It’s been awhile since you’ve heard from me. There just wasn’t much summer TV that I was interested in. And yes, I am THAT guy who has not watched any Breaking Bad. But don’t worry, it’s on Netflix instant, so I will get to it at some point. I mean, I only have like 7 seasons of The X-Files to go.
Over the past year, some strong personal (and I’m sure staff) favorites have been Arrow, American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, Grimm, and The Following. And have no fear; we will be recapping all of those shows this season. I also wanted to throw in some new shows for this fall, as there were actually 15 that piqued my interest in one way or another.
But I managed to narrow it down to 4, based on obvious time restraints, as well as what fits well for this site. So in addition to the 5 “regulars” that I mentioned above, the 4 new fall shows that you be seeing reviewed here every week (for however many weeks they last) are: The 100 (CW), Dracula (NBC), Agents S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC), and Sleepy Hollow (FOX).
I haven’t decided yet on ABC’s midseason debuting Resurrection. It seems to have sort of a The 4400 vibe to it. And the fact that Red Foreman in it is definitely a plus. So you may be seeing reviews for that one as well.
And when can you expect to see these old and (hopefully) new favorites? Below are the currently scheduled premiere dates.
