Hey, it’s a new episode of The Flickcast! We know it’s late (again) and we apologize (again) and we’re sorry we missed last week (again). We were going to blame Chris and his move to Austin again, but this one is all Joe’s fault. So get off Chris’ back, okay?
Anyway, on this week’s show Chris and Joe discuss all the major developments at last week’s Comic-Con in San Diego. Some of these include the Star Wars: The Force Awakens behind-the-scenes video, the popularity of Harrison Ford, the new Batman vs. Superman trailer, Ash vs. Evil Dead, Suicide Squad, Heroes Reborn, bootleg and “leaked” footage, doing it for the lulz and a lot more.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the awesome USA show Mr. Robot and Joe’s pick of the awesome comics store Olympic Comics.

Hey, it’s a new episode of The Flickcast! We know it’s late (again) and we apologize (again). You can still blame Chris and his move to Austin. That’s going to be the default for the next few weeks at least.
We really will try to do better in the future. No, really. Until that magical time arrives, however, here’s what’s happening on this week’s episode.
Chris and Joe talk Daredevil season 2 (aka Daredevil vs. Punisher), Star Trek: Beyond, the new season of True Detective and a whole lot more. Yep, more.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the new AMC series Humans and Joe’s pick of the Netflix series Between.
As always, if you have comments, questions, critiques, offers of sponsorship, or whatever, feel free to hit us up in the comments, on Twitter, at Facebook, Google+ or via email.

This week, Chris and Matt tackle the hot-button subject of Nerd Girls and Matt explains his editorial from earlier this week in which he calls out top-level models and actresses for pandering to the ever-loving nerd community.
Click here to see the editorial rant that started it all.
Also, the duo discuss a uninspiring episode of Smallville from last week, get ready for the upcoming finale of next week’s Smallville, and gush about how excited they are for the Paintball finale of Community this week.
As for their picks, the boys went a little more obscure this week. Matt dug deep into his knowledge of Ozploitation films to pick the 1984 Philippe Mora classic The Return of Captain Invincible, a musical comedy starring Alan Arkin and Christopher Lee. Chris also went old school and picked the first season from the original Twilight Zone series, which is currently available on Instant Netflix.

As families shop for gifts, travel to be with loved ones and make final preparations for the holiday season, we here at The Flickcast are doing the same. In order to let our contributors have some fun during the holidays and spend time with their families, we are taking some time off during the next couple weeks.
Consequently, we will have a reduced posting schedule for articles. Of course, if any breaking news hits, we’ll bring it to you. Also, we will have more in our series of “Best Of 2009” articles covering topics such as movies and games, so be sure and watch out for those.
In addition, we won’t be having a podcast this week. However, we will return next week with our “Best Of” edition of The Flickcast podcast where we will discuss everything movie, tv, comics, games and geek we thought was the best of 2009 and of the decade. So, be sure to check that out next Wednesday right here and in iTunes.
For now, we thank you for being here and from all of us at The Flickcast, we wish you the best for the holiday season and for the new year.
Here’s to a happy, healthy and even better 2010!
