Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water…again, there is one more carnivore that you have to watch out for, and that’s Roger Corman’s Dinoshark. That’s right, the monstrous and ancient Dinoshark is making it’s way to Blu-Ray and DVD.
From the Anchor Bay press release:
Born in Antarctica, Dinoshark noses his way down the warmer currents to Mexico, towards a popular vacation spot crowded with party-goers unwittingly ready to fall prey to a prehistoric eating machine. When the killings begin, it becomes clear that no normal animal can be responsible for such savagery.
Local captain Trace McGraw (Eric Balfour – “24”, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Skyline) and marine biologist Carol (Iva Hasperger – “CSI”, “Cold Case”) seem to be the only ones convinced that the creature terrorizing their shores is something other than the expected man-eating shark. They enlist the help of the world’s only expert on the Dinoshark (Roger Corman himself). Together, will they be able to reel Dinoshark in?

We’ve already brought you a ton of previews for many of NBC’s new Fall shows. Now, as we usually do on Fridays, we’ve got previews for tonight’s all-new episodes of Eureka and Haven to share with you and help get you psyched for these great shows.
First up is Eureka and an episode entitled “The Ex Files.” In this episode, people from the past come back to haunt the lives of Carter and the gang. That’s the thing about the past, you usually want to forget most of it — especially the bad stuff.
Next up is a Haven episode entitled “Ain’t No Sunshine.” This episode is a scary ghost story that comes true when a dark spirit begins claiming lives in a Haven clinic. Ghost? Hospitals? Yeah, I’m scared.
Check out clips for both shows after the break. Eureka airs tonight at 9/8C followed by Haven at 10/9C only on Syfy.

Last week, The Flickcast brought you the first trailer for Skyline, a science fiction movie in which an extra terrestrial population sucks humans up into the sky for unknown purposes. Now, a new poster for the film has debuted on Shock Til You Drop. We, of course, have it for you here as well.
The movie, which lands in theaters on November 12, stars Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, and Brittany Daniel, among others. Most people I know are pretty excited to see this and have it on their “must see” lists.
The movie is directed by Greg and Colin Strause, who have previously done visual effects for some very high profile movies including Avatar, Iron Man 2, The Book of Eli, and Fast and Furious.
The poster features a spaceship of sorts hovering over a skyline, wreaking havoc. Check out the full poster after the jump.

This year at Comic-Con, one of the cooler features of the show didn’t actually take place on the con floor, but just outside of it, as Universal set up a machine outside that released several people-shaped bubbles into the heavens. Nobody had any idea what this meant, or what the movie even was, until now.
The first trailer for Skyline directed by The Brothers Strause, visual effects masters involved with such films as Iron Man, Jonah Hex, 2012, Bedtime Stories, Avatar and more, has hit the Interwebs. And we, of course, have it for you to watch.
Basically the film is about two guys who, hungover, walk outside after a late night party to see their world overrun by alien spacecrafts. People are drawn outside of their homes by a light that then sucks them up into the air.
The imagery itself is quite impressive, so we’ll see if the rest of the film can carry the weight. Even though the brothers have little directing experience, at the very least, you know the film will look pretty.
Check out the first full trailer of the film after the jump. Be sure to catch Skyline in theaters everywhere on November 12th.
