This week on The Flickcast Chris and Matt take on a whole bunch of new topics. Some of these include the box office success and relative merit of movies like The American, Machete and Takers as well as new trailers for films like Let Me In and Hobo with a Shotgun.

They also discussed more Expendables 2 and X-Men 4 rumors, casting news and all manner of other showbiz-related topics. Plus, the boys talked all-things Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Chris and Matt also made some pics this week including Matt’s pick of the game Dead Rising 2: Case Zero and Chris’ pick of the campy yet fun Machete.

Chris, Matt and Elisabeth also made some cool picks this week including Elisabeth’s pick of the Spanish thriller Alatriste, Matt’s pick of the Sly Stallone starrer Daylight and Chris’ pick of the Stanley Kubrick classic Dr. Strangelove, featuring George C. Of all the new releases, we’re particularly interested in the Blu-ray versions of movies and TV shows such as Michael Mann’s awesome film Heat (shown above with Robert De Nero and Val Kilmer), Logan’s Run, Up, Monsters, Inc. and the Watchmen “Ultimate” Cut. Plus, there’s the second volume of Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming out this week as well.
