It all started with Summer of Arcade before XBox Live came alive with a series of seasonal promotions to help push new titles for their digital download platform. With the Block Party freshly wrapping up with some hits like Warp, Microsoft has already dropped the list of games for the upcoming Arcade Next promotion set to start on April 18th and wrapping up on May 9th.
Of the four games, only one is a wholly original IP with Bloodforge. Trials Evolution is a sequel to XBLA hit Trials HD and Fable Heroes is a new gameplay style set in the Fables world. The most anticipated of all the titles though may be Minecraft: XBox 360 Edition, a port of the unstoppable indy PC sensation making its debut for the first time on any console system.
Also for the first time, the achievement cap on XBLA has been upped. Starting in April, XBLA titles will be allowed up to 400 Achievement Points and up to 30 total achievements per release. This is a drastic increase from the original 200 point / 12 total achievement maximum that had been in place (well, 250 point maximum if you include the possible 50 points that could be added for DLC.
Take a look at all four titles after the jump and stay tuned to the Flickcast for news and reviews on Trials Evolution, Bloodforge, Fable Heroes and Minecraft: XBox 360 Edition as soon as we get our hands on them.

Director David Cronenberg has had quite the eclectic career. First coming on the scene with films such as The Brood, The Fly and Scanners he’s transitioned to more “mainstream” fare with A History of Violence and Eastern Promises. His latest film is Cosmopolis, based on Don DeLillo’s novel
The film is a a study of capitalism in a slightly futuristic metropolis. It stars Robert Pattinson and Samantha Morton and there’s a new trailer being released today. Naturally, we’ve got it for you right here.
In addition to Pattinson, the film stars Jay Baruchel, Samantha Morton, Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, Mathieu Amalric and Sarah Gadon. Check out the trailer after the break.
Look for Cosmopolis to be released in France on May 23 with a wider release to follow.

When Activision and Beenox announced the Rhino would be one of Spider-Man’s foes in The Amazing Spider-Man, it didn’t really shock or surprise anyone. It was almost a no brainer. The Rhino has been around since Spider-Man’s earliest days and has appeared in thirteen separate Spider-Man games. The Iguana on the other hand. That choice is a whole other story.
The Iguana is at best a footnote in the Spider-Man lore. Only ever appearing in Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #32 back in July of 1979, the Iguana was an experiment gone wrong by Doctor Curt Connors (a.k.a. The Lizard and the main antagonist of the upcoming summer blockbuster film which this game ties in to). The Iguana would only make a singular appearance in comics before returning to his original, non-super powered iguana form.
Though incredibly obscure, the character choice does actually make sense. There are few, if any, characters with a more direct tie to the Lizard in Spider-Man’s rogue gallery. Instead of shoehorning in other purely “evil” villains, the concept behind the Iguana is one that makes sense for him to be intertwined in the events of the movie game.

Even though there’s a lot of movies being made from TV shows these days, that doesn’t mean we don’t have room for one more. That’s especially true when you combine the talents of Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Eve Green, Chloe Moretz and Tim Burton.
In fact, that’s just what Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow have done with the upcoming film Dark Shadows. Based on the popular 70s TV series of the same name, the film features Depp as vampire Barnabas Collins and his re-emergence in 1972.
We’ve got the first full trailer from the film to share with you today. Watching the trailer it seems Burton has decided this is more of a comedy than the original series, which may or may not please fans. However, whatever Burton and company end up doing, you can be sure there’s going to be a lot of black, a lot of pasty people and probably some snow.
Check out the trailer after the break. Look for Dark Shadows to hit theaters on May 11.

