Twitter Giveaway: Rock Band 3 ‘Bon Jovi’s Greatest Hits Pack’ DLC Codes

by John Carle, Nov 22 2010 // 9:00 AM

A few weeks ago, we reviewed Rock Band 3, letting you all know it still holds the title for the best party band game by far.  One of our reasons for this is because of the ever expanding library of music constantly being added to it. Now, we mentioned we are going to be having a live event in Connecticut with some Rock Band 3 prizes coming up in December but until then we have some awesome DLC codes to give away for any Rock Band 3 owners over our twitter.

With the help of Harmonix’s own @HMXhenry we have acquired four codes to giveaway Bon Jovi’s Greatest Hits packs for the XBox 360. The packs include three revamped Rock Band 3 pro guitar versions of “Livin’ on a Prayer”, “You Give Love a Bad Name” and “Wanted Dead or Alive” in addition to nine new songs never before seen in the Rock Band series.

Check out the full list, and get the giveaway times after the jump.

Bon Jovi Stops By With Advice In 2 New ’30 Rock’ Clips

by Joe Gillis, Feb 11 2010 // 9:00 AM

All week long, we’ve been giving you a sneak peek at some of tonight’s big comedies on NBC, such as Community and The Office. We’re topping that off today with two hot new clips from tonight’s episode of 30 Rock. From NBC:

To avoid feeling lonely on Valentine’s Day, Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) schedules a root canal but soon realizes she hasn’t thought it through. Meanwhile, Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) woos an attractive and successful CNBC host, Avery Jessup (guest star Elizabeth Banks), and Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski) is disappointed when her creepy stalker loses interest.

Yes, Valentine’s Day seems to be the running motif in tonight’s programming. This may not be the worst thing in the world for those out there without someone to spend it with, because it gives us something to laugh at, which helps.

Check out the newest clips from the “Anna Howard Shaw Day” episode of 30 Rock, and catch it in its entirety tonight on NBC.

Final Trailer For ‘LEGO Rock Band’

by Matt Raub, Oct 26 2009 // 1:15 PM

LRB_X360_2D_fWe’re all pretty excited for the release of LEGO Rock Band around The Flickcast offices. We’ve brought you plenty of coverage of the game, including a brand new Queen video, and even the complete track list to get your mouth watering. We’re now bringing you something even better, as the full trailer has just been released.

The game will do all the things Rock Band fans have come to crave in a game, from singing to rocking out electric base. One of the newest features is the aesthetic look of the LEGO people and surroundings. You can create full bands to use on tours, which are all about as customizable as the LEGO people you used to play with as a kid.

The trailer shows off four of the exclusive tracks that can be found on the game, including Bon Jovi’s “You Give Love a Bad Name”, Counting Crows’ “Accidentally in Love”, Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’”, and Europe’s “Final Countdown”. Check out the trailer after the jump, and be sure to grab LEGO Rock Band from your local video game store on November 3rd!

Three New Clips From Tonight’s ‘Glee’

by Matt Raub, Oct 7 2009 // 12:30 PM

106Glee-ep106_scA25_7726At The Flickcast, we’ve made it pretty clear how much we enjoy the new FOX series Glee. It manages to incorporate all the things people love about karaoke, Friends, and any after-school special. On top of that, each episode seems to only get better, with each of that night’s songs breaking iTunes’ top 20 list instantly.

In tonight’s episode, “Vitamin D”, things seem to heat up for the adults. From a FOX press release:

In this week’s episode, Will (Matthew Morrison) challenges the kids to a healthy dose of competition with boys against girls in a mash-up showdown. Meanwhile, Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig) takes a job as the school nurse, despite having no medical experience, to keep an eye on her husband.

After the break, check out three brand new clips from tonight’s show, including one where Will sets up the boys vs. girls mash-up competition. This spawns tonight’s songs from Beyonce and Katrina and the Waves’ “Halo vs. Walkin’ on Sunshine” and Bon Jovi and Usher’s “It’s My Life vs. Confessions Part II.”

Watch Glee tonight at 9PM on FOX.
