Well, here we are, a couple of episodes into the final season of Chuck. I predict this season there will be a lot of Subway sandwiches eaten, a choice Jeffster performance, and a plethora of geeky references. The training wheels are off, as Chuck has lost the intersect and Morgan is the new ace in the hole. The spy in tennis shoes and his team of rogue spies aren’t out for the count yet, though.
Read on, as the cast gives some parting words on their super secret missions on the mean streets of Burbank.
The Flickast: Chuck’s brother-in-law, Devon, has the nickname “Captain Awesome”. On a scale of 1 to 10, how awesome are you?
Ryan McPartlin: 10 being the most awesome? We have to clarify. (TF: Yes, 10 being the most awesome). It depends on what we’re talking about, like I feel I’m a really awesome dad and husband, so I’m a 10 at that area. But, there’s a lot of things that I can’t dedicate my time to that I think I could be really awesome at, like for instance, golf.
TF: What does Casey think of teaching the spy tricks of the trade all over again, this time to Morgan?

UPDATE: Now its official. Chuck will get 13 episodes next season and it will be the show’s last.
Although this news isn’t 100% confirmed by an “official” announcement from NBC, there’s multiple sources confirming that everyone’s favorite nerd/spy Chuck is getting another season on the newtork. That’s right Chuck fans, it looks like the intersect has dodged the cancellation bullet once again and will be back next year with more new episodes for season five.
Like with its previous renewals, it looks like NBC will be giving the nerd spy series thirteen episodes for season five with the option to add more if the show does well enough. As you may recall, Chuck pretty much made a career of living “on-the-bubble,” with cast, crew and fans never sure if NBC will give the show a full season, or if it will get a new season at all.
The show’s renewal this time seems especially amazing considering the rather low ratings it has had over the last weeks, down from even its normal mediocre levels. But with all the fan support, other series being cancelled and lots of other unknown variables, it makes sense that NBC would give the green light to a show that’s a consistant performer with a loyal fan base and reasonable cost to produce.
Whatever the reasons, we’re happy the show is coming back. How about you guys, are you happy Chuck is getting another season? Or, is it time for the show to exit gracefully?

Hard to believe that Chuck has been on NBC’s chopping block more than once. The show was on the verge of being cancelled after both season 2 and season 3, but now it’s back and better than ever with a fourth season and even plans for a fifth. This season has already seen the likes of Dolph Lundgren, Robert Englund, and Eric Roberts. Now a former film spy is joining in the action. From NBC.
After their first real fight, Chuck (Zachary Levi) avoids confronting Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) by going on a rogue mission that leads him to his mom’s MI-6 handler, Gregory Tuttle (guest star Timothy Dalton), and a mysterious Russian agent (guest star Ana Gasteyer). Meanwhile, Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) is on her own mission to uncover the Bartowski family’s long-buried past.
We’ve got three clips from tonight’s episode, that even feature Saturday Night Live veteran Ana Gasteyer. Be sure to check them out after the jump and catch Chuck Vs. The First Fight tonight on at 8pm ET on NBC.

Well friends, the long wait is finally over as the new TV season kicks off this week with the return of many of our favorite shows. Tonight sees the season premiere of one of our favorites, Chuck, with all new episodes sure to be even more fun and exciting than the last three seasons put together. Or, at least we hope so.
To get things started right we’ve got a whole batch of previews for tonight’s premiere to share with you. Among these videos are Zach Levi’s guided tour of what to expect this season, interviews with guest stars Dolph Lundgren and Linda Hamilton and Chuck learning that’s he’s been un-fired from General Beckman. Plus, Chuck discovers that even though he’s been away, things haven’t really changed in the spy business and then he and Morgan marvel at the all-new and improved Buy More.
Looking at all these previews, it seems this season looks to be pretty exciting indeed. What will happen and how is anyone’s guess at the moment but no matter what it is you can bet we’ll be watching.
Chuck season four kicks off tonight at 8/7C on NBC. Check out all the videos after the break.

