Because we like the X-Men so much and because Marvel sent it to us, we’ve got more preview pages for the upcoming comic arc X-Men: First to Last. As we said in our previous article about this, the story comes from writer Christopher Yost, who returns to the X-Men with artists Paco Medina and Dalibor Talijic.
Here’s the official word from Marvel about this great looking (and sounding) story:
Starting in X-Men Giant-Size #1 and continuing in June’s X-Men #12, a dangerous villain from the X-Men past travels to the present with one objective in mind—destroy their future! The Evolutionaries are coming and their rampage through the Marvel Universe will push the X-Men to their limits.
And as if a new X-Men story and comics weren’t enough, there’s also a new action figure as well: X-Force Archangel. Available exclusively at Marvel’s website, this is the only way you to get the first figure of Archangel in his “all-new, all-deadly” uniform. That’s right, we said “all-deadly.” Winning.
Look for this story to hit comic store shelves starting on May 18th. Until then, check out the new preview pages after the break.

As we discussed on this week’s episode of The Flickcast, the Human Torch is dead and a new member has apparently joined the group previously known as the Fantastic Four. That character is, of course, the Amazing Spider-Man.
Now, thanks to Marvel, we’ve got a preview of the first issue of this comic featuring the new team for you today. Called FF, the new series comes from the creative team of writer Jonathan Hickman and artist Steve Epting and is described this way by Marvel:
“In the wake of the Human Torch’s heroic sacrifice, Marvels’ first family has re-emerged as the Future Foundation. Spider-Man may their newest teammate, but who else has signed up to protect the future from itself? And what does their presence portend for the world at large?”
I’m not sure, but it does sound interesting. Okay Marvel, you’ve got me. I’m hooked and will read — at least the first few issues.
Check out several pages from the comic after the jump. Marvel’s FF #1 hits comic book stores on March 23rd.

Of all the comic book characters out there, the X-Men are among the most popular. Maybe it’s the fact that they have so many unique and cool powers or that their struggle for equality resonates with readers. Or maybe it’s just that they kick a lot of ass.
Whatever the reason for their popularity, the X-Men are here to stay. So, to further that popularity, we bring you a preview for Marvel’s upcoming comic Chaos War: X-Men #1.
This one comes from the creative team of Chris Claremont, Louise Simonson, and Doug Braithwaite and tells the story of The Chaos King who has drafted the newly resurrected Thunderbird, Banshee, Stepford Cuckoos and many more into his war against reality. Will these former friends be able to help The Chaos King win the war?
Every mutant left alive has no choice but to fight to try and prevent this. Sounds cool to me.
Find out what happens when Chaos War: X-Men #1 hits store shelves on December 29. Until then, check out a preview of the book after the break.

Loki, as you may know, is a character that works against Thor quite often. In fact, you might ever call him Thor’s nemesis. So naturally, the character is going to play a prominent role in the upcoming big screen adaptation of the comic.
With that film coming out soon enough, that hasn’t stopped Marvel from going ahead and making a comic devoted to the character with the upcoming mini-series Loki. From the creative team of writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and artist Sebastian Fiumara, the comic will focus on the mythic past of Asgard and the birth of Marvel’s most relentless villain.
What is the truth behind the twisted motivations of Loki? Money? Power? Revenge? Chicks? Find out everything you need to know from this comic.
Loki #1 hits store shelves on October 20. Until then, check out the preview for the comic after the jump.

Thor is obviously going to be even more of a priority character for Marvel in the coming months. As you probably know they’ve got a big screen adaptation of the character coming out so you can be sure we’ll be seeing lots of comics related to the character hitting store shelves as well.
Not saying that’s a bad thing just that it is to be expected. One of these new Thor titles in question is Ultimate Comics Thor #1, which we’ve got a preview of for you today. This new comic comes from the creative team of Jonathan Hickman and Carlos Pacheco and tells the origin story of Ultimate Thor.
According to Marvel this comic will take you “back to the beginning and witness the debut of the Odinson and the Warriors Three as they combat a shadowy threat masterminded by the dreaded Baron Zemo.” Who will prevail? You’ll just have to read the comic to find out. Side note: Does this comic sound a lot like the plot for the upcoming movie? I wonder.
Anyway, check out a preview for the comic after the jump. Ultimate Comics Thor #1 hits store shelves on October 6.

Marvel’s Moon Knight has never been a character I thought much of. Not that he’s terrible or in any way uninteresting, I just never got “into” him. I usually stuck to other comics from Marvel like Captain America, X-Men and the like and didn’t really branch out all that much. I know, I’m sure I should have.
Obviously, one person’s lack of interest hasn’t stopped Moon Knight from becoming quite popular. So popular, in fact, that he’s starring in a new comic and we’ve got a preview for the first issue for you today.
The new book, called Shadowland: Moon Knight #1, comes from author Gregg Hurwitz and artist Bong Dazo and tells the story of Daredevil, defender of Hell’s Kitchen and leader of the ninja death cult known as the Hand who enlists both the villainous Profile and a new avatar of Khonshu to permanently eliminate Moon Knight. What will Moon Knight do? Why kick ass, of course. Although, not if Daredevil has anything to say about it.
Check out previews for the new comic after the jump. Shadowland: Mood Knight #1 hits comic book stores on August 25th.

As we often do, we like to bring you previews of upcoming movies, tv shows and games. We also like to showcase upcoming comics we’re really looking forward to. Case in point is Marvel’s soon to be released second issue of Ultimate Comics X. Written by Jeph Loeb and Arthur Adams, the second issue continues the story and begins to answer the question that everyone is asking: Who, or what, is Ultimate X?
It’s not just us who are pretty excited about this book. Other critics are also raving. Here’s a sampling of what they have to say:
“This is the archetypical comic story that some readers will one day point back to and say, ‘That was the single greatest issue I ever read.’…Adams turns in phenomenally detailed yet buoyantly composed art as only Arthur Adams can deliver it”- Doug Zawisza, ComicBookResources.Com
“The book lives up to its opening promise of a more hopeful and optimistic story, providing a very human character portrait of a new Ultimate character”—Dave Wallace, ComicsBulletin.Com
“This is Loeb at the top of his game”—Lee Newman, BrokenFrontier.Com
Ultimate Comics X #2 hits comic book store shelves April 7th. In the meantime, be sure to check out all the preview pages after the jump.
