It’s a little hard to look fashionable in a t-shirt, especially one that spells out your nerdy geekdom for all the world to see. Unless, of course, it’s a Threadless t-shirt. Threadless is a great website that takes user-designed t-shirts about everything from space to movies to the environment and prints them for the masses. They just recently revealed this bad boy, and if you’re a Lord of the Rings fan you’d better check this out.
This new shirt from designer Reagan H. Lee turned one of J.R.R. Tolkein’s incredibly detailed maps of Middle-Earth into a map similar to a New York Subway Map, and threw it onto a t-shirt. The great thing about this shirt is how great it looks, while not completely spelling out “I’m a super duper geek” on your chest. Someone’s going to have to get up close and personal to read the thing, and if they do and they get it, you’ll become instant best friends.
“There and Back Again” is available on Threadless’ website for $18 bucks. Pick one up, but before you do, check out what we’re talking about after the jump.
