It’s time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it’s Episode 433: The Mind’s Eye.
On this week’s episode called, once again, The Mind’s Eye (you’ll get it), Chris and Joe dive into a slew of new and recurring topics such as the recent trailer for F9, Star Wars fandom, amazing shows like Ted Lasso, Mythic Quest and For All Mankind and Episode 5 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. They also get a bit serious and talk about the current state of internet outrage, a bit of politics and something that will likely be pretty controversial: how cop show are dealing with real world events.
We promise not to bring the “real world” into things too often. But sometimes it happens, so bear with us. Oh, this is another kinda long episode too, but you can’t blame Chris this time either. It’s all Joe’s fault again.
If you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts. Every rating and review helps. And if you’re really feeling it, consider supporting the show on Patreon.
Thanks for listening!
WARNING: This episode may contain discussions about COVID-19, mental health, quarantine and other real-world issues. We understand not everyone is in a place to talk about or hear discussions surrounding these issues. We completely understand. Please do what’s best for you. Stay safe everyone.

It’s time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it’s Episode 432: Blood on the Shield.
On this episode Chris and Joe dive into a slew of new and recurring topics such as TV shows and movies they loved growing up like Wiseguy and The Equalizer as well as movies like Crimson Tide and The Hunt for Red October. They also get deep into Episode 4 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and its “controversial” ending, how great a series showcasing the formative years of Snake Plissken would be, separating the art from the artist, overrated movies like American Beauty and a whole lot more.
This is another long episode, but you can’t blame Chris this time. It’s all Joe’s fault. All of it.
If you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts. Every rating and review helps. And if you’re really feeling it, consider supporting the show on Patreon.

It’s time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it’s Episode 431: Godzilla vs. The Flickcast.
Yes, we know, Godzilla vs. The Flickcast is a pretty cool name for an episode. We get that. Thanks.
On this episode Chris and Joe dive into a slew of new and recurring topics such as the amazing Godzilla vs. King Kong, Episode 3 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, their personal theories on who the “Power Broker” is and how the show will end and a wee bit more on Justice League and other Marvel movies coming soon.
They also talk about a bunch of other stuff, but it’s mostly apes punching lizards this week.
Of course, since Chris is back again, this episode runs a bit long. Again, what can we do? It is his show. Also . . .
If you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts. Every rating and review helps. And if you’re really feeling it, consider supporting the show on Patreon.
Thanks for listening!

On this episode Chris is back from his “vacation” and ready to get to work. He and Joe dive into a slew of new and recurring topics such as a bit more about Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Episode 2 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the new trailer for The Suicide Squad, the importance of the COVID vaccine and, of course, the “Big Three.” They also talk about a bunch of other stuff, but those are the main ones this week.
Of course, since Chris is back, this episode runs a bit longer than last week. What can we do? It’s kinda his show. Anyway . . .

This week it’s Episode 429: In the Snyder Cut.
Chris is off this week (shocking, right?) so Joe welcomes “friend of the show” and Digital Trends Contributing Editor Rick Marshall to take on the task of discussing a whole bunch or new and recurring topics. Ah, who are we kidding, this show is about one big thing. Or, in this case, one long thing. Also, it’s about one “new” thing.
That’s right, it’s finally time to get in the Snyder Cut of Justice League now that it’s been released to HBO Max. So, do they love it? Do they hate it? Does anyone give a shit at this point? You’ll have to listen and find out. You can also check out Rick’s spoiler-free review over at Digital Trends.
Joe and Rick also talk a bit about Falcon and the Winter Soldier too. So if you’re into that show, you’ll want to listen. And don’t worry, Chris will be back next week to probably talk about all this stuff again. He hates to be left out.
Don’t forget, if you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts. Every rating or review helps. And if you’re really feeling it, consider supporting the show on Patreon.
Thanks for listening!

It’s time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it’s Episode 427: Moving On.
On this episode Chris and Joe are back discussing a bunch of new and recurring topics, as they often do. Some of these include a bit more about the finale of WandaVision, upcoming Marvel/Disney+ series including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, further managing of expectations, where the MCU goes from here, the “Snyder Cut”, audio books and a whole lot more.
Once again, this latest episode is not as long as some of the last few, but it’s still got a lot of great discussion, analysis and commentary. . . Well, at least it’s not that long.
Oh, if you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts. Every rating and review helps. And if you’re really feeling it, consider supporting the show on Patreon.
Thanks for listening!

It’s time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it’s Episode 427: Managing Expectations
On this episode Chris and Joe are back discussing a bunch of new and recurring topics. Some of these include the season (series?) finale of WandaVision, the new movie Boss Level, directed by Joe Carnahan and starring Frank Grillo, the new NBC series Debris, from the makers of Fringe, managing expectations, where the MCU goes from here and a whole lot more.
This episode is not as massive as the last few, but it’s still chock full of great discussion, analysis and commentary. Well, most of those things anyway. . . At least it’s shorter. Okay?
Oh hey, if you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts, and if you’re really feeling it, supporting the show on Patreon. We’d really appreciate it.
Thanks for listening!

It’s time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it’s Episode 426: Rising to the Occasion.
On this episode Chris and Joe are back discussing a bunch of new (and old) topics. Some of these include the latest episode of WandaVision, the new trailer for Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, DC’s Titans television series, the new Superman and Lois series, inappropriate humor, rising to the occasion and a whole lot more.
It’s another big episode. Long. Huge. You get the idea. . . It’s massive. . . Okay, we’re done.
Oh hey, if you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts and supporting the show on Patreon. We’d really appreciate it.
Thanks for listening!

It’s time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it’s Episode 425: Living In a Society.
On the episode Chris and Joe are back on their bullshit and discussing a bunch of new topics. Some of these include the recent crisis in Texas, the latest episode of WandaVision, the new trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the reboot of Mortal Kombat, the great South Korean sci-fi epic Space Sweepers, DC’s “adult” version of Titans, proper measurements of things, living in a society (of course) and a whole lot more.
They also manages to veer off-topic a few times, as happens with these two. So expect those tangents you know and love. Other than that, this episode is a bit shorter than the last few (thank goodness) but still manages to punch you right in the earholes.
Also, no formal picks this week except Chris’ reminder to watch and enjoy Space Sweepers. Oh, one more thing. Two more, really. If you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts and supporting the show on Patreon.
Thanks for listening!

It’s time for brand new episode of The Flickcast podcast. We promise it’s not quite as lengthy as last week, so don’t worry.
We realize some of you may have short attention spans. But when we’ve got something to say, we say it. Even if it takes an hour and a half to do it. That’s just how the world works sometimes.
This week’s episode of the podcast, however, is shorter, but still manages to pack in all kids of stuff. Some of the stuff include the recent Joss Whedon and Gina Carano controversies, more WandaVision including Chris’ new theory on what it’s all about, continuing discussion of how show business works, how most plots of TV series are derived from OG Star Trek episodes and the career of Nicholas Cage.
Speaking of Mr. Cage, Chris’s pick this week is a recent movie, starring the man himself, called Willy’s Wonderland. In it Cage players a drifter who must survive the night by doing battle with animatronic creatures at a Chuck-e-Cheese-like establishment. It’s pretty crazy.
Joe didn’t make a pick this week, but feel free to listen to a Marillion album in his honor. Thanks for listening.
