It’s an all-new episode of The Flickcast for your listening pleasure. Seven new ones in a row. It really, really must be some kind of record.
On this week’s episode Chris and Joe discuss a bunch of new and recurring topics. What are these new and recurring topics you may ask? Well, we could tell you, but where’s the fun in that? You can probably guess what one of them is, at least, if you look really closely at the above photo.
Don’t worry if you don’t know what’s happening in advance. It’s ok. Rest assured, this episode is a good one.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of director David Ayer’s End of Watch and Joe’s pick of renowned comic book writer Dan Slott. We’ve even got a special guest pick for you too.

Today is Wednesday, so that means there’s a brand new episode of The Flickcast for you. And, like each one before it, this episode is pretty darn good. It also might be a bit controversial.
On this week’s show Chris and Joe take on some new topics and revisit old ones — as you might expect. But really, they pretty much spend most of their time talking about Star Wars and the new cast announced recently. They also spend some time discussing women, haters and their general dislike for people who whine. Yeah, this is gonna be good.
There’s also more, of course. And per usual, you won’t be able to handle it all.
The guys also made picks this week. If you want to know what they are, you’ll just have to listen. Don’t worry, it will be time well spent. Trust us.

It’s that time again, folks. That’s right, a brand new episode of The Flickcast is here and it’s yours for the taking. For free.
That’s right, free. As in free beer. And really, who doesn’t love free beer? Nobody, that’s who. Yeah, we’ve used that example before, but so what? It still works. Anyway. . .
Moving right along, Chris and Joe are back and ready to rock and roll with a whole slew of new and recurring topics. Some of these topics include the change in release date of Superman vs. Batman, Star Wars VII script news, Elementary, the return of Sherlock, fanboys and haters, the true meaning of life and a whole lot more.
No, not really. We just slipped that “true meaning of life” one in to see if you were paying attention.
This week’s picks include Chris’ pick of the novel Pandemic by Scott Sigler and Joe’s pick of the audio version of the novel Redshirts by John Scalzi and read by Wil Wheaton.

The other day when interviewed by a Chicago reporter from WGN9 at a ceremony for *Michigan Avenue* magazine, Harrison Ford was asked about the rumors of the “old gang” getting back together for the next Star Wars. Ford hesitantly replied, “I think it’s almost true. I think… I’m looking forward to it. It’s not in the bag yet, but I think it’s happening.” When listening to Ford, you can tell there’s more that he knows than he is allowed to say and until all the I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed, he probably isn’t going to be saying more.
Ford. Hamill. Fischer. All on screen together again. It really is a Star Wars fan’s dream come true. But that begs the question, what is going to happen in the new films featuring these main characters from the original trilogy?
