On this episode Chris and Joe tackle a subject they don’t discuss very often: horror movies. That’s right, in honor of it being October and with Halloween coming up, the boys talk about some of their favorite horror films, what they like and don’t like about the genre and generally what scares them. Hint: it’s not clowns, although they are pretty scary.
And even if they don’t get completely into horror movies this time, they will on a special upcoming episode with a great guest. You’ll want to be here for that one. Meantime, they also get back into upcoming Marvel film and TV, heap even more praise on Enola Holmes, Millie Bobby Brown and the rest of the cast and renew their commitment to all-things Star Trek. Plus, the usual more.
This is gonna be a shorter episode synopsis as the actual episode is late due to some technical difficulties. So, we’ll just let it (and Chris & Joe) speak for themselves. Thanks for listening.

It’s been a while since Disney acquired Marvel, and if you’ve been wondering what sort of superhero goodness the company may bring, consider for a moment a Marvel theme park brought to life by the amazing Disney Imagineers. That’s precisely what Euro Disney is considering as they ink a brand-new 20-year agreement with the French government, the owners of the undeveloped land surrounding the park in Paris.
This recent deal would allow Euro Disney not only more time to develop to develop the land in Marne-la-Vallée, just outside of Paris, by extending the deadline from 2017 to 2030, it would offer the resort a way out of the economic downturn that has impinged on attendance in recent quarters. President of Euro Disney Philippe Gas, and the operator of Disneyland Paris, has gone on record to say that the idea for a ‘superheroes park’ is a long-term vision that could come as late as 2020, but if work on the Disney Studios park is completed, it could be even sooner.
You may recall that the original agreement with the French Government required that Disney would only be allowed to purchase additional plots of land once previous plots had been fully developed. As one of France’s first public-private development partnerships, the expanded agreement brings Euro Disney’s available land up to 2,230 hectares, plenty of room for a Spider-Man ride that hurtles park visitors from web to web in a life-size recreation of NYC. A fan-boy can dream, right?
