What more can be said? The upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron looks amazing. We can’t wait for it to arrive. Until then, we keep getting cool trailers and more to keep everyone interested until the release.
As if that was needed at all. However, Marvel keeps releasing new promos, so we will keep bringing them to you. This time around it’s a new TV spot featuring the whole gang and a whole lot of action.
Pay particular attention to what Captain America can do with a motorcycle, other than just looking cool while riding it. You’ll enjoy it.
Check out the new spot after the break. Look for Avengers: Age of Ultron to hit theaters on May 1.

Given that it already leaked, we have to guess Disney saw the writing on the virtual wall and decided to let this one out early. Or, it’s all Hydra’s fault.
Whatever the reason, we’re thrilled to see the first real look at the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron. In short, it looks awesome.
There’s just no other word to describe it. Check it out after the break.
Look for Avengers: Age of Ultron to hit theaters next April. We can’t wait.

That’s right folks, it’s a brand new episode of The Flickcast. And just like last week, you thought nothing good was gonna happen this week. Wrong again.
On this week’s show, Chris and Joe discuss and debate the major announcements from Comic-Con in San Diego, including all the scoop on Marvel, DC and their respective movie franchises. They also manage to throw in a bit of comics and TV news/discussion too, just for the heck of it. Plus, we finally get our first look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. And yes, there’s also the usual “more.”
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the TV series The Strain and Joe’s pick of the upcoming Simpsons / Family Guy crossover episode. Should be epic.

It’s a brand new episode of The Flickcast this week and Chris and Joe are ready for action. Speaking of action, this week’s topics include all sort of action from some of the boy’s favorite new TV shows.
Of course, that means the Joss Whedon/Marvel series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Blacklist, Sleepy Hollow, Arrow, the return of The Walking Dead and a whole lot more. They go a little deeper into these shows and what makes them good, and what they could improve. Plus, the aforementioned “more.” That’s right, a lot more.
Picks this week include Joe’s pick of the new book, A Matter of Time by Rich Handley, which is all about the Back to the Future franchise, and Chris’ pick of some awesome paper products from the folks at Doane Paper and also a great pen from Uni-Ball called the Jetstream. Yes, he still likes to write things by hand, with a pen, in a notebook. So?

Sure, it might remind us a bit of Silence of the Lambs, but that doesn’t mean it’s not cool. In fact, we’re really enjoying NBC’s new Fall show The Blacklist.
In case you’re not familiar, The Blacklist concerns James Spader’s character Raymond “Red” Reddington, a former FBI bigwig turned international bad guy who suddenly gives himself up one day and says he’s ready to go legit and spill all his secrets. The catch? He will only tell said secrets to one person: Elizabeth Keen, a new agent barely out of training.
We like the show (mostly because of Spader, who’s great in it) and if you give it a watch, you just might as well. To get you even more interested, our pals at NBC have sent us some previews an other behind the scenes stuff.
Check all of it out after the break. The Blacklist airs Monday nights at 10/9C.

This week on The Flickcast, Chris and Joe are back from a week off and jump right in again discussing all things geek. That, of course, means movies, TV, comics and even a little tech thrown in, just for fun.
This week’s episode includes lots of topics, but especially concerns the new Fall TV season, and geek-centric shows in particular. Some of these include the brand new Joss Whedon/Marvel series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Blacklist, Sleepy Hollow, Arrow, Seth MacFarlane’s controversial sitcom Dads and a whole lot more. Plus, even more fun stuff.
Picks this week include Joe’s pick of the new album by singer/songwriter, and former Marillion frontman, Fish and Chris’ pick of the Dropcam HD device.

A movie can often only be as good as its villain. Luckily for Marvel, Tom Hiddleston stole the show in both Thor and The Avengers as the god of mischief Loki. With Loki appearing to play a large part in Thor: The Dark World, it is time for someone else to step up to take the fight to Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the titular role as Ultron.
Most likely in the style of Darth Vader being voiced by one actor and having another inside the suit, James Spader has been formally cast as the villain in Marvel’s movie franchise. Hopefully there will be a way for the character to emote facially to capture the talents of Spader unlike Willem Defoe’s role in Spider-Man. Even though he appeared in the non-vampire slayer version of Lincoln, Spader has some geek cred going back almost twenty years to Stargate.
Still unnamed for Avengers: Age of Ultron are the actors behind Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch. It will be interesting to see who gets cast as the brother and sister combo and if Marvel touches on their origin which includes a father who is tied to another Marvel franchise under the control of Fox. Personally, I vote for a real life brother and sister like Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal to make the awkward sexual tension between the characters that much stranger.

Now that Comic-Con is all about movies, comics, games, pop culture and tv, all the major networks show up to promote their series. Our friends at NBC are no exception.
They had several shows at the Con including returning series Revolution and Grimm as well as new series The Blacklist, Dracula and Believe. Of course, they recorded all the panels and of course, they sent them to us so we could share them with you.
So, following are promos and panels from these shows, and more. Some of the highlights include more about the mysterious Red Reddington, a stellar mashup of Sergeant Wu’s snarky one-liners from Grimm, a first look at season two of Revolution.
All of this, and more coming to NBC this Fall. Check out all the stuff after the break.
