Erica Durance As Wonder Woman In This Week’s ‘Harry’s Law’

by Joe Gillis, Jan 9 2012 // 12:45 PM

Were you a fan of Smallville and do you miss the cast and often wonder what happened to some of your favorites like Erica Durance, who played the awesome Lois Lane in the series? Well don’t worry, Durance is still out there working hard and hasn’t given up her superhero cred either.

How do we know? Well, on this week’s episode of Harry’s Law she picks up the mantle of vigilantie justice and takes to the streets dressed as another pretty famous superhero: Wonder Woman.

Of course, we’ve got video of this momentous event to share with you today, courtesy of NBC and via the folks at TV Line. But before that, here’s some scoop on Durance’s character:

Having suffered abuse in the past, Durance’s character, Annie, takes a violent — and controversial — course of “self-therapy” in order to cope and to prevent the same thing from happening to other women.

“I got to get back into that kind of [fighting] stuff, the punching,” Durance told TVLine when we visited the show’s set in November. And judging from the preview clip below, she throws a mean right hook. But those jabs don’t come without big consequences, which is what leads Annie to seek legal help from her old high school classmate, Adam (Nate Corddry).

“She’s done a couple of things and gone too far in the eyes of society,” explains Durance. “So she’s actually under a lot of fire.”

Take a look at Durance as Wonder Woman after the jump and be sure to watch the entire episode of Harry’s Law this Wednesday at 9/8C on NBC.

by Joe Gillis, Jul 6 2011 // 2:56 PM

We’ve already heard from some of the other networks and now it’s NBC’s turn to reveal its new Fall schedule. The official fall primetime schedule, which begins Tuesday, Sept. 13 with the season premiere of Parenthood, contains several new series as well as returning favorites.

It’s nice to know this info, but for us the most important thing is that both Chuck and Community are back this season. We would have missed them if they were gone.

Here’s the schedule. New shows are in CAPS and all times are Eastern:

8:30-11 PM: “Sunday Night Football” (regular season)

Sunday, September 11

by Joe Gillis, May 16 2011 // 9:00 AM

Drama Awake and comedies Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea, Bent and BFF have yet to be scheduled.

Of course, we’re glad to see some of our favorite shows returning next season including Community and Chuck. Oddly absent from the schedule at the moment is 30 Rock, which is apparently being postponed to make way for freshman comedy Whitney. Let’s hope it comes back soon.

NBC Announces Its Season Finale Schedule

by Matt Raub, Mar 9 2011 // 7:30 AM

As things are just getting good on some of NBC’s biggest shows, it’s hard to believe that we’re in the home stretch for this season of TV. With just about a month and a half left, NBC has just released their final schedule of season (and possibly series) finales for this year.

No exact word on what will return just yet, but there are a few shows still on the bubble to be canceled. We’re looking at you, Chuck, Perfect Couples, and Outsourced). However, we’re still holding out that our favorite comedies such as Community, Parks & Recreation, and The Office will return.

With that in mind, here is the full schedule of season finales that the network has lined up, courtesy of Deadline. So prep your DVR’s and get ready for a whole summer of re-runs and off-season replacements.

MONDAY, APRIL 4
“Harry’s Law” (10-11 p.m.)
FRIDAY, APRIL 8
“Who Do You Think You Are?” (8-9 p.m.)
TUESDAY, APRIL 19
“Parenthood” (10-11 p.m.)
SUNDAY, MAY 1

Check Out Previews for Tonight’s ‘Chuck’, ‘The Cape’ and More

by Joe Gillis, Feb 14 2011 // 2:00 PM

It’s Monday so that means all new episodes of one of our favorite shows, Chuck, and one of our favorite new shows, The Cape. Plus, a preview of another new show, Harry’s Law, we haven’t had much time to watch yet but from what we’ve seen looks pretty good. It’s from David E. Kelly and stars Kathy Bates, so what more do you really need?

Of course, that also means we’ve got previews and other stuff to get you ready for tonight’s fun. First up on Chuck, Sarah’s old teammates return and Lou Diamond Phillips guest stars on an episode that’s sure to please fans. Oh, did we mention that Sarah’s old teammates are three hot babes who like to kick ass? Yeah.

Plus, Lou Diamond sporting a goatee for the ladies. What more could you want? Something for everyone, right?

Then, The Cape goes supernatural as an old killer threatens Orwell and the entire city. I’ll bet you can guess that The Cape doesn’t like that very much. Plus, Summer Glau is, as always, a delight. Check out some behind the scenes action for this episode.

And, finally, Harry risks disbarment when she refuses to stand up for a guilty defendant on tonight’s Harry’s Law. Oh that Harry, always getting into trouble and bucking the system. Let’s hope she doesn’t have a sledge hammer or anything. That could get messy.

All the Monday action starts at 8/7C tonight with Chuck. Check out all the previews and such after the jump.

Check Out a Bunch of New Promos for ‘Chuck’, ‘The Event’, ‘The Cape’ and More

by Joe Gillis, Jan 31 2011 // 3:30 PM

Unlike that other network that changes the schedule for its shows at the last minute (Yes, CW, we’re talking to you) NBC seems pretty consistent when it comes to airing its own programming. So this week expect all-new episodes of Chuck, The Event, The Cape and more to air when they are scheduled to.

To get you ready for all these new shows we’ve got some promos and whatnot for them to share with you today. First up is Chuck, which has a brand new episode tonight wherein the final head-to-head clash between our hero Chuck and the evil Alexei Volkoff takes place. Who will win and what will be the fate of Chuck’s mom and his love Sarah? Find out tonight.

We’ve also got the goods on The Cape as Mena Suvari’s Dice takes center stage and tries her best to separate The Cape from his, um, cape  . . . and also his head. On Harry’s Law Harry tries to exonerate an imprisoned man on tonight’s episode. She probably has a gun too and intimidates people with her folksy charm.

Finally we’ve got The Event and Ian Anthony Dale who introduces some deleted scenes from the show, featuring his character Simon Lee. These two scenes from Episode 7 are web exclusive extras that we didn’t see on air. Plus, Jason Ritter is back for another “Day in The Life” profile. In part 2, Jason shows off his knack for hair and makeup styling.

Check out all the promos after the break. Things kick off tonight at 8/7C with Chuck on NBC.
