With so much on the Internets these days, there are plenty of web series that get lost in the fray. Whether due to poor writing, bad directing, sub-par acting or whatever, many just don’t catch on. Some, however, do manage to catch the public eye. One of those few that do is The Legend of Neil.
The online sitcom comes from Sandeep Parikh, who fans of the genre may remember as “Zaboo” from the insanely popular web series The Guild. Fans of Guild will be happy to know that Felicia Day has a recurring role on the show as well, and this series even had a musical episode last season.
What is Legend of Neil? Well, if a drunk in his late 20′s got sucked into a game of Legend of Zelda and realizes exactly how ridiculous the entire concept is, that pretty much describes the show. There’s plenty of humor for video game fans, or even just fans of swearing.
Check out the all new teaser trailer for season 3, which premieres on July 24th just in time for Comic-Con, after the jump.

Those who aren’t watching The Legend of Neil, the comedy web series spoofing the Legend of Zelda videogame, are absolutely missing out on a great time. The show was created and directed by Sandeep Parikh, who played Zaboo on the critically acclaimed web series The Guild, co-starring Whedon-favorite Felicia Day.
This show is about a regular screw up who gets sucked into the Zelda game and is not often confused for the main character. Antics ensue. The series originally started a year ago, then got picked up by Atom Films, a partner of Comedy Central.
The first season is out on DVD or online here, but season two seems to be where the action is. Episode 3 just went live, and it’s….a musical! The idea of an online musical seems a bit familiar, but it’s still a pretty impressive episode nonetheless. Each episode airs on Atom.com every Sunday and soon to be released on Comedy Central once the season is over.
Check out episode 3 after the jump and keep up with the NSFW comedic antics of Neil every week!

Its not like this should be a surprise to anyone. After all, Olivia Munn is a self-professed Star Wars nerd and often makes her fans extremely happy by dressing as their favorite Star Wars princess — complete with slave outfit. Example on the right.
So it makes perfect sense that she would want to utilize her Star Wars knowledge and also her creative abilities in a new way. And what better way then by producing and starring in some cool new Star Wars fan films? I can’t think of a better way and apparently, Olivia agrees because she just signed a deal with Atom.com to produce and star in fan films exactly like we are talking about.
Want to know more? Of course you do. Fortunately, here’s all the info from the official Atom.com press release:
