‘Chuck’ Returns Tonight And We’ve Got A Preview

by Chris Ullrich, Mar 1 2010 // 8:00 AM

Even though today is Monday and nobody really likes Monday, at least one good thing is happening tonight: Chuck returns with a brand new episode. After some time off, everyone’s favorite reluctant yet determined spy returns and we’ve got the promo video to prove it.

But wait, that’s not all. The video is not just a promo for tonight’s episode, it also gives us a lot of stuff about what we can expect from the second half of season 3. This includes guns, explosions, back flips, romance, action and, apparently, teeth pulling. Yeah, I don’t quite get that last one either.

Still, with Chuck being one of the few “geek” shows left on the air, it’s nice to see it coming back strong for the rest of the season. Hopefully, things will continue to go well for the show and we’ll get a season 4.

Check out the video after the break. Chuck airs tonight at 8/7 C on NBC.

What’s On Tonight: ‘Chuck’ and ‘Heroes’

by Joe Gillis, Feb 1 2010 // 4:00 PM

It’s Monday so that means new episodes of Chuck and Heroes tonight. For Chuck, it’s another great episode where he further demonstrates his prowess as a new spy. Also, he and Sarah have to think quickly to protect one of their assets.

On Heroes, we’re getting closer to the final confrontation and things are really heating up. On tonight’s show you’ll see Samuel continue to execute his plan now that he’s captured Noah. Also, we’ve got a couple behind-the-scenes clips for you as well as you get to know more about your favorite Heroes actors. Good times.

Check out all the videos, as always, after the jump. Be sure to watch full episodes of both shows starting tonight at 8/7C on NBC.

Four New Clips From Next Week’s ‘Chuck’

by Matt Raub, Jan 15 2010 // 3:00 PM

NUP_136821_0243Chuck may have been on the bubble last season, but it seems to be doing beyond well with the first three episodes airing last week on NBC. This week, things seem to be heating up for the gang, as Captain Awesome gets mistaken for a CIA agent and kidnapped. From NBC:

When Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) is mistaken for a super spy by the evil Sydney Price (guest star Angie Harmon), Chuck (Zachary Levi) must become his handler and show him the spy ropes. While on a mission for The Ring, they meet the mysterious Daniel Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh).

Meanwhile, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) gets promoted to assistant manager and must deal with Jeff (Scott Krinsky) and Lester’s (Vik Sahay) latest hijinks. Sarah Lancaster and Mark Christopher Lawrence also star.

That’s right, this week gets not one-but two separate guest stars; Angie Harmon and Brandon Routh. Check out four new clips from the upcoming “Chuck Versus Operation Awesome” episode, airing on NBC next Monday at 8/7C.

New ‘Chuck Season’ 3 Preview Video Features Epic Kung-Fu Fighting!

by Cortney Zamm, Nov 27 2009 // 10:00 AM

chuck-newEarlier this week we showed you some new promos for Chuck, which will be starting its third season in early 2010. As Turkey Day is now here we also bring you a brand new behind the scenes look at the new season to feast upon, featuring Chuck’s escapades as he dances, judo chops, and sings his way to keeping the Intersect safe.

Season 2 of Chuck ended on a huge cliffhanger, so it’s very exciting to have it renewed. However, NBC has decided to only order 19 episodes due to low ratings last year. We can only hope it won’t follow in the footsteps of Dollhouse, another small but favorite that was recently canceled.

Chuck will begin its next season on January 10 with two back to back episodes. Proceed with caution, as if you haven’t finished the last season of Chuck, this video will contain massive spoilers! You can watch it after the jump.

‘Chuck’ Returns January 10 With Two Hour Premiere

by Chris Ullrich, Nov 20 2009 // 7:00 AM

chuck_s3Well, if you’re a fan of NBC’s Chuck, as we certainly are here at The Flickcast, then this news will make you very happy indeed. In spite of its previously uncertain future, it seems NBC has finally decided to give the show more love and has officially announced its premiere date. Chuck will return on January 10, 2010 with a two-hour premiere episode and then move to its regular time, Mondays at 8/7C on January 11.

To commemorate this special event (Hey, we think its special) our friends at NBC have sent us a video featuring series star Zach Levi talking about season 3 and offering a sneak peek at all the action, suspense, romance and cool guest stars. Who might some of those cool guest stars be, you may wonder? Glad you asked.

Actors making appearances on the show this season include Angie Harmon as Sydney, an enemy operative; Brandon Routh as CIA Agent Daniel Shaw; Robert Patrick as Colonel Keller, a soldier and spy from Casey’s past and Kristin Kreuk as Hannah, a potential love interest for Chuck.

Also, Armand Assante guest stars as dictator Premier Goya, who is the target of an assassin; Steve Austin will play Hugo Panzer, who becomes entangled in Chuck’s first solo mission and Vinnie Jones will play Carl Stromberg, an arms dealer.

Of course, also returning for the season are series regulars Colonel John Casey (Adam Baldwin) and Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski), Joshua Gomez as Morgan Grimes, Sarah Lancaster as Chuck’s sister Ellie and Ryan McPartlin as “Captain Awesome.” Now that sound great, doesn’t it? Check out the video after the jump and be sure to catch all new episodes of Chuck in January.

SDCC: Interview With Zach Levi and Joshua Gomez of ‘Chuck’

by Matt Raub, Jul 25 2009 // 1:35 PM

zach-levi-josh-gomezOf the 2007-2008 season, there were plenty of shows that got the axe. One show was able to hold together and develop enough of a fanbase to earn itself not only a second, but a third season. That show is NBC’s Chuck, of course, and we were fortunate enough to get a few minutes with stars Zachary Levi (Chuck) and Joshua Gomez (Morgan) here at San Diego Comic-Con.

Of the things we talked about, the two mentioned the direction of season 3, the overwhelming fan reception, and the “bromance” between Chuck and Morgan. Be sure to stay with us this weekend, as we bring more exclusive interviews straight to you.

Check out the interview after the jump!
