We’ve been bringing you plenty of clips this week from tonight’s Christmas episode of NBC’s Community. This marks a pretty big episode for the freshman series, seeing as its their first Christmas episode, their final episode of 2009, and even special guest Anthony Michael Hall stops by to play “Bully Mike.”
This episode also marks the first time both Anthony Michael Hall and series regular Chevy Chase have been on screen together since National Lampoon’s Vacation back in 1983. The folks over at NBC were thoughtful enough to put together a behind-the-scenes package of tonight’s episode, “Comparative Religion,” and we’ve got that for you today.
In the episode, the gang gets ready for finals, as well as the winter break, while Abed crosses paths with the school’s resident bully (Michael Hall), while Jeff (Joel McHale) decides to get involved to protect his friend. Meanwhile, Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) decides to invite the study group to her Christmas party, and tries coming to terms with everyone’s different beliefs.
Check out the behind-the-scenes clip after the jump and be sure to catch the “Comparative Religion” episode of Community on NBC, tonight at 8PM/7PM Central.

December 20, 2009 at 6:57 amDear PRODUCERS,
Great show, if only showing what an Amaroid Christian is; A Christian like an Amway salesman who wont go away.
Could director/writers let Chevy Ad Lib more?
I have an idea for an episode I would challenge you to produce.
In this episode the cast considers that before the Bible was taken our of the U.S. School Curriculum in the 70’s, we had no drugs, no guns, no tasers and no cops in schools.
Now they are everywhere. Having the words of Buddha or The Koran alongside the 10 commandments would be wise; taking our ONLY moral code away is, well look at the fruit of that folly.
Considering the basic common law of our nation was built on the foundation of British common law,
which in turn was built on the foundation of the Holy Bible’s morality (Judeo/Christian ethic) held within the Scriptures,
and considering our nation has slipped into a fascist police state in which unfathomable new redundant conflicting laws are being passed continually rendering our courts a fiasco of injustice benefiting the crooked insider judges and shyster “public defenders” and leaving the indigent defendant a serf to be bought and sold at the whim of corrupt counties,
we the people have become chattel.
Altho I support the BALANCED (with the folly of other religions) expose’ of the ‘Amaroid’ bible thumper, it has been done and overdone IMHO.
My new show on UStream
“gGod-101”
will clear up any misgivings you may have about the fidelity of the Christian Message and the Power of Christ. I ask you to watch it and get in touch with me about the shows potential, what I need to change etc.
Good luck with “Community” I’ll be watching.
