Howdy! It’s time for a brand new episode of The Flickcast! We took a couple weeks off, but now we’re back … with a vengeance! Well, at least we’re back. No need for vengeance . . . for now.
On this week’s episode Chris and Joe jump back into it and talk about a whole bunch of their favorite shows back for new seasons. Some of these include Arrow, The Flash, Agents of SHIELD and, of course, The Walking Dead. They also talk about upcoming shows like Jessica Jones, season two of Daredevil and a bunch of other stuff that’s really cool and interesting. You should check it out.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the movie Sicario and Joe’s pick of the new Invincible Iron Man comic series from Marvel.

The trend for 2015 of uninterrupted weekly episodes continues with another brand new episode of The Flickcast. And no, we’re not counting them. But if we were, this would be three in a row for the new year. As we’ve said before, not bad. We’ll try to keep it going.
On this week’s show, Chris and Joe talk about a whole slew of new and recurring topics . . . as usual. Some of these include the merits of Yeoman Rand, the utility of Kilts, space tools, Simon Pegg co-writing the next Star Trek movie, new casting news for X-Men: Apocalypse and general X-Men movie continuity, the return of Arrow and The Flash, Disney not using George Lucas’ ideas for the next Star Wars movie, the end of the Marvel Universes and the creation of Battleworld! Yep, more.
Picks this week are a little different than usual. Instead of picking a movie, TV show, comic or piece of tech, both Chris and Joe encourage you to dig deep and contribute to an organization fighting diseases and conditions that affect children. If a Kickstarter featuring a card game with exploding kittens can get millions of dollars, don’t organizations like The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Make a Wish Foundation, the March of Dimes or the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital also deserve a couple of your hard-earned dollars? We think so.

We’re back once again with an all-new episode of The Flickcast. Four weeks in a row! This close to Christmas! The record is building once again.
On this week’s episode Chris and Joe discuss a bunch of new and recurring topics. Some of these include names of the new Star Wars characters, much more on the Arrow, Flash and Agents of SHIELD winter finales, a bit on the Sony hack and a whole lot more, more, more.
We should also mention we were scheduled to have an interview in this week’s episode, but due to circumstances, that wasn’t possible. So, this episode might be a bit shorter than usual. Sorry.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the novel Half a King by Joe Abercrombie and Joe’s pick of the Blu-ray version of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes that’s just come out.

Well, we tried. Tried to have one episode right after the other. Sadly, it didn’t work — at least not this past week.
But never fear, we’re back now and we’ve got a brand new episode of The Flickcast for you. And heck, it’s even pretty good.
This week Chris and Joe take on some new topics and some old ones. What are these topics? Well, you’ll just have to listen to find out. But rest assured, they’re pretty cool. No, you can take our word for it. Why would we lie?
This week’s picks include Chris’ pick of the book Of Dice and Men: The Story of Dungeons & Dragons and The People Who Play It
by David M. Ewalt and Joe’s pick of the podcast Children of Tendu by Javier Grillo-Marxuach and Jose Molina.
And no, that pic of Darth Maul has little to do with this week’s episode. We just think he’s a badass.
