It’s been denied by everyone. It’s been speculated about and rumored. Oncers have been yanked around for months but finally there’s an answer. The Once Upon a Time Alice in Wonderland spinoff is real and we’ve got the trailer and pictures to prove it.
Written by Once creator Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland begins with Alice (Sophie Lowe) recounting her adventure in the strange new land she discovered through the rabbit hole and with the mysterious genie, Cyrus (Peter Gadiot) with whom she in love.
Alice’s doctors and her father think she’s gone insane but before they can give her a treatment to take away all of her memories she’s saved by the Knave of Hearts (Michael Socha) and the White Rabbit (John Lithgow). They tell her Cyrus, who she thought to be dead, is alive. Together they return to the incredible and impossible Wonderland to seek him and new adventures.
Wonderland also stars Emma Rigby as the Queen of Hearts. Fans of Once will know that Regina’s mother Cora was the Queen of Hearts in that show’s brief visits to Wonderland. How then will Riby’s Queen factor in? Is this a sign that Wonderland and Once won’t necessarily have the same mythology?

It’s been about four years since we last saw William “B.J.” Blazkowicz take the fight to the filthy Nazi forces in Wolfenstein. Finally yesterday though, it was announced that B.J. would be making his return in the next installment of Wolfenstein entitled Wolfenstein: The New Order.
From what we’ve been able to find out so far, Wolfenstein: The New Order takes place years after the events of the last Wolfenstein. Although B.J. accomplished his mission, something happened as he was hidden away and he has a new regime to deal with. While some Wolfenstein games have at least started more reality based, Wolfenstein: The New Order is taking the Go Big or Go Home approach right at the start. Gigantic robots with lots of weaponry look to block B.J.’s way.

In the early days of the series, it was a challenge to talk about Saints Row without it being compared to Grand Theft Auto. They were both open sandbox worlds with a criminal undertone. But, the most recent iterations have separated the two with Grand Theft Auto being more realistic with its gritty drama while Saints Row took the over the top and ridiculous path that has become the signature appeal of the series. While in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas you were able to attack someone using a sex toy, Saints Row The Third blew that toy up to the massive proportions of a floppy baseball bat to bludgeon foes to death with.
This past weekend, it was announced by Volition and Deep Silver (who purchased the studio from the THQ auction) that Saints Row IV is indeed coming and it will actually be out before Grand Theft Auto V. With Grand Theft Auto V being delayed until September (being the last major game release before the next generation of consoles presumably), Volition and Deep Silver have slid in a few weeks early and announced their game would be coming out on August 23rd.

Imagine a gaming world that doesn’t end with the edge of your television. Think about what’d be like if the edge of your TV was only the beginning and the world continued around you. Sounds like the stuff of sci-fi that you remember reading about in Fahrenheit 451, right? Well the team at Microsoft is trying to bring this fiction to reality.
At CES yesterday, Microsoft revealed its concept behind Illumiroom. Self described as “Peripheral Projected Illusions for Interactive Experiences”, Illumiroom looks to change the way players experience gaming by transforming the room around them to match watch appears on screen. Using the Kinect and a projector, the system scans the room and projects images in ratio and aspect to what is going on on-screen. Field of vision is extended as well as the motion of objects on screen. The unique design and geometry of every room is taken into effect to not just appear as a prerendered design but one manipulated and created in real time.

Of all places to see the latest trailer for Guillermo Del Toro’s latest Pacific Rim, most people wouldn’t expect the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. But, low and behold, that’s where it came from. Much like the trailer explains that everyone looked to the skies for aliens only to find them underwater, this trailer surprised everyone when it was premiered at an electronics show, of all places.
There isn’t much explanation needed for Pacific Rim. The premise is simple but still something that if you are a fan of The Flickcast you’ll most likely love. Giant robots versus giant monsters. There’s a reason that certain film franchises are still so beloved over a half a century old that people keep revisiting them. People like big monsters and if they aren’t fighting other big monsters, people want to see big robots kicking their butts.

Yes, the first G.I. Joe was pretty to look at, but dumb. Much like its star. Of course, even if it was not everything it could have been, the gang at Paramount must be an optimistic bunch and so, there’s a sequel on the way.
This time the movie is called G.I. Joe: Retaliation and it stars Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis and Jonathan Pryce in a story featuring COBRA’s infiltration of the U.S. Government and the Joes saving the day.
It’s directed by John M. Chu and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Those are some pretty accomplished people, maybe this won’t be as bad as we think? Maybe.
At any rate, there’s a new trailer for the movie for you to check out. Look for the movie itself to arrive on March 29, 2013.
Check out the trailer after the break.

If there one thing that Activision has mastered it is knowing how to hype up their Call of Duty franchise releases. Whether it has been pairing with Eminem for an E3 concert or huge advertising budgets, each year they make the franchise bigger and bigger With just two weeks to go, Activision and Treyarch kick things up one more time with the Live Action Trailer follow up to Jonah Hill pushing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 from last year.
In the “Surprise” Trailer below, there is an interesting combination of celebrity cameos combined with various gameplay mechanics to help push Call of Duty: Black Ops II. While we will let you catch the cameos on your own, we will let you know that the air strike, the tank combat mechs and even the horse all make their way into the trailer. For the first time too, the Zombie mode gets a spotlight in the trailer as well. Director Guy Ritchie brings together everyone from Hollywood A-Listers to internet sensations together for this trailer.