We often bring you previews of current and upcoming TV programs and today is no exception. Some of these shows are brand new for the Fall and some, in the case of Chuck, are not new but returning and we’ve already covered them quite a bit before.
Today, we’ve got previews for The Event, Chase, Undercovers and, as I said, Chuck. For The Event Nick Wauters has three videos from his production diary which give you access to the set and series star Jason Ritter. Next up on Chase stars Kelli Giddish, Cole Hauser, Amaury Nolasco, Jesse Metcalfe and Rose Collins talk about the action-packed series.
For Undercovers we’ve got interviews with cast members Mekia Cox and Carter MacIntyre who talk about their characters and what the atmosphere is like on set. Last, but certainly not least, we’ve got a Chuck video where the cast and crew discuss the “bromance” between Chuck and his pal Morgan.
Check out all the videos after, of course, the jump. Look for all of these shows this Fall.

Yesterday, we brought you our exclusive chat with Chuck stars Zachary Levi and Joshua Gomez. In the interview Levi discussed how the addition of Linda Hamilton to the cast as Chuck and Ellie’s mother will add to the excitement of the coming season. It seems that this won’t be the only major twist in the season, as we could be looking at a pregnancy, as well.
According to stars Sarah Lancaster and Ryan McPartling, who play Ellie and “Captain Awesome” on the show, we can look forward to a major pregnancy arc the upcoming fourth season of Chuck.
We got the chance to speak with Sarah and Ryan about their baby-having ways, as well as a few cool guest stars we can expect to see in the coming episodes. Maybe even a tidbit on a returning cameo.
Check out the full video interview after the jump, and keep it here for more coverage and exclusive interviews from the cast of NBC’s Chuck.

Chuck may have been on the bubble last season, but it seems to be doing beyond well with the first three episodes airing last week on NBC. This week, things seem to be heating up for the gang, as Captain Awesome gets mistaken for a CIA agent and kidnapped. From NBC:
When Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) is mistaken for a super spy by the evil Sydney Price (guest star Angie Harmon), Chuck (Zachary Levi) must become his handler and show him the spy ropes. While on a mission for The Ring, they meet the mysterious Daniel Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh).
Meanwhile, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) gets promoted to assistant manager and must deal with Jeff (Scott Krinsky) and Lester’s (Vik Sahay) latest hijinks. Sarah Lancaster and Mark Christopher Lawrence also star.
That’s right, this week gets not one-but two separate guest stars; Angie Harmon and Brandon Routh. Check out four new clips from the upcoming “Chuck Versus Operation Awesome” episode, airing on NBC next Monday at 8/7C.

Chuck is one of those rare TV programs that manages to combine humor, action, drama and suspense all in one pretty satisfying package. Sure, the show takes a few missteps here and there, but overall its a solid hour of television that’s sure to please fans, especially of the more “geeky” variety. Even though it was “on the bubble’ as they say in the biz and was at risk of cancellation, we’re happy that it was finally granted a reprieve and is now coming back for a third season this Sunday with a special two hour premiere.
So, now that Chuck‘s coming back, what can we expect from season three? Well, fortunately our friends at NBC have graciously sent us a pretty awesome press kit about the upcoming season and were kind enough to include the first five episodes for us to watch and tell you a little about. Don’t worry, no spoilers.
When last we saw Chuck, he had had quite a day and at the end of it had been fully integrated with the brand new Intersect 2.0, complete with a whole array of new skills including martial arts and, apparently, guitar. It should also come as no surprise that even with these new skills in his head, Chuck still has a few problems getting the Intersect to behave exactly how he wants to utilize these new abilities.
Of course, as you’ve no doubt seen in the previews for season three, he does manage to engage his fighting skills some of the time, which makes for some pretty good action sequences. That guitar skill also comes in handy as well but, as is often the case, end up leading Chuck into even more danger.
