Coulson lives! Take that evil dudes from another dimension, or anyone else with an attitude that needs adjusting. You know who you are.
Anyway, you might have heard ABC is bringing Joss Whedon’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to the small screen in the Fall. Yes? Okay, good.
Earlier, they dropped a short bit of teaser during an episode of Once Upon a Time. Now, there’s a much longer version for you to enjoy.
Don’t worry, you will. This looks pretty great.
Check it out after the break. Look for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Tuesdays this Fall on ABC.

We’ve been watching the FX original series The Americans since it premiered. We love the show and are glad it’s coming back for a second season.
But this post isn’t about The Americans. It’s about another show that’s been teased during episodes of The Americans. That show is the upcoming FX drama The Bridge which, to be honest, has us very intrigued.
We haven’t had much info about the show up til now, but fortunately today FX has sent us four promos for it and we, of course, are bringing them to you.
Not only that, we have a bit more info regarding the shows’s plot as well. Here it is:
Demián Bichir stars in the role of “Marco Ruiz,” a homicide investigator for the state of Chihuahua, Mexico living in Ciudad Juárez. A family man, Marco is one of the last good men in a corrupt and apathetic police force that is outgunned by the powerful drug cartels. He’s sharp, charming, and observant and painfully aware that his city is in a state of chaos. When a body is dumped on the bridge that spans the El Paso-Ciudad Juárez border, Ruiz is forced to work with his American counterpart, Detective Sonya Cross (Diane Kruger).
Check out the new videos after the break. Look for The Bridge to premiere on FX on July 10.

Yes, but for how long? Sadly, even though Sean Bean is one of our favorite actors, he does tend to die in many of the movies and TV series in which he appears. Maybe that won’t be the case this time as Bean is clearly the star of this new Howard Gordon-produced series Legends.
The show has been picked up by TNT for a ten episode first season and concerns Martin Odum (Bean), an undercover agent working for the FBI’s Deep Cover Operations division. Martin has the uncanny ability to transform himself into a completely different person for each job.
But, as often happens in these situations, he begins to question his own identity when a mysterious stranger suggests that Martin isn’t the man he believes himself to be. Uh oh, twist!
The series also stars Ali Larter as the hot but unfortunately named Crystal Quest, a fellow operative who has a history with Martin; Rob Mayes as Troy Quinn, a former Special Ops agent with a single-minded mission-first mentality; Tina Majorino as Maggie Harris, the newest member of the DCO team; Steve Harris as Nelson Gates, the director of the DCO Task Force; and Amber Valletta as Sonya Odum, Martin’s ex-wife.
Look for the series to debut in early 2014. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for you Sean.

Let’s just state for the record that Tom Hanks is a national treasure. No, he wasn’t in National Treasure, that was Nic Cage. Tom Hanks is the guy who started out his career with an RPG movie and then a TV series where he wears a dress and is now, after two Academy Awards, one of the finest and most highly regarded actors of our times.
Sure, he doesn’t always make the best movies (Larry Crowne comes to mind) but still, he’s always likable and, more to the point, always interesting. His latest is the biopic Captain Phillips, wherein Hanks plays Captain Richard Phillips who was taken hostage by Somali Pirates during the Maersk Alabama hijacking in 2009.
The movie is directed by Paul Greengrass and also stars Catherine Keener as Andrea Phillips, Max Martini as the Seal Commander, Yul Vazquez as Frank Castellano and Chris Mulkey as John Cronan. It is scheduled to be released on October 11.
Check out the first trailer for Captain Phillips after the break.

We’re just so happy to see Gillian Anderson coming back to TV. No, she’s not returning to her iconic role of Agent Dana Scully of X-Files fame. At least not yet.
What she is doing is playing another investigator, this time in a BBC series called The Fall. The psychological thriller debuts on BBC Two on May 13 and all five episodes will be available in the U.S. and Latin America exclusively on Netflix starting May 28.
The series follows the lives of Anderson’s highly driven detective Stella Gibson and the sexually motivated serial killer she’s tracking in Belfast. Once Upon A Time‘s Jamie Dornan also stars along with The Good Wife‘s Archie Panjabi.
Looks pretty interesting. Judge for yourself by watching the new promo for The Fall after the break. Guess the truth is in Belfast.

If you havent had a chance to watch the Starz original series Magic City yet, you might want to check it out. We like it and it features a great cast of familiar faces as well as slick gangsters, shootouts and yes, even a bit of sex.
All these elements, and more, go into the making of Magic City. With the show getting ready to debut its second season, Starz today released some key art for the series as well as a couple preview videos. Naturally, we’ve got it all for you right here.
Magic City stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan as hotelier Ike Evans as he follows his dream to build a palace on the sands sands of South Beach, Miami in the 1950′s. Unfortunately, the mob has other ideas.
In addition to Morgan, Magic City stars Danny Huston, Olga Kurylenko, Kelly Lynch and will feature guest appearances this season by Esai Morales and James Caan. Look for it to return to Starz for season two on June 14. Meantime, check out the videos after the break.

Say what you will about X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but at least it did well enough for the character to get another chance at headlining a movie. And heck, who doesn’t want that? Wolverine is awesome.
There’s a new trailer that’s arrived on the Internets for the upcoming sequel to Origins called simply The Wolverine. In it we get a good bit of action, drama, kick-ass fights and pretty much everything else we could want. Plus, there’s even some shots of Hugh Jackman without a shirt for the ladies (or the gents that appreciate that kind of thing).
In other words, it looks like The Wolverine is back where he belongs and back in the hands of someone, in this case director James Mangold, who can do him justice. Look for The Wolverine in theaters on July 26.
Check out the trailer, first shown at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last month, after the break.

