That’s right, it’s time for an all-new episode of The Flickcast! Finally, right? We had some issues last week but we think we’ve got ’em sorted out now. Well, at least the ones having to do with the podcast anyway. What are you gonna do, right?
On this week’s episode Chris and Joe jump into the new Fall TV season and discuss some of the shows they’re looking forward to seeing (and some they’re not). The shows you should probably check out include Blindspot, Minority Report, Supergirl, Ash vs. Evil Dead, Con Man, The Man In The High Castle and The Muppets. Shows you should probably avoid include Quantico, Life In Pieces, Heroes Reborn and The Bastard Executioner. There’s also quite a bit of talk about how great the show Longmire is. In fact …
Picks this week are unanimous in that both Chris and Joe pick the 4th season of Longmire, which recently arrived on Netflix. How’s that for consensus?
As always, if you have comments, questions, critiques, offers of sponsorship, or whatever, feel free to hit us up in the comments, on Twitter, at Facebook, Google+ or via email.

With Pacific Rim hitting theaters this week it’s a great time for FX to be promoting the new season of one of it’s best shows: Sons of Anarchy. What do these two have in common?
Well, in case you’re not familiar, both Sons of Anarchy and Pacific Rim feature actors Charlie Hunnam and Ron Perlman. So there you go. But this particular post isn’t about Pacific Rim, it’s about Sons of Anarchy.
Specifically, it’s about a preview for season six of the show. In said preview we get reacquainted with the resident of Charming, CA and the biker gang of lovable misfits we’ve come to know over the last five seasons.
Check out the clip after the break. Sons of Anarchy returns in September on FX.

Okay, here’s the deal. If you’re not watching Sons of Anarchy on FX you are missing out on one of the best shows on TV. It’s really just that simple.
The show has everything you could want: action, drama, great acting, compelling stories, sex, drugs, bikers, biker chicks and all the other essential elements that go into an entertaining and eminently watchable TV program.
The show is about to begin its fourth season and to get things started off right, we’ve got a promo for that season for you right here. In it you can get a sense of what I’m taling about. However, as cool as the promo is, it doesn’t nearly do the show justice. You’ll just have to watch it.
Check out the promo after the jump. Sons of Anarchy, which features Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Maggie Siff and Ron Perlman, returns to FX with an all-new season in September.

While shows like My Generation and Lone Star may be suffering on the bigger networks, cable network FX seems to be doing just fine with their lineup. As an example, they have just ordered a whole new season of Sons of Anarchy, rounding it up to a total of four years. An FX press release gives us the full details.
FX has renewed its critically acclaimed hit drama Sons of Anarchy for a fourth season, placing a 13-episode order from Fox 21 and FX Productions, announced John Landgraf, President and General Manager, FX Networks.
Eight all-new episodes remain in SOA’s current third season airing Tuesdays at 10pm et/pt, and beginning in two weeks the encore runs will air Tuesdays at 11pm and 1am, Fridays at 10pm and Sundays at 10pm. The third season finale will air on Tuesday, November 30.
In 2010, Sons of Anarchy ranks as basic cable’s number one scripted series in delivery of Adults 18-49. On a weekly, multi-telecast basis, Sons of Anarchy delivers 8.6 million Total Viewers and 5.9 million Adults 18-49. On a first-run, primary telecast basis, Sons averages 4.9 million Total Viewers and 3.4 million Adults 18-49. It is the highest rated series ever for FX.

If one could call Chuck Norris a “Man’s Man,” then you should very easily be able to call Ron Perlman a “Geek’s Man.” His work on countless comic and fantasy projects like Hellboy, Alien: Resurrection, Blade, Conan and more has endeared him to fans everywhere, making him our go-to tough guy in the world of geek.
Now, Perlman has found a home on Kurt Sutter’s FX series Sons of Anarchy as, yes, a badass biker. All week long, we’ve brought you new interviews with other notables from the show, and now it’s time for the “Geek’s Man” to take center stage as we have a chat with Ron Perlman himself.
In the interview, Perlman discussed Sons of Anarchy, some of the new projects he has coming up, how much of a relief it is to work on a show that doesn’t require hours of makeup, and how quickly he’d return to the Hellboy franchise.
Check out the full interview after the break. Be sure to catch the season 3 premiere of Sons of Anarchy next Tuesday, September 7th, at 10/9C on FX.

