Check Out Five New Previews for NBC’s ‘Chase’

by Joe Gillis, Sep 14 2010 // 1:00 PM

This time around we’ve got previews for another new NBC show called Chase. In this one from executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer Kelli Giddish stars as U.S. Marshall Annie Frost who chases the bad guys and kicks ass all while wearing some great cowboy boots.

To get you excited for this new show we’ve got lots of previews and more videos to share with you today. Some of these include the full length trailer, interviews with Jerry Bruckheimer, stars Giddish and Cole Hauser, a look at some of the show’s action and a lot more.

Before you move on to the videos, here’s a bit more about the show’s story and characters from our friends at NBC:

Kelli Giddish stars as U.S. Marshal Annie Frost, a cowboy boot-wearing deputy whose sharp mind and unique Texas upbringing help her track down violent criminals on the run. Starring as the members of Frost’s elite team are Cole Hauser as Jimmy Godfrey, an East Texas kid who never grew up and is a true American cowboy; Amaury Nolasco who plays Marco Martinez, a good intelligence guy who loves to talk; and Rose Rollins, who portrays Daisy Ogbaa, a weapons/tactical specialist and a woman of few words.

Rounding out the cast is Jesse Metcalfe, who stars as Luke Watson, the fresh-faced newcomer whose Washington, D.C. upbringing did little to prepare him for the Lone Star State.

Chase premieres next Monday, September 20 at 10/9C on NBC. Check out all the previews after the jump.

Check Out Five New Preview Clips for ‘Undercovers’

by Joe Gillis, Sep 10 2010 // 12:00 PM

As we’ve been doing a lot lately, we’ve got another huge bunch of previews for another Fall TV show to share with you today. This time around the previews are for the new J.J. Abrams show Undercovers.

In case you’re not familiar with the series, here’s a little bit of info on its plot and characters:

Outwardly, Steven Bloom (Boris Kodjoe) and his wife, Samantha (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), are a typical married couple who own and operate a small catering company in Los Angeles. Secretly, the duo were two of the best spies the CIA had ever known, until they fell in love on the job five years ago and retired.

When fellow spy and good friend Leo Nash (Carter MacIntyre) goes missing while on the trail of a Russian arms dealer, the Blooms are reinstated by boss and agency liaison, Carlton Shaw (Gerald McRaney), to locate and rescue Nash. Following leads that take them to cities spanning the globe, Steven and Samantha quickly realize that perhaps this supercharged, undercover lifestyle provides exactly the kind of excitement and romance that their marriage has been missing.

Okay that’s the story. Now, to help you learn even more, we’ve got those videos we told you about after the jump including the full length trailer, interviews with the show’s two leads and and interview with the man himself J.J. Abrams. Check them out. Undercovers premieres September 22nd on NBC.

Take a Look at Six New Previews for ‘The Event’

by Heather Toshiko, Sep 8 2010 // 12:00 PM

We’ve been talking about NBC’s new show The Event show for quite some time here at The Flickcast. It looks to be a very interesting and compelling show that will hopefully, at least in some way, help ease the pain of not having Lost to watch any longer.

We’ve already brought you a metric ton of previews and even a first impressions of the pilot episode. Now we’ve got even more previews and interviews about the show to share today.

Before the videos, here’s an “offical” synopsis of the show to help set the stage:

The Event is an emotional, high-octane conspiracy thriller that follows Sean Walker (Jason Ritter), an everyman who investigates the mysterious disappearance of his would-be fiancée Leila (Sarah Roemer), and unwittingly begins to expose the biggest cover-up in U.S. history.

Sean’s quest will send ripples through the lives of an eclectic band of strangers, including newly elected U.S. President Elias Martinez (Blair Underwood); Sophia Maguire (Laura Innes), who is the leader of a mysterious group of detainees; and Leila’s shadowy father (Scott Patterson). Their futures are on a collision course in a global conspiracy that could ultimately change the fate of mankind.

Sounds cool, right? To see more, check out all the videos after the break. The Event blows our minds on September 20th.

Check Out a Whole Bunch More Previews for NBC’s Fall Lineup

by Joe Gillis, Aug 27 2010 // 1:00 PM

Friday has ended up being a day where we have a lot of previews for new and currently airing TV shows. This Friday is no exception as we’ve got a whole slew of new previews for upcoming Fall shows from our pals at NBC.

Among these shows are The Event, Outsourced, Chase, Outlaw and the news season of Donald “Your Fired” Trump’s The Apprentice. Yes, that show is still on and yes, his hair still looks like that. Move on.

Here’s the scoop on the previews:

· The Event: Check out the extended 2:30 promo for footage from the pilot and interviews with the cast that are sure to pique your interest.

· Outsourced: This very funny promo finds humor in the slight cultural differences that Outsourced is going to be poking fun at. Let’s just say the phrase “birthday suit” doesn’t translate well…

· Chase: The latest promo teaches us a little about US Marshal Annie Frost’s background. Her troubled life as a child is what drives her to catch the dangerous criminals we’ll see her pursuing.

· Outlaw: The sneak peek below takes you on set to talk to Jimmy Smits and the cast of Outlaw as they give you a comprehensive preview at the Friday series.

· The Apprentice: Donald Trump will be giving the winner of this season a second chance – a privilege that is not lost on the contestants.

Now doesn’t that all sound very interesting? For all the videos, click on through to the other side.

Check Out Previews for a Whole Slew of Fall Shows Including ‘Chuck’, ‘Undercovers and ‘The Event’

by Joe Gillis, Aug 23 2010 // 3:00 PM

We often bring you previews of current and upcoming TV programs and today is no exception. Some of these shows are brand new for the Fall and some, in the case of Chuck, are not new but returning and we’ve already covered them quite a bit before.

Today, we’ve got previews for The Event, Chase, Undercovers and, as I said, Chuck. For The Event Nick Wauters has three videos from his production diary which give you access to the set and series star Jason Ritter. Next up on Chase stars Kelli Giddish, Cole Hauser, Amaury Nolasco, Jesse Metcalfe and Rose Collins talk about the action-packed series.

For Undercovers we’ve got interviews with cast members Mekia Cox and Carter MacIntyre who talk about their characters and what the atmosphere is like on set. Last, but certainly not least, we’ve got a Chuck video where the cast and crew discuss the “bromance” between Chuck and his pal Morgan.

Check out all the videos after, of course, the jump. Look for all of these shows this Fall.
