As we’ve been doing a lot lately, we’ve got another huge bunch of previews for another Fall TV show to share with you today. This time around the previews are for the new J.J. Abrams show Undercovers.
In case you’re not familiar with the series, here’s a little bit of info on its plot and characters:
Outwardly, Steven Bloom (Boris Kodjoe) and his wife, Samantha (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), are a typical married couple who own and operate a small catering company in Los Angeles. Secretly, the duo were two of the best spies the CIA had ever known, until they fell in love on the job five years ago and retired.
When fellow spy and good friend Leo Nash (Carter MacIntyre) goes missing while on the trail of a Russian arms dealer, the Blooms are reinstated by boss and agency liaison, Carlton Shaw (Gerald McRaney), to locate and rescue Nash. Following leads that take them to cities spanning the globe, Steven and Samantha quickly realize that perhaps this supercharged, undercover lifestyle provides exactly the kind of excitement and romance that their marriage has been missing.
Okay that’s the story. Now, to help you learn even more, we’ve got those videos we told you about after the jump including the full length trailer, interviews with the show’s two leads and and interview with the man himself J.J. Abrams. Check them out. Undercovers premieres September 22nd on NBC.

Then with Law & Order LA this new promo links East Coast with West as the cops and lawyers of SVU and LOLA get fans ready for the Fall. We’ve also got interview with cast members Corey Stoll and Skeet Ulrich as they discuss their characters on the show.
For Outlaw the supporting members of Cyrus Garza’s legal team dish on what it’s like working with Jimmy Smits, answer fan questions and give you a preview of the series. Friday has sorta turned into “Clip Friday” around The Flickcast offices seeing as how we tend to bring you previews of shows quite a bit at the end of the week. However, even though we do it frequently, that doesn’t make it any less fun — especially when the show being previewed today comes from none other than J.J. Abrams.
The show is Undercovers and we’ve brought you some info on it previously including a bit on the plot and a couple previews. Now, we’ve got even more to show you: Interviews with some of the cast and Abrams himself as well as a never-before-seen clips from the new show.
Pay close attention to the interview with Abrams because he talks about his love of the spy genre and also mentions another of our favorite shows that we’ve discussed arond here recently.
Click through for all the clips. Be sure to check out Undercovers when it premieres on NBC in the Fall and follow the show via Facebook and Twitter.

As the next installment of the Resident Evil series picks up steam some casting news has been revealed in a somewhat unofficial way. According to actor Boris Kodjoe, Prison Break‘s Wentworth Miller will be appearing in Resident Evil: Afterlife. While nothing official has come out regarding his character there is speculation that he may play Leon Kennedy, a police officer from the video game itself who has yet to appear in any of the films.
Kodjoe also gave an idea of how his character will meet up with Milla Jovovich’s Alice in the new film, “She comes across an LA jail surrounded by [zombies]… and there’s a couple of survivors and she lands on top of the roof and partners up with me to fight the guys that are coming after them. We’re trying to get all of the survivors out of the jail to safety.”
While nothing was said about Miller being part of that jail scene it seems the actor just can’t get away from plots that involve prisons. Kodjoe, also stated that Heroes’ Ali Larter will return to reprise her role as Claire Redfield from Resident Evil: Extinction. No release date has been set for Resident Evil: Afterlife but we’ll keep you posted.

Robots can be a pretty scary thing, but not nearly as scary as Bruce Willis when he has something to prove. We all remember Die Hard. That seems to be the fight card for next week’s release of Surrogates: Bruce Willis vs. Robots. Who wouldn’t want to see John McClain fight Optimus Prime? Same concept.
There’s a brand new international trailer out for the film, that shows a few more scenes, and gives us a deeper look into a world where humans control their robot counterparts from the comfort of their own home…until something goes terribly wrong.
Check out the new trailer after the jump, and enjoy Bruce Willis, Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, James Francis Ginty, Boris Kodjoe, and Ving Rhames in theaters nationally on September 25th for Surrogates.