There is no denying the popularity of the Call of Duty series. Generally finishing the year as one of the top sellers, Call of Duty games are big business. So the concept of packaging it’s planned DLC as apart of a ‘content season’ is a great way to keep the popular series fresh year round.
This latest round of DLC content contains two spec ops missions. The first taking place in snowy Russia and sees you and a partner on snowmobile’s before storming an enemy diamond mine. Mission two takes you to the streets in India as you work to liberate hostages in a city.
The last bit in the drop is a new multiplayer map called Black Box. The map is focused on an affluent neighborhood that Air Force One crash landed in. You take your battles through the wreckage of the President’s downed plane and the surrounding homes.
We have been giving you a heads up to new content drops since the program was announced, and today is no difference. For your viewing pleasure we bring to you Rob Riggle and the March content drop trailer, after the jump.

If there’s one thing that never seems to get old no matter how many times I watch it’s Monty Python movies like Holy Grail and Meaning of Life. So naturally when word came that Holy Grail was coming to Blu-ray, I was pretty excited.
In fact, it’s not just coming to Blu-ray, it has arrived. Oh happy day. Here’s all the details from the official press release. Plus, be sure to check out the trailer for Monty Python and the Holy Grail after the break.
Join King Arthur and his knights as they embark on a quest for the Holy Grail and battle against the Black Knight, the Killer Rabbit, The Knights Who Say ‘Ni!’ and the Black Beast of Aaaargh! The Blu-ray set is brimming with coconuts, shrubberies and swallows (African or European), OOPS, we mean loads of bonus materials, including over 30 minutes of new Blu-ray exclusive special features.
The Monty Python team are at it again in their second movie. This time we follow King Arthur and his knights in their search for the Holy Grail. This isn’t your average medieval knights and horses story – for a start, due to a shortage in the kingdom, all the horses have been replaced by servants clopping coconuts together!

As we’re constantly bombarded with all sorts of new movies, TV shows and the like it’s sometimes hard to muster enthusiasm for what seems like just another reboot, remake, retread or sequel. We’re worried, of course, that the makers of said project are just in it to cash in and make as much money as possible without really worrying too much about things like characters, story or doing a good job.
Fortunately, there’s a few times where after looking at a trailer for an upcoming reboot, remake or sequel, it seems just the opposite is true and the people involved do care and have made something good. Men In Black 3 seems to be one of those cases.
There was a teaser for the film last December and now the first theatrical trailer for it is out and we have to say it looks pretty darn good. Back in action are Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones as the eponymous J and K as well as a new twist, Josh Brolin as the 1969 version of Tommy Lee Jones’s character after Smith’s J goes back in time to prevent an alien invasion that could destroy the planet.
Take a look at the trailer after the break and judge for yourself. We think this is going to be big. Look for Men In Black 3 to hit theaters on May 25.

One thing Spider-Man has always had going for him is an iconic rogues gallery rivaled only by that of DC Comic’s Batman. Though some started out with simple or silly premises like an evil doctor with extra appendages or an old bald man who liked to fly around town, years of phenomenal writers have given these characters unexpected levels of depth and personality. One such character is the Rhino. One such character is The Rhino.
Starting off as a common thug, the Rhino, especially in recent years, has become an incredibly interesting character. Having tried to rid his life of his crime ridden past, Aleksei Sytsevich was pulled back in unexpectedly after the tragic death of his wife Oksana was killed during the recent “Gauntlet” story arc by a new criminal trying to don the mantle of the Rhino. Most recently, the Rhino was found as a part of Doctor Octopus’s latest incarnation of the Sinister Six.
It looks like now Rhino will be making his way to the Spider-Man video game based on the newly relaunched Amazing Spider-Man movie franchise. Unrestricted because of the comic’s longstanding continuity, the team at Beenox was able to create their own mythos behind Aleksei and how he came into this Spider-Man’s world.
Check out the reveal trailer full bio, interview about this new Rhino and screen shots after the break for the Rhino coming to the Amazing Spider-Man for XBox 360 and PlayStation 3.

