OK, so maybe not the first time, but this video from the folks at Dogfood Films is pretty hilarious. Already going viral, the video uses the hilariously awkward video of Harrison Ford playing Uncharted 3 in his lofty living room and splices in scenes from the first (and best) three Indiana Jones films.
Sure, we have to believe that Ford has seen all of these films at least a few times, but the reactions he has to some of the timeless scenes, especially the epic cringe that he pulls off while watching Temple of Doom are pretty hilarious.
Dogfood Films have been known for doing a few other film mashups, such as How Jingle All the Way Should Have Been and a few others. It just goes to show that, if you’ve got the time, and you can obtain the footage, there is absolutely no limit to the things that can be drawn out for us to laugh at on YouTube.
Take a look at the video after the jump and check out Dogfood’s channel for more goodies.

It’s never a good sign when a film gets pushed back over 6 months. It’s even worse when a studio like Paramount pushes 3 of their upcoming 2012 films back. That seems to be the case, as the mountainous studio has pushed back 3 of its releases. One of these releases is the upcoming 3D epic Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton.
According to an interview with Deadline, a studio exec for Paramount says this is all part of the plan to push the film overseas, but when a film gets pushed from March 2 to January 11 of the following year, it’s never a good sign.
“This should really set up the international,” a studio exec explains to me. ”Jeremy Renner’s international profile should be in great shape after being in Mission: Impossible 4 now, then The Avengers in May, then The Bourne Legacy in August. As this past weekend shows, January is great play time internationally, and we haven’t done too bad domestically in January, either.”

For those who immediately tuned out the news about the 2012 Academy Awards after they heard that “retired” host Billy Crystal would be dusting off his tuxedo to get back up on stage, they had no idea what extents the Academy would go to in order to make you think that this isn’t your mom and dad’s Oscar show.
That’s why they pulled out the stops and collaborated with Funny or Die to put together this epic movie-style trailer featuring the likes of Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, Josh Duhamel, Megan Fox, William Fichtner and Vinnie Jones.
That’s right. Some pretty big star power. And if that isn’t enough for you to get into the Oscar mood, the team has also put together a pretty extensive YouTube channel, with some of the best monologues, acceptance speeches, and overall best moments.
Take a look at the epic trailer after the jump and be sure to tune in to what should be an entertaining Oscars on February 26th, only on ABC.

Books are coming back in a huge way lately. I can remember being in school when Hollywood was having an outreach for kids to “read more.” now it seems like Hollywood can’t get kids to stop reading and loving books, to the point where just about every big book franchise is getting adapted into a movie.
Twilight, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and now Orson Scott Card’s epic series, Ender’s Game is getting the Hollywood treatment.
Movement on the project is picking up quickly, as critically acclaimed actor Ben Kinglsey is joining an already stellar cast. From THR:
Hugo actor Asa Butterfield and Hailee Steinfeld are starring in the pic, set in a future where the Earth is under attack by an insect-like race and mankind has created a battle school to train fighting forces.

That’s right. You heard it here last. It seems that the newest film featuring our favorite Henson classics The Muppets is yet another “plan for the left to bad mouth affluent businessmen” as the film’s main antagonist is an evil oil baron.
According to a report (yes, they felt the need to do an entire segment on this) from Fox Business, Jason Segal’s Muppet film is guilty of negatively portraying a simple business owner in the form of Chris Cooper’s “Tex Richman”, an evil baron who’s set on destroying the Muppet studios to drill for oil.
The fact that Fox, or anyone for that matter, would think that it’s news that The Muppets, a creation of Jim Henson, is just now taking aim at the aptly labeled 1%, is just preposterous.
Note that the news report barely mentions the existence of Statler and Woldof, who were doing the “old, rich, white antagonist” act before this reporter was able to walk. Take a look at the downfall of modern journalism in true form after the jump, and catch The Muppets in theaters now, or the oil barons of the world win.

