It’s time for another new episode of The Flickcast. The pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. This week it’s Episode 427: Moving On.
On this episode Chris and Joe are back discussing a bunch of new and recurring topics, as they often do. Some of these include a bit more about the finale of WandaVision, upcoming Marvel/Disney+ series including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, further managing of expectations, where the MCU goes from here, the “Snyder Cut”, audio books and a whole lot more.
Once again, this latest episode is not as long as some of the last few, but it’s still got a lot of great discussion, analysis and commentary. . . Well, at least it’s not that long.
Oh, if you get a moment and feel like it/can do it, consider rating or reviewing the show on Apple Podcasts. Every rating and review helps. And if you’re really feeling it, consider supporting the show on Patreon.
Thanks for listening!

As you’ve seen there’s been a bunch of new episodes of The Flickcast over the last few months. We’re thrilled to bring the podcast back to you and we look forward to doing it for a long time to come.
But what about this website? Well, good news (we think, at least) the site is coming back too. That’s right, look for more content dropping here shortly. We’re getting things ready behind-the-scenes, but hope to have some stuff ready to go for you soon.
We’re talking, of course, about articles, reviews, tutorials, news, videos and more. All the stuff you used to come here for. Going forward, our coverage will be a bit different than what we did before, though.
We’ll keep talking about movies, television and all that good stuff, but we’re also going to expand into other areas of pop culture like books, music, streaming, technology, tabletop RPGs and much more.
Pretty much anything nerds are playing, watching and enjoying these days will be fair game. It’s gonna be fun. We hope you’ll join us and enjoy!
Until then, look for a brand new episode of The Flickcast every Monday at 9AM Central Time. Thanks and we’ll see you soon.

Happy New Year to one and all! Yes, you can still say that even if it’s already January 11th. A new year and a brand new episode of The Flickcast to start things off right.
Hell, we all need some good things in the world right now, right? So, we’ll do what we can to bring one to you. To start off this first episode of 2021 Chris and Joe get back into it and talk about some old stuff and some new stuff. Some of the old and new stuff includes discussions about the recent Warner Bros./HBO Max deal, Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, Wonder Woman 1984, Justice League, the state of the world and what they’re looking forward to in 2021.
They also talk a bit about what things helped get them through 2020 including 3D printing, Enola Holmes, The Queen’s Gambit and one of Chris’ new favorite shows Ted Lasso. And yes, there’s the usual and ever-present more.
It’s a big show. What better way to kick off a new year? Thanks for listening!

Hello and welcome to a brand new episode of The Flickcast. A pop culture podcast about stuff nerds love. On this week’s show Joe is, unfortunately, away so Chris is joined (once again) by Rick Marshall of Digital Trends to talk about all sorts of amazing things.
Some of these amazing things include the recent HBOMax/Warner Bros announcement, some favorites from all the latest Marvel, Disney and Star Wars news and what they’re looking forward to in 2021. And yes, they also discuss how 2020 wasn’t all bad.
How do they explain “2020 wasn’t all bad”? Well, by highlighting some of the many great movies, tv shows and more that came out during this very difficult year. Hey it’s something, right? It wasn’t all bad, just mostly bad.
It’s a big show with lots going on. Thanks for listening and Happy Holidays!

It’s a brand new episode of The Flickcast. And this time, we’re not alone.
That’s right, this week Chris and Joe welcome special guest Jason Inman. He’s an author, host, comic book writer, podcaster and Army veteran. Plus, he’s a great guy.
The three discuss Jason’s life growing up in Kansas, his time in the military and the development of his love for comics and writing. They also discuss other things including DC versus Marvel, Star Trek, first video game consoles and Jason’s dislike for Klingons.
They also talk about social media, fandom, the treatment of women in comics and entertainment and dealing with things during this weird time. They also get into life, family, the search for toys, talking to your kids about starting a YouTube channel and the first time he saw his comic for sale in a store.

It’s a brand new episode of The Flickcast. Yes, that’s right, two in a row! We’re doing this!
On this episode Chris and Joe get deep into all-things DC and Warner Bros. as they discuss the cool trailers, teasers and developments from the recent Fandome event. That includes, of course, Wonder Woman 1984, the new Batman, James Gunn’s Suicide Squad and the Snyder Cut of Justice League.
They also manage to talk about a certain world event (but just a little), further developments in film and television production and how streaming content is going to be the “new normal” from now on. Plus, of course, the usual more.
Picks are back this week too. Yes! On this episode Chris picks the new HBO series Lovecraft Country and Joe picks something that’s not Marillion. What is it? You’ll have to listen to find out.

They said it would never happen, but it did. That’s right skeptics, we’re back! Back with a brand new episode of The Flickcast. It truly is the best of times . . . or something.
On this brand new episode (did we mention it’s brand new?) Chris and Joe discuss a bunch of new stuff including the state of entertainment, going to the movies (or not), what they’ve been watching, reading and doing during the “break,” how to keep busy and stay focused during the current world situation and a lot more.
