I don’t really think she has the star status to start dissing roles in public, at least not yet. But we’ll talk more about that today on the show.

Beckinsale and Janssen are both too old. So is Charisma Carpenter for that matter. I know, I know, Wonder Woman is in her 30s. That’s not going to play on the big screen. I still say they should get a good script together and go after Jessica Biel.

Kate Bekinsale would be an interesting choice but I’ll bet, in the end, they go for an unknown and stack the deck with other big names. Although, it is sorta a tough character to bring to the big screen so maybe we’ll never see a movie at all.

    I guess we’ll find out.

Megan Fox thinks Wonder Woman is lame? I suspect that somebody had to hand her the crib notes on who Wonder Woman was. If she wants something a bit more edgy with solid weaponry we can drag out Grendel for her and go all 80’s but Mr. Bay wouldn’t make any money on it. Come on guys you all know that whoever wants to be Wonder Woman should at least have class and style ala Carter. How about Kate Bekinsale or Famkie Janssen? Just a thought but at least I can sleep comfortably knowing that Megan is out of the running. While you read this pull up a picure of Megan at the MTV Movie Awards and put it to the side, that should help.

Nathan Fillion would be brilliant as The Green Lantern. (He’d make an amazing Captain America, too.) He is built to play Superheroes, yet his acting range is so great that he can just as easily play the Everyman. He is young, strong, and beautiful. He is in the perfect age range to play a Superhero with depth, power, and gravitas. He is a man’s man and a genuine artist in his craft. All this, and he is a wonderfully awesome human being. Nathan Fillion is simply the best, better than all the rest, and he has my total support. Kcat

I saw this film in spite of all of the negative press I had been hearing…almost like passing a car crash (I knew I shouldn’t but I couldn’t stop myself). Sure enough, your review is spot on – all that was missing was the wraw wreh wraw transforming sound effects coming from the “alter” terminators. I thought this franchise ended with T2 personally but I stayed the course and watched the Terminatrix flick (which also sucked). This was deviod of ANY decent acting (though I think Worthington has potential in ANY other film), the edits were horrific, and the script was consistent with previous works (CATWOMAN, T3).

Thanks for your review – it only furhter bolsters that you guys have a good pulse on what’s crap or not crap IMO. Oh yeah, and I also learned, when you get that “passing a car crash” vibe…just keep driving and DON’T look – if you do, you might not like what you see (T4).

        Cheers
