As you may have noticed over the past few days we have posted some wrestling interviews from San Diego Comic-Con. This is our final “lost interview” from SDCC. Hope you enjoy!
Most people would know Shad best from his time at WWE as one half of the tag team Cryme Tyme. But this year, Shad wasn’t at Comic Con to promote wrestling. He was there to promote a graphic novel he has been working on called Assassin and Son. He also talks about how it has been a challenge for him breaking into the world of comics coming from a wrestling background. More can be found about Shad’s work on Assassin and Son at his website.
Check out the full interview with Shad from SDCC after the jump.

As you may have noticed over the past few days we have posted up some interviews from San Diego Comic-Con. We apologize for the delay but we had some video and editing issues that we had to work through and now they’re ready. Hope you enjoy!
Originally starting out in the WWE Diva Search, Layla worked her way through a stint as a member of Extreme Expose on ECW all the way to the Diva Championship. In the process, she became a part of one of the strongest pairings of WWE Divas in recent memory as one half of LayCool with Michelle McCool. This year, Layla made her Comic-Con debut at the Mattel booth. In our interview, Layla speaks to us about her progress with WWE in her six-year run with the company as well as her thoughts on Comic-Con being the pop culture event of the year. And even though we said we won’t hold her to it, we asked her who she cosplay as next year if she comes back to Comic Con next year.
Check out the full interview with Layla from SDCC after the break.

As you noticed yesterday, we will have some interviews with various WWE superstars coming out over the next few weeks from the last San Diego Comic-Con. Hope you enjoy them.
In our interview with Daniel Bryan, he talks about his first Comic-Con experience, shows how busy life on the road can be when he discusses finding out about his own action figures from the fans at the show and the excitement of the WWE being his first action figure being made. Daniel even gives us some insight in to just how popular his simple “Yes, Yes, Yes” catchphrase has gotten.
Check out the full interview with Daniel Bryan from SDCC below and stay tuned for more from The Flickcast.

Hey everyone, we have a few videos coming up over the next few days headed back to San Diego Comic Con with some interviews of various WWE Superstars. We apologize for the delay but we had some video and editing issues that we had to work through on them. Hope you enjoy!
One of the biggest character reinventions of the past year came from Brodus Clay. Originally just a monster who came to the aid of Alberto Del Rio during Del Rio’s war with Edge in 2012, Clay returned to the WWE programming in January of this year as the Funkasaurus Brodus Clay. Wearing a track suit and matching fedora, Brodus danced his way to the ring alongside his two Funkadactyls. Brodus talked to the Flickcast about being a long time comic fan. He also talked about the two sides of himself that come out in the ring during competition.
Check out the full interview with the Funkasaurus Brodus Clay from SDCC below and stay tuned for more from the Flickcast.

Hey everyone, we have some videos coming up over the next few days that take us back to San Diego Comic-Con for interviews with various WWE Superstars. We apologize for the delay but we had some editing issues that we had to work through. Hope you enjoy!
In addition to movies and comics, action figures have a huge presence at Comic-Con. It is only fitting that WWE would choose to send the Internet Champion Zack Ryder to Comic Con to represent the company at the Mattel booth. On Zack Ryder’s now famous YouTube show as well as his interview on Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling Podcast, it has become public knowledge that Ryder is an action figure fanatic.
We got to talk to Ryder about his love of figures as well as his hopes for WrestleMania 29, set in his own backyard in New Jersey. Zack even gives us some insight into his thoughts on the Jersey Shore.
Check out the full interview with Long Island Iced Z Zack Ryder from SDCC below and stay tuned for more from The Flickcast.

At Comic Con, The Flickcast team got to finally get our hands on the Wii U and Nintendo’s minigame packed NintendoLand. Like we talked about in our E3 coverage, NintendoLand will feature a collection of mini games inspired by Nintendo franchises, past and present. In total, NintendoLand will contain 12 mini games with half of them already announced and five were playable for us in the Nintendo lounge at SDCC.
First we got to try out Animal Crossing: Sweet Day. Inspired by the stuffed animal-like art design of Animal Crossing, this mini game puts three players on a map where they must collect candies that are placed in various locations, sometimes requiring multiple players to stand on a location together to release the candies. The more candies the players collect, the fatter their heads get and the slower they move. At the same time, they are being pursued by a fourth player who is controlling two guards using the Wii U controller, independently controlling each guard with the different analog sticks and using the controller’s screen.
Communication is key between the players in their hunt for the candy as they need to warn each other about oncoming threats and gather at certain locations to unleash the larger stashes of candy. The player using the Wii U controller gets to really have the most fun though as they get to chase and troll the other players by using pincher style attacks to corner them.

At Comic Con, Capcom took the time to let us check out some of their newest titles coming out over the next year. During our time at the Capcom booth we got hands on with Resident Evil 6, the rebooted DMC and the next installment to the Lost Planet franchise.
For Resident Evil 6, we were treated to extended versions of the demo currently available to those who purchased Dragon’s Dogma. In the campaigns we got to play, the action was fast and furious but there was also that intensity often found in Resident Evil games where every bullet needs to count. In addition to deranged people with firearms of their own there were creatures that would assault us with a blast of spikes that would knock you off your feet, leaving you open to further attack.
Also, check out the newest Resident Evil 6 trailer after the jump. Don’t forget that Resident Evil 6 hits the XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 2nd, 2012.

As we did yesterday, we’re brining you even more from the cast of Community including the video of their panel at Comic-Con. In addition, we’ve got vids from the Grimm pane as well as interviews with some of the cast.
We’ve also got a couple vids concerning a new show we’re pretty interested in: Hannibal. These also include the Comic-Con panel as well as an interview with series exec. producer Bryan Fuller.
But no, we’re not giving you any more pics of Alison Brie and Gillian Jacobs like we did yesterday. Sorry, that was a one time thing. . . Well, we’ll see. We kinda like ’em too.
Check out the vids after the break.

Comic-Con is the Mecca of pop culture. People from every facet of the entertainment industry are there and for good reason. If a movie is going to be huge in 2012, it started at Comic Con 2011 (or even sooner). Even television shows that have nothing to do with “geek culture” can be found at the Con.
But of course at Comic-Con, everyone is able to let out their inner geek. Whether it’s a t-shirt that proudly proclaims “Nerd” to the world or a twenty-five piece, thousand dollar Iron Man costume with light-up chest piece, everyone is able to let their geek flag fly.
The hardest part of Comic-Con is it is impossible to see everything, whether or not you are on the show floor or trying to follow it from home. We hope that this photo gallery can help fill in some of those spots of the Con that you missed out on. Check it out and share it with your friends and hopefully see you there next year.

Some of the stars of Community took time to be interviewed during Comic-Con in San Diego. We’ve got those interviews for you right here. Hey. Are you paying attention? Hello? Hello? I see we’ve lost you.
When you’re done staring at the pic above, the interviews are after the break. You’re welcome.
Community returns to NBC in the Fall. Enjoy.
