Iron Man’s “Alt.” costume is pretty lame.
Comic Book Guy voice: “Gambit’s costume is actually when he was a horseman of Apocalypse during the Decimation, not AoA. And Deadpool’s alternate is the unmasked version of Ultimate Deadpool, not our lovable 616 version.”

And btw, I know this is a little late to bring it up but how is Hawkeye / Ronin not in this game as a playable character. So not cool.

cool character but he doesn’t really have any involvement with the civil war story line so it wouldnt make sense to include him. gambit also has no involvement. why he is there, I don’t know. not complaining though. but in general, why characters are in this game and some aren’t is based purely on the civil war story line of the comics. its not like the game creators just decided to randomly generate some random roster to piss people off.

Norman Osborn didn’t introduce Iron Patriot until after The Civil War, but that would be pretty cool to see.

Hulk should of been, White Hulk I believe it is, where he has the suit. Iron Man should of been Hulk Buster atleast or even Ultimate Iron Man. I see NO change in Venom’s suit. Deadpool should of been Ryan Reynolds, lol.

You mean Grey Hulk, aka Joe Fix-It.

Hulk buster would have drastically changed the base character. Ultimate looks retarded.

Vemon is VERY different. In fact, it’s not even the same host. The original is the current comic Vemon, Mac Gargan (aka The Scorpion.) The alt is the original Vemon, Eddie Brock.

As far as Deadpool goes… shut the fuck up, moron.

Thor, Penance and Cap have the best alternate costumes.
    Songbird looks hot.
Iron Man looks too simple. They should have put the old Red and Grey costume.
I hoped they would put the Black Panther and Hercules as playables this time. But they insist on putting guys like Iceman and Reed Richards. Nobody plays them.

all are very douchey and im surprised theres still people not burnt out on deadpool. his alternate costume is disgusting but i could give or take his presence to begin with. the storyline should have been on a more cosmic level so we could play some cool characters. this storyline is the same shit marvel is doing in their books right now and for the past how many years. so this is pretty uninventive not that its a surprise coming from marvel. im a little peeved with the character selection in general. a lot of the same old shit.

Kinda dissapointed that there’s only two costumes per character. Hope they release more later.

Love Storm, Wolverine and Green Goblin’s alt costumes. Also Ms Marvel’s is cool. I prefer that costume to the one she usually wears. Not sure why, probably because it looks more militant.

Would have liked a different alt Jean costume. Not that there’s anything wrong with the First Class one; it’s just that I think, other than her Phoenix outfit, the one she wore in the 90’s cartoon is her coolest look.

The detail on Iron Man’s classic armour is cool, but I think his Ultimate look is better.

I really, really hope that Cyclops is released via downloadable content for the Xbox 360. He’s my favourite character.

but 4 me i didn’t like the code 2 much it interferes with saving your game.

I think that it sucks that they only have one per character. I also think that some of them could’ve been better choices. I mean, I get spider-man’s (Actually, I’m glad, seeing black suit spidey in every game out was starting to grate, but no doubt that if costumes are done as DLC, he’ll be in) because that waqs the costume he had for the first two thirds of the civil war. Venom’s makes sense, Thor should have been ultimate, Captain America they did what they could, all of his other costumes are kind of samey or crappy. I think Iron Man should’ve had Ultimate as an alternate costume, I would say War Machine, but I want him in as DLC later lol.

Alright, for the alternate costumes, some suck others are alright. The only thing is I have to say is they should add characters that are fun to play. I hate that the good ones you have to download and pay for. And I just wish they stop putting Daredevil, Iceman, Mr. Fantastic…ect in this game. I don’t know anyone who plays them and I’m sure if they took them out for Magneto or Rouge people would be a lot happier…and make better costumes…you can look at some of them and can tell the designers were all like “fuck it..” lol

Each character has different requirements, but mostly it’s beating 50 opponents as each. If you go to the start menu, click on STATS, and move over to the Heroes submenu, it will give you the requirements for each of these. Good luck!

I hate how I actually have to play as Spider-man because I’m a completionist and need to get his costumes and boosts. I haaaaate him. Spider-woman’s a thousand times cooler than him, even.

Is there an ultimate scorpion? Otherwise mac gargan goes for a blast to the past during the negative zone lvl. I just want continuity and to have venom fight b4 scorpy and goblin fight isn’t correct unless activision still thinks venom is eddy then make the correction for the costume selection. The problem really is what universe the game is following and to make characters match. I am glab venom has his own powers and not just spideys with a few different frames. And as for penance. His alternate costume makes no sense cause even after he learn to control his powers without pain he still chose to use the suit. He also had some of his speedball abilities as well. Speedball would have been a good alt costume
