That’s right, it’s time for an all-new episode of The Flickcast! Finally. We had some issues this week. What are you gonna do? At least it’s out now, so enjoy!
On this week’s show Chris and Joe get down to the end. Well, the end of a couple TV shows anyway with the season finales of The Last Ship and the much-discussed Mr. Robot. There’s also some talk about the new The Force Awakens teaser, Star Wars in general, the need for more Batman in the next Superman movie, the genius of Jack Kirby and a whole lot more.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the book Kirby: King of Comics
and Joe’s pick of the new album from the band Spock’s Beard.

It’s time for an all-new episode of The Flickcast! And it’s even on time. Yes, we’re excited too.
On this week’s show Chris and Joe discuss all sorts of new and recurring topics, like they always do. Some of these topics include developments at the recent D23 Disney show in Anaheim, Star Wars theme parks, Colin Trevorrow directing a Star Wars movie, more Marvel stuff including Captain America: Civil War and Doctor Strange, Mr. Robot, a potential cameo appearance in an upcoming Star Wars movie by Darth Vader himself and a whole lot more, more more.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of The End of All Things, the latest novel by John Scalzi, and Joe’s pick of Kyle Baker’s graphic novel Why I Hate Saturn.

The other day when interviewed by a Chicago reporter from WGN9 at a ceremony for *Michigan Avenue* magazine, Harrison Ford was asked about the rumors of the “old gang” getting back together for the next Star Wars. Ford hesitantly replied, “I think it’s almost true. I think… I’m looking forward to it. It’s not in the bag yet, but I think it’s happening.” When listening to Ford, you can tell there’s more that he knows than he is allowed to say and until all the I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed, he probably isn’t going to be saying more.
Ford. Hamill. Fischer. All on screen together again. It really is a Star Wars fan’s dream come true. But that begs the question, what is going to happen in the new films featuring these main characters from the original trilogy?
