Fortunately, even as some shows fail and disappear (The Cape, we’re looking at you), a few that appeal to the geeks among us still seem to hang on. Two such shows are Chuck and The Event and both have brand new episodes airing tonight.
So, to help make sure these shows continue on the air we’re glad to help spark viewer interest and bring you some previews and behind-the-scenes footage from them. First up we go to Chuck.
In this episode Chuck‘s search for new Intersects is interrupted when Castle goes offline and the Intersect candidates keep getting murdered. We hate it when that happens.
Then on The Event, Thomas’s mysterious message gets an answer while President Martinez goes after more than just Sophia. Plus, get a look at how TV shows are made with an interview with Randol Perelman-Taylor, the assistant director who works on the show.
It all begins tonight at 8/7C on NBC with Chuck. Come on geeks, let’s not let these two show go the way of others and never be seen again. Check out all the videos after the break.

It’s Monday so that means all new episodes of one of our favorite shows, Chuck, and one of our favorite new shows, The Cape. Plus, a preview of another new show, Harry’s Law, we haven’t had much time to watch yet but from what we’ve seen looks pretty good. It’s from David E. Kelly and stars Kathy Bates, so what more do you really need?
Of course, that also means we’ve got previews and other stuff to get you ready for tonight’s fun. First up on Chuck, Sarah’s old teammates return and Lou Diamond Phillips guest stars on an episode that’s sure to please fans. Oh, did we mention that Sarah’s old teammates are three hot babes who like to kick ass? Yeah.
Plus, Lou Diamond sporting a goatee for the ladies. What more could you want? Something for everyone, right?
Then, The Cape goes supernatural as an old killer threatens Orwell and the entire city. I’ll bet you can guess that The Cape doesn’t like that very much. Plus, Summer Glau is, as always, a delight. Check out some behind the scenes action for this episode.
And, finally, Harry risks disbarment when she refuses to stand up for a guilty defendant on tonight’s Harry’s Law. Oh that Harry, always getting into trouble and bucking the system. Let’s hope she doesn’t have a sledge hammer or anything. That could get messy.
All the Monday action starts at 8/7C tonight with Chuck. Check out all the previews and such after the jump.

Unlike that other network that changes the schedule for its shows at the last minute (Yes, CW, we’re talking to you) NBC seems pretty consistent when it comes to airing its own programming. So this week expect all-new episodes of Chuck, The Event, The Cape and more to air when they are scheduled to.
To get you ready for all these new shows we’ve got some promos and whatnot for them to share with you today. First up is Chuck, which has a brand new episode tonight wherein the final head-to-head clash between our hero Chuck and the evil Alexei Volkoff takes place. Who will win and what will be the fate of Chuck’s mom and his love Sarah? Find out tonight.
We’ve also got the goods on The Cape as Mena Suvari’s Dice takes center stage and tries her best to separate The Cape from his, um, cape . . . and also his head. On Harry’s Law Harry tries to exonerate an imprisoned man on tonight’s episode. She probably has a gun too and intimidates people with her folksy charm.
Finally we’ve got The Event and Ian Anthony Dale who introduces some deleted scenes from the show, featuring his character Simon Lee. These two scenes from Episode 7 are web exclusive extras that we didn’t see on air. Plus, Jason Ritter is back for another “Day in The Life” profile. In part 2, Jason shows off his knack for hair and makeup styling.
Check out all the promos after the break. Things kick off tonight at 8/7C with Chuck on NBC.

We love Chuck, you love Chuck so let’s just say we all love it and hope it runs for a long time. That said, like many shows Chuck has been off the air for the holidays. Fortunately, it returns next Monday with an all new episode.
To get you ready for the return, we’ve got a brand new preview for the episode to kick things off right. In it, we see everyone is back and things start where we left off last year. Hijinks, danger and a little sex ensue as Chuck and the gang get back to the spy business. Good fun and that Yvonne Strahovski isn’t so bad to look at either.
Click through to check out the promo. Chuck returns on Monday at 8/7C on NBC.

Rarely did I get to actually go to “The Movies” as a child. The family instead always went to what we called the “$1 show” at the cinemaplex that showed movies that had been released a few weeks or months prior. However, my parents always made an effort to get me to the latest Disney release, probably because they knew how my eyes would light up as the Disney castle formed from what I could only assume was the swelling of “When You Wish Upon a Star”.
These were always special occasions. The theater felt a little cleaner, the screen seemed slightly brighter and the sound always felt a tiny bit crisper. The chairs were comfier too. I, of course, didn’t fully realize this at eight years old, but I did know that going to the “real” theater was special. As soon as the titles began, I was glued to my seat and I attempted to not blink for the remaining duration of the film.
Being the kind of girl who didn’t understand why I couldn’t wear dresses all the time, the Disney “Princess” movies were my favorites. I would spend countless hours after school memorizing every line to Beauty and the Beast, I replaced Jasmine with Barbie as my favorite doll, and for a while every toy I had I deemed “Ariel.”

As other shows drop off the schedule (So long Undercovers and Outlaw), Chuck continues to stay on NBC’s Monday night lineup. Tonight is an all-new episode of the show, along with Chase and The Event, and we’ve got the previews for all three to get you in the mood.
First up on Chuck finds our hero has lost the ability to flash when he needs it most. Obviously this can present some problems for Chuck, but at least guest star Summer Glau is around to ease the pain (Or, increase it. We’ll see).
Then, we learn more about the attempt on the President’s life that was foiled in the pilot on tonight’s episode of The Event. President Martinez confronts Michael Buchanan desperately looking for answers and learns some very startling information. And, finally, Annie turns to one of the dangerous criminals she put away for information on tonight’s Chase.
Check out all three previews after the jump. The action, suspense and fun kicks off tonight at 8/7C with Chuck.

