It’s time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it’s Episode 425: Living In a Society.
On the episode Chris and Joe are back on their bullshit and discussing a bunch of new topics. Some of these include the recent crisis in Texas, the latest episode of WandaVision, the new trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the reboot of Mortal Kombat, the great South Korean sci-fi epic Space Sweepers, DC’s “adult” version of Titans, proper measurements of things, living in a society (of course) and a whole lot more.
They also manages to veer off-topic a few times, as happens with these two. So expect those tangents you know and love. Other than that, this episode is a bit shorter than the last few (thank goodness) but still manages to punch you right in the earholes.
Also, no formal picks this week except Chris’ reminder to watch and enjoy Space Sweepers. Oh, one more thing. Two more, really. If you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts and supporting the show on Patreon.
Thanks for listening!

The new year continues, and to keep the celebration going, here’s another new episode of The Flickcast. The hits just keep on coming!
On this week’s episode Chris and Joe continue their deep dive into the Marvel/Disney+ show WandaVision and discuss their personal theories about the characters, what’s happening on the show and where it’s all going. They also discuss Chris’ new favorite show Letterkenny, which Joe recommended to him (and you) during last week’s episode.
In addition, the boys talk about Godzilla vs Kong, monster movies, the early days of television, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, when we might finally see the latest James Bond movie and how nobody likes degens from upcountry.
Picks are also back this week with Joe picking the new trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong and Chris picking the latest film from writer/director John Lee Hancock called The Little Things with Denzel Washington, Remi Malek and Jared Leto.
It’s yet another big show. Let’s keep 2021 going in the right direction. Thanks for listening!

It’s a brand new episode of The Flickcast. And this time, we’re not alone.
That’s right, this week Chris and Joe welcome special guest Jason Inman. He’s an author, host, comic book writer, podcaster and Army veteran. Plus, he’s a great guy.
The three discuss Jason’s life growing up in Kansas, his time in the military and the development of his love for comics and writing. They also discuss other things including DC versus Marvel, Star Trek, first video game consoles and Jason’s dislike for Klingons.
They also talk about social media, fandom, the treatment of women in comics and entertainment and dealing with things during this weird time. They also get into life, family, the search for toys, talking to your kids about starting a YouTube channel and the first time he saw his comic for sale in a store.

It’s a brand new episode of The Flickcast. We’re still doing this! High fives all around.
Joe is off this week so Chris, and special guest Rick Marshall of Digital Trends, get deep into all-things movies, television and pop culture with discussions ranging from Zack Snyder’s Justice League to parenting during a pandemic to toxic fandom, the future of movies and movie theaters, their first “adult” movie experiences, what they’re watching and looking forward to and a whole lot more.
No really, they talk about a lot of stuff . . . and most of it’s pretty damn interesting. Why not give it a listen?

It’s a brand new episode of The Flickcast. Yes, that’s right, two in a row! We’re doing this!
On this episode Chris and Joe get deep into all-things DC and Warner Bros. as they discuss the cool trailers, teasers and developments from the recent Fandome event. That includes, of course, Wonder Woman 1984, the new Batman, James Gunn’s Suicide Squad and the Snyder Cut of Justice League.
They also manage to talk about a certain world event (but just a little), further developments in film and television production and how streaming content is going to be the “new normal” from now on. Plus, of course, the usual more.
Picks are back this week too. Yes! On this episode Chris picks the new HBO series Lovecraft Country and Joe picks something that’s not Marillion. What is it? You’ll have to listen to find out.

They said it would never happen, but it did. That’s right skeptics, we’re back! Back with a brand new episode of The Flickcast. It truly is the best of times . . . or something.
On this brand new episode (did we mention it’s brand new?) Chris and Joe discuss a bunch of new stuff including the state of entertainment, going to the movies (or not), what they’ve been watching, reading and doing during the “break,” how to keep busy and stay focused during the current world situation and a lot more.

This is the first of three (possibly four) recap videos from San Diego Comic-Con International 2016 from my trip this year. As it is my eighth year going as a part of The Flickcast, it has been an honor covering the convention in a variety of ways such as photo galleries, interviews, visual tours and unboxings. This year will be no different. Later this week, our Comic Con shopping haul video will release followed by our Field Trip video where we take you down to the Con floor and even some of the VIP parties.
Our first video kicks off with the Loot Crate Gallery of Heroes Convention Exclusive Crate. Founders of the monthly geek in a box phenomenon, Loot Crate has maintained the top spot in the subscription box community.

It’s time for a brand new episode of The Flickcast. And because we still don’t keep to a regular schedule these days, let’s say this one (like the last two episodes) arrived right on time. Still cool? Cool.
On this week’s show Chris and Joe continue to discuss the controversy surrounding the new Captain America comic, the 30th anniversary of Top Gun, assholes who boo at the movies, DC Rebirth, The Flash season finale, the end of a great Game of Thrones character and what it means for the show in general, the next James Bond, cans versus bottles and more. Plus, more.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the Rodeo Clown Double IPA from Karbach Brewery and Joe’s pick of the Samsung Galaxy Tap S2.

That’s right, it’s time for an all-new episode of The Flickcast. And yes, we realize it’s a bit late. We’re trying to get better. Honest.
Meantime, on this week’s show Chris and Joe talk about all sorts of stuff including the DC Universe, Captain America: Civil War, outsourcing the new Star Trek series, Game of Thrones least best kept secret, the new Jack Ryan movie and more. Plus, there’s even more.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the movie Deadpool, now available in your own home, and Joe’s pick of the new trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse. Yes, he picked a trailer. So?