If you were playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, chances are you may have became a member of Call of Duty Elite. For a fee, you were able to access Call of Duty Elite and first dibs on all of the Call of Duty content drops. With Call of Duty: Black Ops II upon us in less than a month (check out the release trailer here), the question has been, “What will happen to Call of Duty Elite”? When the various SKUs were announced for Black Ops II were announced, there was no mention of Elite membership as one of the advantages to purchasing the higher end SKUs. And now, we know why.
Call of Duty Elite is coming to all Black Ops II players for free. Now before everyone who paid for the first year of Call of Duty Elite gets up in arms because they paid for membership, take notice that it isn’t the same as it was a year ago. In the video trailer below which discusses Elite’s membership benefits below, notice the one most important (and most expensive feature) is no longer included in this second season of CoD Elite. The Content Drops. When you look back at the cost of Call of Duty Elite and how it related to Modern Warfare 3, it was the content drops that made up for the charges from Elite membership.

There are two known facts about The Flickcast’s gaming division (a.k.a. the Bitcast):
1. WallE and I love video games.
2. WallE and I cannot wait until Wreck-It Ralph hits theaters.
So it only makes sense that we would be following the news on the Wreck-It Ralph tie-in video game. Now while we all know that movie tie-in games run a high risk of not living up to expectations for the film, or for games in general, there is a shed of hope for Wreck-It Ralph. After all, it is a game… based off a movie… that is based off of gaming. What could possibly go wrong? Well, don’t answer that as we have seen many a project that should have been a layup go wrong.
In the new teaser trailer, we take a quick look at Wreck-It Ralph but don’t get the opportunity to see his gameplay so that is what leads us to speculate. What is Wreck-It Ralph going to be like? Players have already been given the opportunity to play browser based versions of Hero’s Duty and Sugar Rush on the Wreck-It Ralph movie site as well as a Fix-It Felix iOS game.

Despite what the weather might indicate around most of the country right now, we are knee-deep into October, the month where all the things that go bump in the night get their time to shine. Most people are probably well aware of some of the bigger horror releases taking advantage of this time of year, but there are other independent features that are hitting select theaters soon that your horror fans might want to know about.
One such upcoming film is The Cohasset Snuff film from up and coming filmmaker Edward Payson. For those who have no idea what this film is yet, lets begin with a synopsis:
In 2009, the small town of Cohasset, Massachusetts was rocked with tragedy. A 17-year-old high school senior named Collin Mason murdered three classmates. All the murders were videotaped and uploaded to the Internet via bit torrent sites and for three days, the world viewed the murders of these three innocent teens.
Through legal action, the parents of the victims were able to remove all footage from the Internet and the town tried to save face by pretending it never happened. Bootleg copies of this footage are still passed around and downloaded through illegal means. The impact of this video is still being felt in Cohasset today. The video has become infamous, and is now referred to as The Cohasset Snuff Film.
It seems an easy leap to take the found footage sub-genre and focus on an infamous snuff film. Hopefully this will work to the film’s advantage as it can heighten the voyeuristic qualities of found footage and could really play with the audience’s sense of morality as they are entertained by horrific acts on-screen.
Check out an exclusive clip, the trailer and more after the jump.

Right about now, it seems like there are a few companies that have been given the license to print money. LucasArts, the men holding the rights to all things Star Wars, and Rovio, the creators of the Angry Birds franchise, are two such companies. You can’t go into a mall in America and not see something Star Wars or Angry Birds in your line of site. Imagine the power if the two were to team up. Well, on November 8th, we will get to see what that’s like with Angry Birds Star Wars.
Below, catch the teaser trailer which shows a shrouded bird holding a very special lightsaber in what is sure to be one of the fastest selling apps on iOS and the Android marketplace as soon as it launches. This will be the second time Angry Birds will tie in with another franchise, after the success of Angry Birds Rio (which was actually a logical fit considering the movie was all about birds). Instead of just adding a new set of levels though, Angry Birds Star Wars will be getting what appears to be a visual makeover like we have seen with Angry Birds Space with some teaser images of a Obi-Wan black bird, Luke Skywalker red bird or the big Chewbacca bird.
Look for the game to arrive on November 8th. Check out a trailer for it after the break.

Before you get too excited, no this isn’t a story about an X-Men movie featuring the character Gambit and starring Colin Firth as Professor X. Sorry. It is, however, a story about a remake of a 1966 movie starring Michael Cain and Shirley McLaine. And yes, Michael Cain played Alfred in the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy.
See, we can bring it home and find a hook for our audience. That’s you, btw. Plus, as a bonus, this remake also stars Alan Rickman, who played Snape in the Harry Potter films. Boom!
Anyway, enough of that. There’s a trailer out for the remake, which was written by the Coen brothers (not just the trailer, the whole movie in fact), and it features, along with Alan Rickman, Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz.
The film? It’s about a terrible man (Rickman) and his long-suffering assistant (Firth) who finally snaps and hatches a scheme to sell his boss a fake painting and steal the cash when he sells the real one. He attempts this with the help of a country bumpkin (Diaz) who also has scemes of her own. Don’t they all?
Look for Gambit in theaters November 21st. Check out the trailer after the break.

Since the announcement of the Hardened Edition and Care Package Edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, one would think there isn’t much left to tease people with before its November 13th release, right? Well, if you agreed, then you’d be wrong. Since this year’s release is a Treyarch title, that means Zombie mode will be returning. Zombie mode has earned a mass following of its own, being released on mobile devices as well as earning its own DLC expansions including an appearance from zombie mastermind George A. Romero.
This year, Activision isn’t just teasing us with a zombie trailer. No. They are teasing us with a teaser trailer FOR the zombie trailer. In the trailer below you’ll see a creepy, boarded up bus pull up to a station and open its doors before revealing the trailer’s release date of September 26th. After that, there are a few brief shots of zombies in action.
But what can we speculate from this trailer?