Hard to believe that Chuck has been on NBC’s chopping block more than once. The show was on the verge of being cancelled after both season 2 and season 3, but now it’s back and better than ever with a fourth season and even plans for a fifth. This season has already seen the likes of Dolph Lundgren, Robert Englund, and Eric Roberts. Now a former film spy is joining in the action. From NBC.
After their first real fight, Chuck (Zachary Levi) avoids confronting Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) by going on a rogue mission that leads him to his mom’s MI-6 handler, Gregory Tuttle (guest star Timothy Dalton), and a mysterious Russian agent (guest star Ana Gasteyer). Meanwhile, Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) is on her own mission to uncover the Bartowski family’s long-buried past.
We’ve got three clips from tonight’s episode, that even feature Saturday Night Live veteran Ana Gasteyer. Be sure to check them out after the jump and catch Chuck Vs. The First Fight tonight on at 8pm ET on NBC.

Well friends, the long wait is finally over as the new TV season kicks off this week with the return of many of our favorite shows. Tonight sees the season premiere of one of our favorites, Chuck, with all new episodes sure to be even more fun and exciting than the last three seasons put together. Or, at least we hope so.
To get things started right we’ve got a whole batch of previews for tonight’s premiere to share with you. Among these videos are Zach Levi’s guided tour of what to expect this season, interviews with guest stars Dolph Lundgren and Linda Hamilton and Chuck learning that’s he’s been un-fired from General Beckman. Plus, Chuck discovers that even though he’s been away, things haven’t really changed in the spy business and then he and Morgan marvel at the all-new and improved Buy More.
Looking at all these previews, it seems this season looks to be pretty exciting indeed. What will happen and how is anyone’s guess at the moment but no matter what it is you can bet we’ll be watching.
Chuck season four kicks off tonight at 8/7C on NBC. Check out all the videos after the break.

If you’ve been coming to The Flickcast for pretty much any time at all you undoubtedly know we love good TV shows. That’s why we’re excited for the return of two of our favorites next week: Chuck and Community.
Both of these shows represent what’s best about TV and excel in their given genre. From action to humor to drama to romance both of these shows deliver. So, to commemorate them returning to the air next week, we’ve got previews from both shows to share with you today.
First up is Chuck and in this video you get some details about the fourth season of the show from series stars Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski. But wait, you also get a surprise appearance by Dolph Lundgren as well so what could be better than that? Finally, Casey gets a real nemesis. Or does he?
Next up is Community which, if you’re not aware, is one of the funniest shows on TV. Go watch the episode entitled “Modern Warfare” if you don’t believe me. In the videos today we’ve got all sorts of great stuff including a Season 1 remix clip and cast outtakes. Great stuff indeed and more than enough to get you ready for next week’s premiere.
Check out all the videos after, as always, the jump. Chuck returns next Monday at 8/7C and Community on Thursday at 8/7C only on NBC.

We often bring you previews of current and upcoming TV programs and today is no exception. Some of these shows are brand new for the Fall and some, in the case of Chuck, are not new but returning and we’ve already covered them quite a bit before.
Today, we’ve got previews for The Event, Chase, Undercovers and, as I said, Chuck. For The Event Nick Wauters has three videos from his production diary which give you access to the set and series star Jason Ritter. Next up on Chase stars Kelli Giddish, Cole Hauser, Amaury Nolasco, Jesse Metcalfe and Rose Collins talk about the action-packed series.
For Undercovers we’ve got interviews with cast members Mekia Cox and Carter MacIntyre who talk about their characters and what the atmosphere is like on set. Last, but certainly not least, we’ve got a Chuck video where the cast and crew discuss the “bromance” between Chuck and his pal Morgan.
Check out all the videos after, of course, the jump. Look for all of these shows this Fall.

Yep, the one and the same Linda Hamilton that we all remember from the Terminator franchise is going to grace a geek property once again. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hamilton will be playing the long lost mother of Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Ellie (Sarah Lancaster.) Right now Hamilton’s character, Mary Bartowski, is listed as being on recurring status.
At a press conference at the San Diego Comic-Con, executive producer Josh Schwartz said that Hamilton was actually inspired by fans who wrote in online. Schwartz added that Hamilton’s character will drive a lot of the plot next season, as Chuck and Ellie search for their mom, whose identity has been a mystery throughout the show.
Hamilton will make her first appearance in the season opener, which will also feature a bit role for Olivia Munn. “Old Spice” phenom Isaiah Mustafa will also appear next season.
I can’t wait to see Hamilton in this role. What do you think?

Like Fox, NBC has announced the premiere dates for its new and returning Fall shows. Also like Fox, the network has quite a few shows we usually watch and a few we’re looking forward to seeing once they debut.
Some of the new ones we’re looking forward to include The Event, Undercovers and even Law & Order: Los Angeles. We’re also looking forward to the return of some many great shows like Community, 30 Rock and Chuck.
With so much to offer it’s going to be hard to choose priorities on our DVR. Good thing we have at least two of them. Check out the full list of shows and their premiere dates after the break.