There’s an old saying that goes something like “don’t fix something if it isn’t broken”. The people that manage Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s career obviously know this saying very well. When he broke the bank in Disney’s The Game Plan, they thought it may be a good idea to use him in a reboot of the classic Escape from Witch Mountain film.
That movie raked in millions as well, so what’s next? How about a sequel to a film from only a few years ago that was so bad, it forced Brendan Fraser out of the acting game completely. That’s where Journey 2: The Mysterious Island comes into play. Here’s the Rock-centered premise.
Young adventurer Sean (Josh Hutcherson) receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist–a place of strange life forms, mountains of gold, deadly volcanoes, and more than one astonishing secret. Unable to stop him from going, Sean’s new stepfather (Johnson) joins the quest. Together with a helicopter pilot (Guzman( and his beautiful, strong-willed daughter (Vanessa Hudgens), they set out to find the island, rescue its lone inhabitant (Caine) and escape before seismic shock waves force the island under the sea and bury its treasures forever.
Can this franchise be saved by Dwayne’s comedic charm? Or will this fall under the umbrella of “bad ideas” that New Line has masterminded over the past years? Decide for yourself after the jump with the first trailer. Journey 2 hits theaters February 10th.

Last Sunday, Adult Swim premiered their newest foray into the realm of live action spoofs: The Heart, She Holler. Consider it Twin Peaks meets Passions with loads of incest and moments you can’t forget if you tried.
We got the chance to speak with the series’ star, Patton Oswalt, about the insanity of the show on Friday, and even he couldn’t do it justice with a description. Now, we’ve got the mastermind behind the show, Vernon Chatman, to shed some light on the its origin. Let’s see if he can do a better job.
Chatman is best known for some of the weirdest and funniest television of the past few years like Wonder Showzen, Xavier: Renegade Angel, and even doing tons of work (not to mention being the voice of “Towlie”) for South Park.
After the jump, check out what Chatman had to say about The Heart, She Holler, and catch the miniseries airing every night this week, and repeating every night after Sunday at 12:45pm, only on Adult Swim.

Those who grew up in the 80s remember the classic pro-earth propaganda cartoon series Captain Planet and the Planeteers fondly. Whether it was living through the Planeteer that you related to the most, or just being a huge fan of a superhero that turned grime into healthy plants, the show was a nostalgic hit.
Most recently, there have been more and more rumblings that a live-action film based on the adventures of Captain Planet and how he would clean up our current society in their polluted, disrespectful ways.
We’re a few years away from seeing anything happen with this film, but that hasn’t stopped world-renowned actor Don Cheadle from putting together a web short in which he shows how he’d play the character. Here’s a hint, it’s not as campy as it was 20 years ago.
Check out the Funny or Die short after the jump, and see if you can find some pretty cool cameos in the video as well (perhaps a Community student and friend of Napoleon Dynamite?). Let’s hope that the studio sees this and takes Cheadle’s take on the hero to heart.

Just when you thought FX’s hit comedy about a group of guys and their fantasy football league couldn’t get any more uproarious and funny, they’re adding one of the bigger names in comedy today to the mix for the season 3 premiere, as Seth Rogen gets cast as the infamous Dirty Randy.
The character is pretty famous to those who watch the show, and we’re finally getting a face to the name this season. TV Guide has the full scoop.
Creators and executive producers Jackie and Jeff Schaffer promised fans last year that they would reveal the oft-mentioned, but never-seen friend of Rafic(Jason Mantzoukas)if the comedy was picked up for a third season.
“As the legend of Dirty Randy grew among our fans — is that Dirty Randy? Is that a shot of Dirty Randy? — we realized we really have to step up here,” Jeff Schaffer told TVGuide.com Saturday. “We started talking about who the funniest people we know who aren’t on the show already, and [Rogen] was at the top of the list.”

It goes without saying that NBC’s Americanized verison of The Office has been a smash hit since its debut in 2005. It did have a bit of a rocky start as some fans panned the show for being a cheap knockoff of Ricky Gervais’ UK original. Later, the show earned its wings and became a staple in current American comedies.
While the shows gone on to create its own identity, Gervais has slowly made his way into the hearts of American TV viewers everywhere. So it only makes sense to have Gervais’ Office character David Brent meet Steve Carell’s Michael Scott.
That’s exactly what happened in last night’s episode of The Office, as the shows cold open included a meeting of stars between Carell and Gervais and we have that clip just for YOU!
Check it out after the jump, and catch the rest of The Office season 7 every Thursday night on NBC.