On Monday, we brought you an exclusive interview with Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter. He explained some of the intense story arcs we can expect to see in the upcoming third season of the series. We also got to speak with one of the show’s stars (and Sutter’s Wife) Katey Sagal.
Sagal has managed to stay topical since 1987 and Married With Children, moving on to Futurama in 1999, then to 8 Simple Rules and now Sons of Anarchy. Granted, she’s dropped the Married stigma, but it’s nice to sometimes think of her as our favorite leopard top-wearing housewife.
Now, Sagal carries on in the dramatic role of Gemma Teller Morrow, and we got her to spill the beans on the coming season. Check out our full interview after the jump, and keep it here all week as we bring you another interview with a very special cast member of Sons Of Anarchy, leading up to the season 3 premiere next Tuesday, September 7th, at 10pm on FX.

All this week, we’ll be bringing you some great interviews with the cast and creator of FX’s hit series, Sons of Anarchy, as we lead up to the epic season 3 premiere. Kicking it off, we got a chance to speak with the man who started it all, creator and executive producer Kurt Sutter.
Starting off as writer and producer for another FX favorite in The Shield, Sutter got such a taste for gritty crime dramas that he decided to do it himself. Not without taking a few of his own characters over with him.
Sutter spilled the beans on who exactly those crossover characters were, as well as what we can expect to see from some of the upcoming episodes from season 3.
Check out the full interview after the jump, and be sure to catch the season 3 premiere of Sons of Anarchy next Tuesday, September 7th, only on FX.

As you may have gathered by now, Sons of Anarchy is one of those TV shows we’re pretty much huge fans of. We’ve been talking about the show for quite some time and have tried to bring you as much info about as we can for fans and soon-to-be-fans alike.
Continuing that trend today we’ve got four new behind the scenes videos to share with you. These four videos give you more info on the show’s production team and its stellar cast.
In them you will see more info about Charming, the town where Sons takes place, watch as the cast supports St. Baldrick’s day and see the cast supporting the troops. All in all, a good bunch of videos.
Check them all out after the jump. Sons of Anarchy returns to FX on September 7th at 10/9C.

You may expect that as a contributor to a site like this I watch a lot of TV. You would be correct. However, that doesn’t mean I want to watch a lot of bad TV — which, believe me, happens more than I’ll admit.
Fortunately, one show I like to watch is neither bad nor something I’m reluctant to admit I really like. That show is FX’s Sons of Anarchy.
Created by former The Shield writer/producer Kurt Sutter, Sons takes a hard look at the relationships and exploits of a a motorcycle club and their quest for relevance in an ever changing world. The show is gritty, violent and pulls no punches when it comes to its characters and story. In short, it’s one of the best shows on TV and if you’re not watching it, you should be.
Take a look at a new promo for Season 3 after the break. Sons of Anarchy returns on September 7th only on FX. Leading up to the premiere, be sure to check back right here for some exclusive interviews with the cast and creators.

Former The Shield writer/producer and current Sons of Anarchy creator/exec. producer/writer Kurt Sutter has a blog and on it he tells it like it is about working in Hollywood, making the show, the motorcycle culture and pretty much anything else he damn well pleases. He’s also recently posted a list of frequently asked questions about his show, Sons of Anarchy, that he obviously gets asked, well, frequently.
The questions are some of the typical ones a successful person in Hollywood who is producing a well-known and respected show gets asked. In fact, he’s probably heard these questions so may times he’s lost count. Hence, the FAQ. Really, if you think about it, Sutter is not only providing a great show for us to watch but also a valuable public service as well. Gotta hand it to the guy.
Some of the highlights of the FAQ include:
I have a great idea for the show, can I send it you?
No. I cannot accept any ideas, pitches, stories, scripts, notions or dreams from anyone. It’s a legal issue. It protects me and you. If you send it, post it or email it — it will be shredded, removed and deleted. Sorry.
I want to be an actor on your show, how do I audition?
