Hey everyone, we have some videos coming up over the next few days that take us back to San Diego Comic-Con for interviews with various WWE Superstars. We apologize for the delay but we had some editing issues that we had to work through. Hope you enjoy!
In addition to movies and comics, action figures have a huge presence at Comic-Con. It is only fitting that WWE would choose to send the Internet Champion Zack Ryder to Comic Con to represent the company at the Mattel booth. On Zack Ryder’s now famous YouTube show as well as his interview on Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling Podcast, it has become public knowledge that Ryder is an action figure fanatic.
We got to talk to Ryder about his love of figures as well as his hopes for WrestleMania 29, set in his own backyard in New Jersey. Zack even gives us some insight into his thoughts on the Jersey Shore.
Check out the full interview with Long Island Iced Z Zack Ryder from SDCC below and stay tuned for more from The Flickcast.

One of the biggest presentations this year at Comic-Con was The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey panel in Hall H. Peter Jackson and company showed off twelve minutes of new footage and a brand new production vlog.
While it is highly unlikely we will ever see the footage in its comic-con form, we have been graced with the production vlog. In fact it has even been enhanced to give us a peek at Peter Jackson’s experience at the convention itself.
Typically these vlogs do a wonderful job of making you feel apart of the larger whole that is The Hobbit production, but the additional Comic-Con aspects actually allow fans everywhere to feel, at least in a small way, like they partook in The Hobbit Comic-Con experience.
Aside from all the con goodness on the front end, the main vlog itself is also one of the better yet released. It detailed the final days of shooting, and gave us our first look at some key elements.
You can check out the full new vlog after the jump, and I am sure no one needs reminding that The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters this December 14th.

As we did yesterday, we’re brining you even more from the cast of Community including the video of their panel at Comic-Con. In addition, we’ve got vids from the Grimm pane as well as interviews with some of the cast.
We’ve also got a couple vids concerning a new show we’re pretty interested in: Hannibal. These also include the Comic-Con panel as well as an interview with series exec. producer Bryan Fuller.
But no, we’re not giving you any more pics of Alison Brie and Gillian Jacobs like we did yesterday. Sorry, that was a one time thing. . . Well, we’ll see. We kinda like ’em too.
Check out the vids after the break.

Comic-Con is the Mecca of pop culture. People from every facet of the entertainment industry are there and for good reason. If a movie is going to be huge in 2012, it started at Comic Con 2011 (or even sooner). Even television shows that have nothing to do with “geek culture” can be found at the Con.
But of course at Comic-Con, everyone is able to let out their inner geek. Whether it’s a t-shirt that proudly proclaims “Nerd” to the world or a twenty-five piece, thousand dollar Iron Man costume with light-up chest piece, everyone is able to let their geek flag fly.
The hardest part of Comic-Con is it is impossible to see everything, whether or not you are on the show floor or trying to follow it from home. We hope that this photo gallery can help fill in some of those spots of the Con that you missed out on. Check it out and share it with your friends and hopefully see you there next year.

Some of the stars of Community took time to be interviewed during Comic-Con in San Diego. We’ve got those interviews for you right here. Hey. Are you paying attention? Hello? Hello? I see we’ve lost you.
When you’re done staring at the pic above, the interviews are after the break. You’re welcome.
Community returns to NBC in the Fall. Enjoy.

It is hard to describe exactly just how gratifying it is to see Marvel own the cinema world right now. When Marvel first got the crazy idea in their heads to make their own movies, little did the world know that in a few short years we would be here.
Proving the geek cacophony right, that just telling the stories like they are told in the comics, has become an era defining moment. It has taken the comic book movie fad and turned it into a full-fledged cinematic genre that shows no sign of slowing down.
I hope you will pardon a little hyperbole on my part, but that is the kind of emotion that is running through my mind as the scope of Marvel’s movie-verse panel settles in my mind. Marvel trotted out their road map for ‘Phase 2’ this weekend in San Diego, and it brings ‘Phase 2’ into much greater focus.
Marvel officially announced a five film slate that, much like the five films before The Avengers, will act as a lead up to Avengers 2. Even though these films will lead towards a single event film, that doesn’t mean Marvel is treating them as tiny pieces to a whole.
On the contrary, Marvel is actually treating each individual franchise like they would the solo run of these characters in the comics. Which might just be the secret sauce that makes these films individually exciting, but collectively intoxicating.

Fox’s Fringe is one of those we just really love. It’s so fun and has so many mind-bending twists and turns it’s always entertaining. Plus, it features a host of cool characters who make it even more fun to watch each week.
Fortunately, the show is coming back for a fifth season in the Fall and to get fans ready, Fox released a brand new trailer for the season at Comic-Con. Of course, we grabbed it as soon as it was available.
Let’s just say the trailer is cool and we’re very excited for the new season. Check out the trailer after the break.