I’m not sure what it is about movie marketing these days. For some reason, studios seems determined to hide elements of a film when putting together trailers and other marketing materials.
It’s almost as if they’re afraid to reveal anything for fear of alienating some segment (or all) of a film’s potential audience. In truth, that’s probably pretty close to the reality.
Such is the case with Disney’s upcoming film John Carter. It’s painfully obvious from the trailers released so far that Disney marketing has no idea how to sell this film. In fact, I’d wager the first trailers have done little to entice potential viewers into the theaters.
Personally, I’ve found them to be dull, uninspired and tending to focus on elements making this film pretty much look like every other Disney film released in the last ten years. Fortunetely, for those of us who are fans of the books and want this movie to succeede, others have stepped up to help.
Enter YouTube user John Carter Files. They’ve taken it upon themselves to make a trailer for the film and after watching it I’m sure you will agree it’s so much better than any of the “official” ones Disney should give these guys a job immedietly and leave them alone to do their work.
Check it out after the break. Look for John Carter to hit theaters on March 9.

With March 6th quickly closing in, Capcom has finally announced the final four characters for Street Fighter X Tekken. None of these are huge surprises for longtime fans of either series as they are either fan favorites or staples for both series. M. Bison and Akuma round out the Street Fighter roster as Jin and Ogre make their way over to team Tekken.
M. Bison, still carrying the improper name and the original boss of Street Fighter II, makes his way to the title. Akuma who has made his presence felt in almost every Street Fighter or Capcom vs. title since his creation also stands on the Street Fighter side of things, looking to be the opposition to Tekken’s Ogre. Both Jin and Ogre come to Tekken’s side of things, an interesting combination to be announced together with the history of the two characters with Ogre killing Jin’s mother. All four combatants can be seen in the trailers below.
Capcom has confirmed as well that the PC version of Street Fighter X Tekken will be released on May 11. The PlayStation Vita SKU has still not be given a release date.
In addition to all this, Capcom is launching Cross Assault on February 22nd, a week long reality show pitting top players against each other as they try to compete for $25,000 in prizes.

Last week, we let you in on a sneak peek of the Overwatch Content Drop coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Activision has announced that the Overwatch map will be coming out on February 21st to XBox 360 Elite Premium members. This Overwatch map is going to be the third in Call of Duty Elite’s nine month plan of new maps and gameplay modes to keep the Modern Warfare 3 servers packed to the gills with players before the next CoD from Treyarch inevitably comes out this November.
Take a peek after the jump at a video preview of Overwatch. Rob Riggle hosts the trailer again as he did with the first two content drops. Maybe in the future we can get Jonah Hill who made the Call of Duty commercials as entertaining as they were on other upcoming content packs. This trailer gives a much more detailed view than last week’s screen shots did of the Overwatch map. Riggle actually tells us that the map itself is the equivalent of a 13,000 square foot rooftop penthouse overlooking NYC.
Expect two things from this map. First off, it is going to be a sniper’s paradise as there are tons of little lines of site that encompass large areas of the map, giving lots of range between the sniper and their targets. Also, expect lots of people falling to their deaths. In any close quartered situation, players begin backing away if they feel they are being bested. In a normal game, this method of retreat is usually only halted by a wall behind the player. Now, they can fall to their deaths with a faulty step in the wrong direction.
Check out the full trailer below and stick to the Flickcast for more on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty Elite.

This may come as news to some of you. In addition to being President during one of the most tumultuous times in US history, Abraham Lincoln was secretly also a vampire hunter.
Well, at least that’s how history goes in the upcoming film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Produced by Tim Burton and directed by Timur Bekmambetov, the film is an adaptation of the Seth Grahame-Smith book about Lincoln and his quest to destroy the undead after his mother is killed by bloodsucking vampires.
We’ve got the first trailer for the film to share with you today. To be honest, we weren’t expecting much from this but it’s nice to be pleasantly surprised once in awhile. The pic, at least from this trailer, actually looks pretty good. You will, of course, have to judge for yourselves.
Check out the trailer after the break. Look for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, which stars Benjamin Walker, Rufus Sewell, and Dominic Cooper to hit theaters on June 22.
