly not least, we’ve got a Chuck video where the cast and crew discuss the “bromance” between Chuck and his pal Morgan.
Check out all the videos after, of course, the jump. Look for all of these shows this Fall.

Only a few actors can say they’ve run the gambit in the world of fan-friendly projects. Having worked with Joss Whedon at least twice, voiced Superman, worked on several Halo video games, and co-starred in everyone’s favorite nerd spy comedy Chuck, Adam Baldwin is one of those actors.
Last season on Chuck, Baldwin’s Colonel Casey went through quite a bit. He’s now reunited with his daughter and has a brand new partner in Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez). Along with working on the next season of Chuck, Baldwin has also taken time to return to voice Superman in Sony’s upcoming DC Universe Online video game.
We got the chance to discuss Baldwin’s character’s direction in the upcoming season of Chuck, as well as returning to play The Man of Steel.
Check out what he had to say after the jump, and be sure to catch all new episodes of Chuck this Fall on NBC.

1987′s Full Metal Jacket is Stanley Kubrick’s riveting classic about U.S. Marines who survive the brutality of basic training only to be caught up in the horrific 1968 Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War. The film is based on Gustav Hasford’s novel The Short-Timers, and screen writer Michael Herr (Apocalypse Now), lend their literary talents to the production of the film.
Matthew Modine (“Joker”), Adam Baldwin (Sgt. “Animal Mother”), Vincent D’ Onofrio (Pvt. “Gomer Pyle”) Arliss Howard (“Cowboy”), and R. Lee Ermey (Gunnery Sgt. Hartman) make up the cast of this amazing Vietnam war movie. Like Paths of Glory, Dr. Strangelove, and Kubrick’s incredibly underrated eighteenth century military period piece Barry Lyndon, Full Metal Jacket is shot for shot, and line for line Kubrick at his finest.
The film is most notable for Ermey’s improvisation in many of the scenes. During the production Ermey was made the military technical adviser for the film and he so desperately wanted to try out for the role of Sgt. Hartman. Kubrick had seen and admired Ermey’s portrayal of SSgt. Loyce in The Boys in Company C and felt that he wasn’t tough enough for the role.

Fans of the MMORPG DC Universe will be happy to know that today Sony Online Entertainment announced that two of their best-known vocal talents will be voicing two of their most popular characters.
Mark Hamill (Star Wars), who voiced The Joker for both the early ’90s Batman: The Animated Series as well as the hit game Batman: Arkham Asylum, will be returning as The Clown Prince of Crime; and Kevin Conroy, voice of Batman himself, also in The Animated Series and Arkham Asylum, will again lend his talents as the Caped Crusader.
In addition to Hamill and Conroy, a number of other well-known voice talents fill out the cast, among them Adam Baldwin (Firefly, The X-Files, Angel) will be providing the voice of Superman while Gina Torres, star of the ABC series Huge and previously the voice of DC favorites Vixen and Superwoman, will be playing the Amazon Wonder Woman.

Joss Whedon fans (or “Whedonites) may be loyal, but their loyalty is nothing compared to their originality when it comes to their idol’s creations. They’ve given us some cool art, and plenty of fan vids to swoon over, and now it’s Firefly’s turn, as it gets a classic 80′s makeover. Well, at least the intro titles do.
The original intro was good, and just about every fan knows the lyrics, but it didn’t do much for the typical sci-fi fan. The cool cats over at io9 put together this little 80′s rendition of the Firefly intro, in all of it’s Western/Deep Space glory. Think of Quantum Leap meets Brisco County Jr., all squeezed into about 90 seconds.
Check out the intro video after the jump, and if you’re asking yourself “What about Simon Tam??”, it seems that he deserved his own personal show.

Fortunately, one of our favorite shows will be coming back next year so tonight’s two-hour season finale of Chuck isn’t all that sad. Well, at least the fact that the series is having a season finale isn’t sad. The episode itself? Perhaps.
To get you in the mood for tonight, we’ve got not one, but two clips about the show. In them, you get to see stars Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski discuss the finale and the super-secret ending that will surely turn everything in Chuck world upside down. Then, check out all the action in a clip from the actual episode and marvel at how the show’s creative team make it look so good after having their budget cut for this season.
All the action kicks off tonight at 8/7C on NBC. Until then, check out both clips after the jump.

Fans of NBC’s Chuck and ABC’s V it’s time to break out the champagne (or celebratory beverage of your choice). Why? Because both of these shows ave been renewed by their respective networks.
That’s right, both Chuck and V will be getting thirteen new episodes next season which will actually be season four for Chuck and season two for V. As a big fan of both shows I, for one, am thrilled with the news. I’ve been with Chuck since the beginning and was worried about the perpetual “on the bubble” show most of this season, just like last season when renewal was in question right up to the end.
That was the case with V as well, which took a very long hiatus after a short run and then came back to finish its season, which concludes next week. Fortunately, after a somewhat slow start, ratings for V have improved significantly, especially last week’s episode, while those for Chuck have remained steady but have not been spectacular.
Fortunately, Chuck has seemingly done well enough to get another go and now we know we get to enjoy both shows again next season. Great news indeed. Sadly, things are not so good for another freshmen show Flash Forward, which has seen its ratings steadily decline and has gone through a host of creative changes. The network has decided to pull the plug and it will not be coming back next year.

In case you’re not familiar with the story of actor Steven Baldwin. He’s had a long career, was pretty popular and did some decent movies, including The Usual Suspects. But now, according to reports, he’s broke and needs money.
So, what do celebrities do when they’re broke and need money? They turn to the Internets of course. Although, according to the site established by a Christian ministry for Baldwin he didn’t commission them to put it together, they are just doing it to help out the actor.
What does all this have to do with Joss Whedon and his ass-kicking chicks? Glad you asked. Watch the video after the jump and all will be revealed in a pretty hilarious way.
Enjoy and don’t say we never gave you anything good.

If you’ve felt something was missing from your Monday nights you’re in luck because Chuck returns tonight with an all new episode. To commemorate this great event, we’ve got a preview and another cool video for tonight’s episode to share with you right now, courtesy of our friends at NBC.
Up first, Chuck and Sarah are back and working as a couple in Europe with Morgan and Casey following close behind. Of course, as you might guess, Morgan and Casey don’t stay in the shadows for long once the bullets and fists start flying.
Next, a terrific video in the form of a “Hart-felt Homage” where Morgan pays tribute to Chuck and Sarah in the vein of classic spy stories. It’s pretty clever and sorta makes me nostalgic for those first episodes of Chuck and how it all began.
Check out all the action when Chuck returns tonight at 8/7C on NBC. Until then, be sure to check out both of these great videos after the jump.

Okay Chuck fans, tonight’s episode will be a big one. Things have been heating up between Shaw and Sarah but she’s also realized she still has feelings for Chuck so in this episode it’s decision time.
Of course, thanks to our friends at NBC, we’ve got a preview of tomight’s episode for you right here. What will Sarah do? Will she choose Shaw and a life of adventure in Washington, DC? Or, will she give in to her true feelings and choose choose Chuck?
For us its an easy decision: Chuck’s the man. However, for her the choices is a much more difficult one. No matter what happens, tonight’s episode promises to be one you’re going to remember. Plus, while Sarah is making up her mind, Chuck also goes out and kicks some but, which is always fun.
Check out the preview for tonight’s episode after the jump. Chuck airs tonight at 8/7C on NBC.