Lots of info coming out of Comic-Con in San Diego this week. Of course, we’re pretty interested in anything where comics and movies converge so when Marvel makes some announcements, we’re gonna let you know.
As we predicted yesterday, Marvel’s Kevin Feige confirmed August 1, 2014 as the release date for the next super-hero ensemble: Guardians Of The Galaxy. But wait, there’s more.
Edgar Wright said he and Joe Cornish have written Ant-Man and Wright shot a test that he showed to the crowd. Apparently, people loved it and Wright’s description of the tiny hero who “kicks ass one inch at a time.”
But there’s even more. Captain America: The Winter Solder, the confirmed title of the sequel, is set for an April 4, 2014 release. Alan Taylor is set to direct Thor: The Dark World and it will arrive on November 8, 2013.
Also, as we told you before, Shane Black is still hard at work on Iron Man 3 and working towards its release date of May 3, 2013. They also showed footage from the movie which included Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin and Guy Pearce as an as yet unknown bad guy.
How’s that for a whirlwind of announcements? Anyone else need a minute?

As always, Psych received a warm welcome at San Diego Comic-Con, packing Ballroom 20 on Thursday. The show about fake psychics but real detectives is fast approaching its 100th episode and the cast and crew are just as excited as the fans.
Some of the tantalizing tidbits about season 7 of the USA Network show include an episode on internet dating, one set in Mexico, a two-part musical episode with all original music, and an episode inspired by Cirque du Soleil. Gus (Dule Hill) also gets a girlfriend this season, newcomer Parminder Nagra of ER and Bend It Like Beckham fame.
But what we really want to know about is that milestone 100th episode. While most of the details are being kept under wraps we do know that the plot will be an homage to the movie Clue. Plus several cast members will be returning including Christopher Lloyd, Lesley Ann Warren, and Garrett Morris. If that wasn’t enough, fans will be happy to hear that there’s no end in sight for Psych. “We’re producers that want to make this show forever,” said Executive Producer Steve Franks in an interview.

We’ve been following director Gareth Edwards’ career since he premiered his film Monsters during SXSW in 2010. Back then our own Chris Ullrich gave it a good review and if you ask him, he knew even then Edwards was only at the beginning of his career and destined for great things.
Well, fast forward to today and during a panel at Comic-Con a surprise visit by Edwards also brought with it the first footage from his next sci-fi monster flick: Godzilla. We don’t have the footage to show you yet but until we do, you can check out the first poster for the movie right now.
As it’s a teaser poster, it’s pretty simple. Still, it helps to set the mood and from what we’ve heard about the footage from the film, what a mood it is. Can’t wait to check it out.
Have a look at the full poster after the break. Look for Godzilla to hit theaters next year.

It’s Comic-Con time so it seems appropriate to have some new clips previewing Sunday night’s all-new episode of True Blood. After all, the show is very successful, has legions of fans and also has quite a presence at the Con.
So, that brings us to the clips. We’ve got two for you and they’re titled “Sookie’s Gross” and “Jason’s Promise.” We can’t know for sure what those titles mean, but we can probably guess.
“Sookie’s Gross” probably means, well, you know, she’s gross. Probably because she did the nasty with a werewolf. Vampires don’t like that.
As for “Jason’s Promise” we can only surmise that Jason promises that he will or won’t do something. See, it doesn’t take a rocket doctor to figure these things out, does it?
Check them both out after the break. True Blood airs on HBO Sunday night at 9/8C.

Whether you loved, hated, or were merely disappointed by TRON: Legacy, the newest installment in the TRON saga should pique your interest. The animated Disney series TRON: Uprising received an incredible reception from fans of all ages at San Diego Comic-Con and it’s easy to see why.
Fans looking for the happy place between the updated graphics showcased in Legacy and the enduring storyline of the original movie will find that place in Uprising. Set after the end of TRON but before the sequel, the series, which premiered on June 7, follows a young program named Beck (Elijah Wood).
As the latest light cycle riding, identity disc welding hero of The Grid, Beck becomes the unlikely leader of a rebellion. An apprentice to the legendary warrior Tron (Bruce Boxleitner), Beck earns the name The Renegade as he battles against the villains Clu and General Tesler (Lance Henriksen).
Also starring Mandy Moore (Mara), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Paige), and Nate Corddry (Zed), TRON: Uprising airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on Disney XD, with encore episodes on Friday nights at 10 p.m. on Disney Channel.
Check out the clips after the break.
