Felicia Day and her gang of Warcrafting anti-socialites are now back in full force with season three of The Guild over on MSN.com and the Xbox Live Arcade. The show has taken off since it’s launch back in 2007 about a group of quirky computer gamers and their interactions with one another.
The team has picked up quite a lot of other notoriety since the birth of the web series. Felicia Day has had huge success from her role as Penny on Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog and the unaired 13th episode of Dollhouse. Also, Sandeep Parikh has had great spinoff success with his Legend of Zelda parody, Legend of Neil.
Season 3 started off about a month ago, which picked up a few weeks after the epic season 2 cliffhanger. This season has already brought the guilders out of their natural habitat of a computer screen into human contact with other gamers while waiting in line for a new expansion. Last week’s episode introduced a new, evil guild led by none other than Wil Wheaton.
Check out episode 3 of season 3 after the jump, entitled “Player Down”, and catch The Guild on MSN.com and other places every Tuesday.

Those who aren’t watching The Legend of Neil, the comedy web series spoofing the Legend of Zelda videogame, are absolutely missing out on a great time. The show was created and directed by Sandeep Parikh, who played Zaboo on the critically acclaimed web series The Guild, co-starring Whedon-favorite Felicia Day.
This show is about a regular screw up who gets sucked into the Zelda game and is not often confused for the main character. Antics ensue. The series originally started a year ago, then got picked up by Atom Films, a partner of Comedy Central.
The first season is out on DVD or online here, but season two seems to be where the action is. Episode 3 just went live, and it’s….a musical! The idea of an online musical seems a bit familiar, but it’s still a pretty impressive episode nonetheless. Each episode airs on Atom.com every Sunday and soon to be released on Comedy Central once the season is over.
Check out episode 3 after the jump and keep up with the NSFW comedic antics of Neil every week!

Due to last week’s craziness of San Diego Comic-Con, we regretfully weren’t able to bring you a Weblink Wednesday or Fan Film Friday. Since we’re all about fairness here at The Flickcast, we have decided to give you the best of both worlds this week with The Legend of Neil.
Created by the same team who brought us The Guild, The Legend of Neil is a web series about a regular underachiever, Neil Grimsley, who gets transformed into the world of Zelda and has to fight off all kinds of things from orcs to skeletons to gay dragons, all while pissed off and confused. The series is strictly a comedy for gamers, especially those who’ve spent many hours playing Legend of Zelda. The show has a few fun cameos along the way, including legendary fangirl and star of The Guild, Felicia Day.
Originally created as an independent series by Effin Funny, the show was later picked up by Atom Films, which had a syndication deal with Comedy Central. This means that Comedy Central owns syndication rights to Neil and may decide to change the medium to TV in the future (though there are no formal plans). Season two just kicked off on Monday, and you can check out the premier right after the jump. Be warned, the series is funny, but also NSFW.

Felicia Day will be penning a new comic based on her hit web series, The Guild for Dark Horse Comics! The Guild, written by and starring Felicia Day (Dr. Horrible, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, House) is the Winner of the 2008 Greenlight Award at SXSW as well as the 2008 YouTube Best Series and Yahoo! Best Series awards.
The show has racked up over twenty million viewers at watchtheguild.com. The Guild follows six World of Warcraft players, or “Guildies” Bladezz, Codex, Vork, Tinkerballa, Zaboo, and Clara, and their adventures both in the game and in real life.
Senior Dark Horse Editor Scott Allie came up with the idea to turn The Guild into a comic at last year’s Comic-Con. “Felicia’s amazing, and her writing will translate smoothly into comics,” Allie said. “It’ll fit great alongside our webcomics and our Whedon books.”
While the three-issue miniseries currently has no artist, Day is psyched to be on board. “The comics will be a great way for fans to become more involved with the characters, and see the characters interact in environments that we can’t afford to show in the web series,” she said. “I can’t imagine working with a better company than Dark Horse. It seems like a perfect match for the show. Indie cred to the max!”
Season 3 of The Guild comes out on Xbox, MSN, and Zune on August 25.
