That’s right. It’s time for a brand new episode of The Flickcast. Get excited. It’s a great day.
On this week’s episode Chris and Joe discuss a bunch of new stuff including more about Game of Thrones, Netflix’s The Defenders, The Punisher, the new Star Trek, revenge as a motive and more. Plus, the usual even more.
No beer selections again this week because the boys are recording in the morning again. And drinking in the morning is, well, probably a bad idea. Probably. Anyway, if you do drink beer (or whatever), try to buy local. It helps and it’s just a nice thing to do.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of an item that everyone should have: a first aid kit. Joe’s pick this week is a challenge to all to donate to a relief organization like the American Red Cross or the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.

Premiering at WonderCon 2016, Justice League vs. Teen Titans brings the young team of heroes back to life with renewed energy and focus in one of DC Entertainment’s best animated films to date.
After Damien Wayne/Robin’s aggression nearly threatens a Justice League mission, he is sent to train with the Teen Titans. He’s hardly arrived when Raven’s (Taissa Farmiga) satanic father, Trigon (Jon Bernthal), plots an escape from his inter-dimensional prison. To aid in his escape, Trigon’s demons possess members of the Justice League. The Teen Titans are left with the impossible task of defeating the JLA and saving the planet.
“Teen Titans is like The Breakfast Club or Degrassi High,” said producer James Tucker.
With all of the emotions and tempers of teenagers heaped on top of having various powers and abilities, the Titans might as well be an angsty teen drama. Damien (Stuart Allan) doesn’t help matters. Still stubborn and arrogant, he’s certain he’s too good for the team.

We’re not even going to try to pretend this time. The truth is, we get the episodes out as soon as we can. We hope you enjoy them. And on that note, it’s time for a brand new episode of The Flickcast.
On this week’s show Chris and Joe talk about the latest trailer for Daredevil Season 2 and the show itself, Indiana Jones 5, Spider-Man finally joining the MCU, the new trailer for Captain America: Civil War, Screening Room and a whole lot more.
It’s a packed show this week so the boys decided to skip the picks. Don’t worry, they’ll be back next week.

That’s right, it’s Saturday again. Not Friday. Again. And yes, we do have a new episode of The Flickcast just for you.
On this week’s show Chris and Joe try to explain the X-Files, talk about Agent Carter, go back to the X-Files for a minute, detour through Deadpool and Guardians of the Galaxy 2, dive into Joe’s favorite show, The Walking Dead, and finally, get to some Daredevil Season 2. Plus, as usual, there’s a whole lot more.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the classic Sci-Fi novel Dorsai! by Gordon R. Dickson and and Joe’s pick of Daredevil Season 2.

You’ve waited and you’ve waited and, well, you’ve waited some more. We’re sorry about that but, you know, things happen. At least we weren’t attacked by a bear. So there’s that.
The important thing to keep in mind now is: we’re back baby! Back with a brand new episode of The Flickcast!
You’re right, it is a great time to be alive.
On this week’s show Chris and Joe get right back into it with more discussion about Star Wars: Episode VIII, the X-Files, a Punisher TV series likely coming to Netflix, sexisim and racism in Hollywood and a whole lot more. No, don’t worry, the boys don’t get too political on this week’s episode. It’s just about the fun.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the film The Revenant, directed by Alejandro Iñárritu and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom hardy, and Joe’s pick of Aaron Trotter’s Brewery Playing Cards.

Howdy! It’s time for a brand new episode of The Flickcast! We took a couple weeks off, but now we’re back … with a vengeance! Well, at least we’re back. No need for vengeance . . . for now.
On this week’s episode Chris and Joe jump back into it and talk about a whole bunch of their favorite shows back for new seasons. Some of these include Arrow, The Flash, Agents of SHIELD and, of course, The Walking Dead. They also talk about upcoming shows like Jessica Jones, season two of Daredevil and a bunch of other stuff that’s really cool and interesting. You should check it out.
Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the movie Sicario and Joe’s pick of the new Invincible Iron Man comic series from Marvel.

This first trailer for The Wolf of Wall Street actually came out last night, but that’s okay. We still feel it’s important enough to bring to you.
That mostly because its Martin Scorsese teaming up with Leonardo DiCaprio again. They seem to do pretty well together before. Check out The Departed if you don’t believe us.
In this one, a biographical crime pic based on the memoir by Jordan Belfort, DiCaprio plays the hard partying “boiler room” stockbroker who scammed $200M from investors and was indicted for securities fraud in 1998.
Also in the film are Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler, Margot Robbie and Jon Bernthal. Look for this one to hit theaters on November 15.
Check out the first trailer after the break.

There are few actors these days that can play just about any part in most geek-driven properties these days. Neal McDonough has gone from playing Bruce Banner in the animated Hulk series, to having a part in Star Trek: First Contact, M. Bison for some reason in Street Fighter, and even playing the fan favorite Dum Dum Dougan in last year’s Captain America: The First Avenger.
Now, McDonough is taking the center stage again with Frank Darabont’s upcoming TNT series based on the video game L.A. Noir. Deadline reports.
LA Noir tells the true story of a decades-long conflict between the LAPD, under the determined leadership of Police Chief Parker (McDonough), and ruthless criminal elements led by mobster Mickey Cohen, a one-time boxer who rose to the top of LA’s criminal world.

Last October, the world was rocked when a comic book adaptation about zombies in Georgia made its way to the home of Mad Men and Breaking Bad. Now, we can’t wait for October 16th, as the second season returns with a vengeance.
Fans of both the original comic, heavy drama, and zombies in general will get more than they can chew on when the show returns in a few weeks. Fans of the original will get appearances to the church and the farm, which many know, are pretty big parts of the story from the comic.
We’re also told that this season will bring us ten times more zombie killing, which is more than enough for 90% of the fanbase to return.
Take a look at the brand new, extended trailer after the jump and be sure to get your couch and popcorn ready on October 16th, as The Walking Dead returns with a full 90-minute season premiere.

Still reeling off of last year’s epic season finale, director Frank Darabont and his amazing cast and crew headed down to Atlanta, Georgia this week to begin shooting on the second season of AMC’s smash zombie apocalypse hit, The Walking Dead.
Even in the unbearable heatwave that Atlanta was going through, that didn’t stop the whole crew from pulling it together for the first day, and the folks at AMC managed to get all of it on camera for our enjoyment.
This season is expected to take drastic turns from the original books by Robert Kirkman, but will stay faithful to his vision, as Kirkman is working closely with Darabont on the story and character development of this full run of episodes.
So what are you waiting for? Check out the full behind-the-scenes feature after the jump and let’s hope this can hold us over until the season kicks off on AMC this October.
