The Flickcast 345: Ice and Fire

by The Flickcast, Sep 12 2017 // 10:00 AM

That’s right. It’s time for a brand new episode of The Flickcast. Get excited. It’s a great day.

On this week’s episode Chris and Joe discuss a bunch of new stuff including more about Game of Thrones, Netflix’s The Defenders, The Punisher, the new Star Trek, revenge as a motive and more. Plus, the usual even more.

No beer selections again this week because the boys are recording in the morning again. And drinking in the morning is, well, probably a bad idea. Probably. Anyway, if you do drink beer (or whatever), try to buy local. It helps and it’s just a nice thing to do.

Picks this week include Chris’ pick of an item that everyone should have: a first aid kit. Joe’s pick this week is a challenge to all to donate to a relief organization like the American Red Cross or the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund.

As always, if you have comments, questions, critiques, offers of sponsorship, or whatever, feel free to hit us up in the comments, on Twitter, at Facebook, Google+ or shoot us an email.

The Flickcast 344: Winter Is Here

by The Flickcast, Aug 20 2017 // 4:00 PM

Hey there, it’s time for a brand new episode of The Flickcast. It’s a great day.

On this week’s episode Chris and Joe discuss a bunch of new stuff including the new season of Game of Thrones, more on Star Trek: Discovery and more. Plus, the usual even more. And make sure to check out our Producer/Editor Michael Seidl’s award-winning short film The Tortoise and the Eagle. He and his team did a great job.

No beer selections again this week because the boys are recording in the morning again. And drinking in the morning is, well, probably a bad idea. Anyway, if you do drink beer (or whatever), try to buy local. Picks this week include Chris’ pick of the original Star Trek series episode The Doomsday Machine and Joe’s pick of the game West of Loathing.

As always, if you have comments, questions, critiques, offers of sponsorship, or whatever, feel free to hit us up in the comments, on Twitter, at Facebook, Google+ or shoot us an email.

The Flickcast 308: You Know Nothing

by The Flickcast, Nov 27 2015 // 2:00 PM

got-js-season-6

It’s Friday again and if you’re not out trying to score a new big screen TV or some other deal fro Black Friday, we’ve got something for you: a new episode of The Flickcast! The best part? It’s absolutely free and you don’t have to wait in line or get into a fistfight just to hear it. You’re welcome.

On this week’s show Chris and Joe spend quite a bit of time discussing the new Jessica Jones series on Netflix. They also cover the upcoming Lost in Space reboot (also on Netflix), DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (coming soon to the CW), the current status of Glenn on The Walking Dead and Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, Supergirl, Misery on Broadway and a whole lot more.

Picks this week are unanimous in that both of your hosts picked Jessica Jones. Not a surprise, however, ’cause it’s a really good show. You should check it out.

As always, if you have comments, questions, critiques, offers of sponsorship, or whatever, feel free to hit us up in the comments, on Twitter, at Facebook, Google+ or via email.