On Starz We’ve had Romans and a slave uprising, Da Vinci and his amazing innovations, a guy who runs a hotel and has to fight with the mob and a lot more. One thing that’s been missing is pirates. Fortunately, Starz is about ready to remedy that situation with its new, upcoming series Black Sails.
“The eight-episode first season centers on the tales of Captain Flint and his men, and takes place twenty years prior to Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic “Treasure Island.” Toby Stephens (Die Another Day) stars as Flint, the most brilliant and most feared pirate captain of his day, takes on a fast-talking young addition to his crew who goes by the name John Silver.
Threatened with extinction on all sides, they fight for the survival of New Providence Island, the most notorious criminal haven of its day – a debauched paradise teeming with pirates, prostitutes, thieves and fortune seekers, a place defined by both its enlightened ideals and its stunning brutality.”
Check out the trailer after the break. Look for Black Sails to air later this year.

A new Wesen is introduced in this episode, a man who picks up woman at grief support groups. He gets invited back to their home, and spews a Great Muta (or Tajiri for younger readers) like red mist into their face. This blinds the women, and he then turns into a fly and drinks their tears.
The first woman dies after pulling a giant bookcase down on herself. The second victim survives, as her sister came home while the attack was taking place. The Medical Examiner finds that the victim’s eyes are infected with a type of worm that is normally found in River Blindness in Africa.
Nick, Hank, and Monroe are able to determine that the suspect is a Jinnamuru Xuntee (before I looked it up, I had spelled it Ginimurushuntae), a tear stealing evil spirit. When beheaded, its brain is found to be swollen and infested with red worms. It will also revisit victim’s families, to feed off of their tears.
Based on his M.O. of grief support groups, they are able to track Andre’s (the Jinnamuru Xuntee) car to a high school. He is leaving the meeting with a woman when Hank, Nick, and Sgt. Wu chase him back inside. They split up, and Nick finds Andre in a classroom upstairs. Andre spits the red mist into Nick’s face and jumps out the window.

As we told you before, we’re very interested in History’s upcoming show Vikings. It seems to have all of the elements we love in a show.
Action, drama, swords and epic heroes and villains, Vikings looks to be a fun and entertaining way to spend sixty minutes. And now, to get you ready for the show’s premiere, we’ve got more previews and whatnot for you to enjoy.
But before that, here’s some tidbits about the premiere episode:
Our story begins in 8th century Scandinavia where Ragnar Lothbrok is a warrior and a farmer who dreams of finding riches by bucking the tradition of raiding to the east. Ragnar has been working in secret on a project that will turn the Viking world on its head. But first Ragnar must convince the leader of his community, the powerful Earl Haraldson, who is none too happy to share in the renown that this journey could bring to Ragnar if it’s successful.

Paul, Jacob, and Emma are all sleeping in the same bed, as they start to wake up. Paul and Emma both think Jacob is freaking out about what happened the prior night. Jacob is in the bathroom as Emma and Paul cuddle in bed.
Joey sneaks downstairs and calls Claire using the hidden cell phone. He is able to describe the house he is in, but does not know where he is. Paul finds Joey and drags him away.
The FBI is unable to find a definite location on the house, as the phone had a scrambled signal, and sent a virus to their software. Hardy wants to go to Dutchess County anyway, since that is where they thought they were anyway.

Paul has taken Megan down to the basement, where Emma decides that Megan must die to tie up all loose ends. Paul tells Jacob to do it and goes upstairs.
The FBI team is analyzing the video of Joey to try and determine where they may be keeping him. Hardy gets a call from someone named Jenny, but does not answer it.
A flashback is shown to a woman helping him in a drunken state. An old girlfriend of Hardy’s, she finally tires of his depressive/drunken stupor and takes off.
Hardy visits with Joe again to find out some more info on Maggie. Joe is delighted that Hardy killed Rick. He tells Hardy that Maggie was responsible for some serial murders in Arkansas, and that she is “resourceful, tenacious, impressive.”

Looks like Hostory Channel is trying to capture a bit of that Game of Thrones and Spartacus magic that HBO and Starz have. In truth, we don’t mind because their upcoming show, Vikings, actually looks pretty good.
We’ve got a few preview clips from the show to share with you today. In them you’ll get “a taste of the intense drama” the show will bring. The next two previews introduce some of the main characters: “the warrior shield maiden, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) and the ruler, Earl (Gabriel Byrne). One, fighting for what she believes and the other fighting to hold onto the power he can’t stand to lose.”
The last clip is, well, you’ll just have to watch it. Vikings premieres 3.3.13 @ 10/9c on History Channel.

The following was discovered in the journal of Sir Heinriech Blossom Bugfellow, Gentleman:
During my travels, I came across a curious figure of Mr. Snipe, a derelict of the town who, for a small sum, would relate his tales from across all corners of the world. On this occasion, he spoke of his journey to the Gallery of the Wizened Master, a painter of rich and moving tapestries. As Mr. Snipe recalled, the Master was well known throughout the world, and his latest exhibition featured works done with a new kind of paint, one which made the images leap from the canvas and poke at your eyes.
The works were representations of a famous folk tale featuring all mixes of animals, people, landscapes, and the like. Mingling with each other, they produced images of great wonder, such as a still ocean reflecting the sky above or endless pools of glowing bioluminscence or a vast and enveloping view of a sunken ship. Certainly they stole many a breath, for one viewer was scared to cough for fear that the painting would disperse. Mr. Snipe, he assured me, found them delightful as well, but noticed, when he walked behind these pictures, that each one disappeared when viewed from a different angle.
