Yes folks, it’s that time again. Time for another exciting episode of your favorite podcast The Flickcast.
This week on the show Chris and Matt talk all things horror movies as well as other topics such as Tron Legacy, True Grit, holiday gifts and a whole lot more. Plus, as they always do, the boys made some more picks this week. However, we’re not going to tell you what they are, you’re just going to have to listen to find out.
No, not really. They are: Matt’s pick of the BBC series Hustle and the horror classic Poltergeist 3 and Chris’ pick of The Town, directed by and starring Ben Affleck and Die Hard featuring Bruce Willis and Snape himself, Alan Rickman.

Who doesn’t love horror? Our very own founders Chris Ullrich and Matt Raub sure do. They were the hosts of a brand new web series with the This Week In web TV network. Titled This Week in Horror, the new weekly series delves into the gruesome world of past and present projects in the horror genre.
Last night, they kicked off with a world premiere, starting things right with a Christmas Special. Sure, not many use horror and Christmas in the same sentence, until now. Films like Christmas Evil, Santa’s Slay, and Silent Night, Deadly Night are among the films that get showcased during their freshman episode.
They even get special guests like the writer/director of 2005’s Santa’s Slay David Steiman, and the creator of the 1980 classic You Better Watch Out, aka Christmas Evil, Lewis Jackson.
Check out the full episode after the jump, and be sure to check back in at their showpage to see when new episodes of This Week in Horror pop up.

This week on The Flickcast Chris and Matt are ready with an all-new episode. Topics discussed on this one include the new Thor trailer, the Golden Globe Award nominations, Jon Favreau not doing Iron Man 3, the Video Game Awards, new movie trailers and who should direct Iron Man 3 not that Favreau has stepped down.
Also, the boys made some new picks this week so you’ll know what to watch, play or buy for the holidays. The picks include Matt’s choice of the video game Enslaved and Chris’ pick of the Christmas horror film Santa’s Slay, featuring the wrestler Goldgerg as evil Santa. Believe us, it’s way better than it sounds.
