The Jersey Shore spin off you have all been waiting for is finally here. No, it’s not a loop of that clip of Snooki getting punched in the face from season one. It’s also not the long reported Snooki and Jwoww spinoff. It’s actually DJ Pauly D that is the first to get his own spinoff. Starting March 29, fans will be getting more of Pauly thanks to The Pauly D Project.
The Pauly D Project will chronicle DJ Pauly D DelVecchio’s life when he’s not in Seaside Heights or Italy with Snooki and the rest of the Jersey Shore gang. Pauly D is trying to make it as a big name DJ and this will follow his exploits along the way. We will get to watch him cut a recording contract with 50 Cent and he even tours as one of Britney Spears’ opening acts.
“It’ll be probably along the lines of, I used to be this DJ in Rhode Island, DJing two sets a week, hustling, promoting,” Pauly explained to MTV News back in January 2011. “And all of a sudden, I’m on this show, and now they’re sending private jets for me to DJ for these huge crowds, yet I’m still the same guy that was DJing for 200 people, just loving life.

It’s official. DJ Hero 2 has gotten the biggest lineup of dance and hip hop artists all into one place at the same time (and thankfully no one is getting shot). Though the full song list of mashups featuring these all-star artists hasn’t been released yet, you can already tell it is going to be big when looking at the level of talent being used in the game.
Take a peek below at the full list of artists coming to DJ Hero 2 and stick to the Flickcast for more news on it as it becomes available.

While this trailer hit the web a few days ago, we’ve been sitting on it because frankly we didn’t think it was real. After a few days and nobody else seemingly raising an eyebrow about it, we’ve come to terms with the very tangible existence of Danny Trejo’s Vengeance.
Why did we think the trailer was a fake? A few reasons, actually. The film looks like it was shot with a low-rent DV camera, which doesn’t make much sense considering the talent involved. That talent? Names that range from Donal Logue to Jason Mewes to 50 Cent to pro wrestler Diamond Dallas Page and UFC fighter Rashad Evans.
Also (and this could just be the trailer, and not the film itself), this looks like a blatant copy of another Grindhouse-styled revenge story starring Trejo, ala Robert Rodriguez’s Machete.
Even with that, the film is very much real. It comes from indie filmmaker Gil Medina who originally wrote the film in 2006 about Trejo being wrongfully accused of murdering his family only to get released and exact revenge as Jack’s Law. It seems like Medina wasn’t quite done with the story, as he’s doing it all over again in Vengeance.
Check out the trailer after the jump and you’ll get what we mean when we think the film is a bit ridiculous. Be sure to keep an eye out for Danny Trejo’s Vengeance when it hits theaters on November 11th, two whole months after Machete.

As you have seen, we’ve been closely following the release of DJ Hero, the next step in rhythm gaming from Activision. Today is no exception as the company has now released the full 93 song set list for the game. While all club styled mixes, remixes and mashups, DJ Hero boasts one of the most varied collection of artists in any Hero franchise release.
With everything from the Jackson 5 to 2Pac, Daft Punk to Queen and everything in between, that variety of DJ Hero’s playlist is unmatched, as long as you like mashups and remixes. If you are a musical purist to the extreme, this game isn’t really what you’d be looking for.
In addition, the game will feature 10 tracks where players can plug in their Guitar Hero guitar and play alongside their friend on the DJ Hero turntable for a true real time rock / dance mashup. But the track we are most excited to try out… Vanilla Ice “Ice Ice Baby” vs. MC Hammer “You Can’t Touch This” which brings together the two most famous “hip hop” acts from our youth and combines two of the catchiest songs of the early nineties.
Click through to check out the full set list.
